My parents brought me here while I was visiting from out of town. The food was delicious and they had an impressive number of dessert options (I tried the masala chai ice cream and it was wonderful — the ginger and other spices were very fresh). The staff here treat my elderly parents like family and we were greeted and served with a lot of warmth. They provided us with fresh rice to take home along with our leftovers. I hope to return.

Coriander is the best, fine dining Indian restaurant in New Jersey. The food, ambience and most of all the hospitality of the owner, Harman is unparalleled.
We love everything about Coriander.

The staff was very accommodating for my toddlers and they were very welcoming and friendly.

Then came the food which was all really delicious! The service was pretty prompt and the ambiance and decor was a nice touch! We really enjoyed our experience here and looking forward to coming back! Plus was that our toddlers loved the food too!

I’m on a visit from Melbourne Australia my friend and me had lunch and I was so happy with the delicious food, service, cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere. I enjoyed and will recommend everyone to have a try.

Found this place about a month ago by mistake, but my belly brought me back.
Celebrating our wedding anniversary, I knew my husband would like Coriander. Beautifully decorated space, exceptional service (compliments of Nelson), and lots of CURRY served on a heat level from 1 to 5. I had the lamb, and he had the goat.
To complete our lunch, we shared the flourless chocolate cake for the GF chocolate lovers. Our host even sang and asked us to join in the finale. From the starters to dessert, Coriander is
highly recommended.

The food was delicious! Our waiter was very thoughtful of spice level preferences. The menu is clearly marked with dietary preferences (v, gf) as well as clear dish descriptions. The restaurant was beautiful and comfortable. Although the food was fantastic, the real star of the meal was the staff. They treated us truly like family. Our waiter chatted with us, joked with us, pushed in my chair, and really took care of us the entire time. They were very busy, but we felt very well taken care of. Kindness and care just like a meal with family. Can't wait to go back again! I couldn't recommend Coriander more.

The reviews really don’t do this place justice. All the food I’ve ever had here has been delicious. As good if not better than any other Indian restaurants I’ve tried in the state. The atmosphere is nice as well and service is always really attentive. I recommend the tandoori chicken if you’re new to Indian restaurants.

Visiting from NYC and i can confidently say this is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. They need to open a NYC location! Thank you such an incredible meal plus excellent service.

We’ve been coming here for about 15 years and still look forward to it every time. My treat to myself during the week is a lunchbox. I try to do it at least once a week. I’ll have leftovers for another day and this can’t be beat with their reasonable prices. It’s the first place I think of to take someone who is visiting or for a work function. I look forward to the ambience of the restaurant, the friendly and welcoming staff and owners, and of course the food.
My personal favorites are the chicken tikka masala, the dal makhani, and the navratan korma. Everything is always fresh. Their food is complex and layered, whereas other restaurants just dump hot spices in and you can’t taste anything.
Looking forward to many more years!

Took my mother to dinner for her birthday and it was amazing as always. My family has been coming to coriander for over a decade. Coriander is a small family owned restaurant and everyone is really kind. There is something for everyone. Make sure you try the lassuni gobi and the butter chicken. Make sure to get the platter with the various sides. Children are welcome as well. My son and daughter had the strawberry lassi and loved it. I adore the masala tea and my mother and husband loved the madras coffee. So if you are looking for a family friendly, family run small business with great food stop here.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Very warm and clean interior. The waitstaff is so friendly and professional. And the food is absolutely amazing every single time. I love coming here with my husband for a great dinner date, or with a girlfriend for girl time. Just love it here

We are not from this area but needed a meal before the drive home. So happy we stopped here! The service was great and friendly. The waiter was knowledgeable with gluten issues. The menu was marked for GF foods and they have many! We really enjoyed all the vegetarian dishes and appetizers especially the Malai Kofta. The Mango Lassi was on point! The Chicken masala was the favorite amongst the meat dishes. This place would have gotten a 5 but the chicken korma felt watered down and the sauce flavor was not there. We definitely would be back again if in the area and this would be a our choice for takeout if we lived nearby on a weekly basis!

Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. Very warm, inviting atmosphere and the service is always very attentive and friendly. Coriander is a family favorite!

I try indian food all the time. Very poor customer service and tasteless food. No matter you dine in or take out, wait period is way too long. If they can't handle orders, they shouldn't keep taking orders.

The food is outstanding here. The okra is just out of this world! A bit pricier than the other Indian restaurants in the area, but it comes with service and quality. Only reason for 4 star is that the hours say 11: 30 opening on Sunday but it’s 11: 50 AM and the buffet is still not out yet. It really needs to be out when the restaurant opens.

I came here sometime ago with my older daughter and her friend. I didn’t really know what to choose from the menu back then, and so something was recommended for me and it was surely delicious. I came back after all these years, because I was in the area and it came up on the map. I had my toddlers and their dad with me this time and so I thought it would be a nice place to stop and get some authentic Indian cuisine. Again, this place did not disappoint. It has a beautiful aesthetic indoor theme, and now offers beautiful outdoor seating. We sat inside and really enjoyed the variety of food that we ordered. We were even offered some thing to keep the toddlers busy, some crayons and a coloring placemat. I didn’t get to stay that long or finish my meal fully only because the children were getting tired and were not eating. We had just come from a cinema and they had a small bite to eat there before we came to the restaurant. With the kids tired and not really interested in eating at the time, I thought it would be best to get them home. I sure was excited to eat my food though! I took all of my yummy food with me, and enjoyed it when I got home. I have to say that this is a very beautiful place and I really felt like the staff treats everybody attentively and very kindly. There were so many varieties of dishes on their menu, more than I’ve seen at many other Indian restaurants. It’s a family place, but I would recommend just going out to dinner there, on a date we’re having an intimate meal with some friends. No matter what though, you’ll really enjoy what Coriander has to offer.
I had the Vegetable Thali and paneer, with Mango Lassi… and my partner had the Chicken Biryani.

Great Indian food! Super flavorful and can really deliver on spice if you order spicy 5x. Also they have a solid chicken biryani. Super authentic.

Very disappointed! Ordered Chicken Lababdar, got some kind of Tikka Massala/Korma! Definitely not made from fresh chicken! Definitely not "rich onion and tomato sauce flavored with coriander flavor", but yoghurt marinated grilled chicken (instead of fresh chicken pieces) in yoghurty sauce!

Impressive food, fantastic, quality ingredients, great portion sizes, great play in fusion like flavor. Website/ online appearance does not do the food at Coriander close to the justice it should!

We love Coriander. Miss the daily buffet, but we've never been disappointed.
And I'm one of those that will always find something that can be improved, not so with Coriander. Always the best in every way.

Went here recently with my son and his girlfriend. It was AMAZING. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was so fragrant and delicious and the atmosphere relaxing and lovely. We’ll definitely return.

Their food is incredible, even when it's take out that my husband picked up on his way home from work and it's been sitting in the car for 30 minutes. I have Celiac's and can't have gluten and all of the gluten free options are cleanly labeled on the menu, and there are so many. I'm used to being able to get maybe one or two items on any given menu but we order take out from here frequently and I still haven't tried them all.

My wife and I dined here for the first time and we really enjoyed the great food and atmosphere. Every member of the staff treated us like family and we can't wait to return again soon. We also appreciated the recommendations that were given to us! If you're interested in trying something new or for the first time, just ask and you won't be disappointed.

My birthday dinner was here recently. The decor was impressive, the food was impressive, the customer service was impressive. I was impressed!

1st time ordering from here (and Indian food in general) and it was absolutely fantastic. Portions are huge and everything was handled very smoothly. Definitely have a repeat customer!

The food tastes good. The tandoor paneer (appetizer) just had 6 pieces which costs more than 15 dollars. Too expensive! Malaise kofta is good. The proces are a bit expensive.

I'm quite shocked so many customers have highly rated this restaurant. I have ordered takeout from Coriander three times and the food was very disappointing. The curries were extremely salty, samosas were very greasy, food was way overpriced compared to portion sizes, the takeout order was never ready within a reasonable time period.

Great food! Best Indian food in the area, even better than the places I have had in Philly outside of Indya (which seem to be partners with these folk)

So delicious and HOT! Sometimes when you get take out the food is cold by the time you get home but my food was piping hot and super tasty. Came out pretty quickly as well!

This is our favorite Indian restaurant! If there was an option for more than 5 stars I would give it. Service, food, ambiance all a 5/5 stars. You instantly feel like you walked into a dinner with family. The ambiance is elegant yet welcoming and warm at the same time. Each dish has its own unique flavor which I don’t receive at any other Indian restaurant. 100% recommend!

Ordered take out for dinner here the other night and everything was delicious! I loved the mango lassi as well. We also appreciate the generous, complimentary rice pudding that was given:)

This is the most phenomenal Indian food I have had, locally or otherwise. Each dish was perfectly seasoned. As a vegetarian I was so happy that the veggies were not overcooked, but still fresh and bright. The cooks at Coriander are incredibly talented and obviously put a lot of care into what they produce. The service was also stellar in that front of house is kind and attentive.

This is my first time to try north Indian gourmet. The dishes here are so delicious. We try chicken lambarda, lamb, nan and mango smoothie. The rice is very special and whole my family love it. The owner Herman and the waiter Banbin are friendly and nice. They kindly explain the menu and ingredients for us. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Wow! It was delicious and I highly recommend! Went to lunch for two and the food was reasonably inexpensive and so good. We got the bread basket and vegetable samosas to start. Then we ordered chicken takki (spelling?) and tandoori chicken, everything was so good. Finally, we ended with Madra coffee, which is a sweet cream with coffee and froth. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is great, I haven't been to many places or ate a lot of Indian food, but this place had me coming back within a week. The lamb shank was huge, fall of the bone, juicy and full of flavor. Would recommend everyone try it.

Great food with wonderful customer service. The restaurants indoor decor was well designed and had a nice ambiance. I would recommend getting the crispy spinach chaat or lamb vindaloo. Each dish was decently sized with extra to take home.

We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Yesterday we decided to order takeout. I never have high hopes for takeout because it usually gets soggy by the time you eat and usually cools down too much. Well not this time! The food was as hot and fresh as if we were in restaurant. Coriander is by far my favorite place to eat! The staff is wonderful too.

A friend took us here while we were visiting from out of town. I’ve been to India and has authentic Indian food & let me tell you, this is tasty, authentic Indian food. I ordered the tandoori chicken which did not disappoint. We had a few appetizers, one being a fried spinach dish that I had never had before- it was pretty amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Been there many times. Fantastic people. My favorite indian restaurant of the many I enjoy. I miss the buffet coming from covid but they have pivoted perfectly into the bento boxes which are an equally wonderful deal. Wish it was closer so I had more opportunities to work through more of the menu. My current top indian restaurant and probably number #2 restaurant overall (but it's really close to number #1. There is an amazing ramen place in Delaware) chicken dishes, onion bajji, naan, lentils, etc.all of it is amazing. Not a single complaint and now there is a mr wish next door. Do yourself a favor and try something out there as well.

My SO and I found this place by accident one night a little under a year ago - best accident ever. I was vegan at the time and the server was very thorough in explaining to me what was already vegan & what could be modified to be made vegan - he also remembered us every time we visited thereafter and was always very friendly and accommodating! The food is sooooooooooo good! By far my favorite spot to get Indian food. We’ve since moved across the country and were upset we didn’t get a chance to go one last time as they were closed, but we hope to visit soon - we miss the cuisine at Coriander.

Went to Coriander bistro with friends. Food was awesome! Kabab trios was delicious! Spinach chaat was so good. Definitely recommend it!

Very poor customer service - I ordered panner pepper masala along with other some breads today for lunch. After reaching home, when I opened the pack I found they provided me shrimp pepper masala (non- vegetarian) and called the restaurant back saying i can’t take that as I am a vegetarian. They said the restaurant was closed by then (10 minutes after I picked up) and their owner would call me back. With no clear response, I had to order food from another restaurant for my lunch. No call from anyone so I called again in the evening and the call was answered by their owner. She was not even acknowledging the mistake and was casually saying mistakes like this will happen. They don’t seem to have any concern or respect for packing non-vegetarian food for a vegetarian. Will definitely think twice before I order any food again.

Awesome food with nice ambient and host is friendly and kept checking on us for any need. We were party of 13 and everyone, including kids, like the food!
