Such a family friendly place.awesome food at a great price and everyone is so welcoming we especially love the chicken spedini special and homemade soups.please don't change them

The cod fish diñner is an excellent choice of fish. This time it was overcooked and had to be sent back.easily accommodated and brought back my regular lightly breaded large fish!

The food was great, Best toasted raviolis in STL. Service was great also. Downside, the guys in the dishwashing room had their Alexa blasting music and having a rap battle. It was ridiculous loud and they were rude when the server asked them to turn it down a little. We could still hear them at the front door as we were leaving. I'm sure this will be a big turn off to their customers.

Love it! Old school South side bar and restaurant nestled in a neighborhood at the intersection of Haven and Morganford. Great burgers, pot roast, and love the crinkle fries. Clean and neat.

Great place to eat. Simple and reliable.
Specials are awesome.

Always love going to The Haven. The food is consistently great and everyone who works there is friendly.

The food here is awesome, but they never answer the phone for take-out orders. Then of you go in to order, they ignore that you're there. Maybe look into 3rd party ordering platforms. I was really looking forward to some roast beef and gravy, but I guess we'll go elsewhere once again.

Great Burger and fries. The Haven is one of our go to restaurants. Still great! The stop drop and roll or the Haven burger. You can't go wrong! This restaurant is our go to place for a great meal or to meet with friends.

Great wings! Ashley was my server and super nice. Nice local bar full of people from the area that seemed like a big group of friends. Try the wings and the toasted ravioli sand you won't go wrong. Clean bathrooms and plenty of space. Wasn't super busy when I was there.

We came in to watch the Cardinals game and eat dinner on Saturday and I mean to tell you we had the SWEETEST and KINDEST waitress in the world. Her name was Ashley and she said she was new to the Haven but wow she did an outstanding job. She recommended the French Dip and it was an excellent choice. YUMMY! Can’t wait to come back and see her again!

We were staying in the area and looking for something close by. They had great food and excellent service. Would definitely come back if we're here again.

Went here for lunch. Food OK. Service terrible. Never came over to see if I needed anything.never asked if I wanted refill. Bartender/waitress too worried about people sitting at bar than myself sitting at table. Person who took my plate away, I mentioned this to her. Her reply was" I just got here". Sorry. Never again

Excellent as always. I don't know how they get those crinkle fries so crispy everytime without being overdone.but kudos on that consistency. Burgers always good. Service great, never had an empty coke. Ranch dressing made in-house as our server stated.well its good enough to dip just about anything in. Been going here for years and will continue to do so. Please visit this south side gem.

Went Saturday when they first open with my mom. Never been here. Was a nice atmosphere people at the bar and other people/families sitting at the tables. Wait times were a little long for the food. Server was very nice and got everything perfect. Food was sooooo good! And it was plentiful I had some to take home to eat later on. Great place to go. Will definitely be back.

When my friend I used to work with and I get together for dinner it's always at The Haven. We always know we're going to get a good meal for a reasonable price. The Haven offers a variety of lunch/dinner selections, from the pickiest eater to a family with lots of kids. The service is top notch! Our soft drinks were refilled without asking for a refill. I recommend the steak sandwich on cheese garlic bread, it's delicious!

I got the chicken wing dinner with mashed potatoes and string beans.floored at how delicious the sides where! The chicken definitely wasn't bad, just hoped for more seasoning after seeing the breading. I'll still order it again!

The service was awesome and always is. I couldnt ask for better. I am amazed at the service to say the least. The cooks are hard at work, always.

We decided to try something different while we were in town, and we were very pleased. Friendly staff and food was delicious! Spinach artichoke dip was very good.

I have to admit for some reason I didn't want to like this place. Well maybe thats not right, I should say I expected not to like this place upon first impressions. I couldn't have been more wrong. I love the feeling in here, it almost feels like a secret, small gem. Friendly service and if you read my other reviews you'll know how important that is for me. The true star here is the food. The food is great. Doesn't matter if you go with the wings, or their burgers, and they have a very good steak sandwhich.

We have been here for date night or to watch sporting events, and even family dinners. Again very cozy, neigherhood feeling that you just don't get anywhere else.

If you haven't been, you should give The Haven a shot. If you have been, then maybe we will see you there next time your back. We'll grab a cold bottle of beer and cheers!

Good neighborhood bar&grill. Food is good and timely orders to go. A little concerned about following covid safety, tables looked close and masks not being worn properly.

I haven’t been here in a while and really enjoyed my lunch the other day. The food was fast, fresh and reasonably priced. The staff is helpful and friendly and always provide a great experience.

Megan was amazing! And then a coworker from the kitchen helped and cleared our plates when we were finished! Team work makes the dream work! Thank you!

Socially distant and safe, but the food and service was excellent as always. If you need a safe dine-in dinner, this is a great choice. Not too pricey either!

Really nice, and welcoming staff, and a large menu for your local pub. Nothing fancy, nothing out of this world, but satisfying if you want a decent meal and a warm, sincere smile.

The Haven is a neighborhood bar/rest and it is truly a HAVEN. Great food, great service, and an even better bar tender. If you want the best steak sandwich in STL, this is where you will find it! P. S.everything on the menu is fabulous!

Casual restaurant with American fare. Food was fresh and the burger I ate was delicious! The price is great as was the service. I've driven by 100s of times and asking myself why I didn't stop in sooner.

One of our favorite Corner bars. Great french dip, burgers are awesome, drinks are reasonably priced and the fries are very good! All the staff ar nice too

First time there waitress didn't get food right waited a few yrs to try it again. Nope food way over priced. Husband went there today. (Wished I knew it sooner) got a expensive cheese burger THROWN in a box with a spoiled tomato slice yah a $10 box of spoiled food yah me. This was the third time I tried it. Nope go to white castle atleeat they are cheap enough to screw up.

Food and service was really good! We were just really disappointed that they removed the cheese sticks from the menu and that they're new paper menus are so small they are very difficult to read.

Their chicken spedini is so delicious I try and go every Wednesday just for it! They only serve it Wednesday nights after 4: 30.

Great food and service. I came to this neighborhood eatery based on recommendations. The burger was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The prices were affordable. They are very busy on weekends so expect a wait. I will be back.

Kid friendly! This is a great place. All of our food tasted great. We went on a Sunday evening so not that crowded at all. Clean and wait staff was excellent. If I had anything to warn people about is the parking. It's all street side, there is no parking lot. You may have to walk a little but it is worth it.
