Sunshine Farm

Our family is a big fan of Sunshine Farm. The place is great. Ice cream is delicious, my personal favorite is “Purple Cow”. The U-Pick farm for every season is such a cool family activity. Stop by their farm stand and you’ll find amazing local produce, seasonal vegetables and fruits, pies, cheese…

Today around 5: 50 PM the lady that was in the middle window for the ice cream completely embarrassed a customer by yelling at him in front of many other customers that is unacceptable. Nobody should have an employee treating customers like that only if I had my phone in the moment, I would’ve recorded and sent it to the owner I have been going to this place for many years, but never seen this type of action from an employee. I hope the camera is checked because there is one facing the windows and to that employee be a little bit more ethical when treating customers.

Wicked good ice cream, holy cow I had a kiddie sundae and I could only eat half of it. The hot fudge sauce. If you are old enough to remember the really good Brigham's hot fudge sauce, it's just like that, so creamy and smooth everything was amazing as far as the ice cream and service. The only thing that bummed me out, and I wouldn't have known if I didn't need to use the ladies room, that the bathroom is a Porta potty off a dirt drive way quite a way from the store. I could not feasible walk (me personally not the average person) to the Port a potty and there were too many kids running around (not the establishments fault) to drive down there.
Otherwise, I will empty my bladder and head back over for an other visit soon.

Great place for blueberry picking! There’s also a store with their produce! Bought a peach butter that i can’t wait to use and gorgeous sunflowers!

Very unprofessional staff! Blueberry picking was a disaster! Obligated us to take a box for a 3year-old and there were no blueberries at all! Multiple families with kids complained and they didn't want to refund or allow us to purchase things from store for the 2 empty blueberry boxes. We will definitely NOT be returning there!

They come to our farmers market, the fruit and veggies are of the poorest quality that you'll find anywhere and nobody working for them cares, not even a little. Only exception is the sweet corn, which is great.

Came here to get an ice cream, it’s a great place to go they have tons of flavors! I got a kiddie scoop and it was huge for just around $5. Plenty of places to sit and you can also walk around the farm a bit. They sell flowers and plants as well and I heard you can pick fruit so I’d love to go back when it’s in season!

A delight to walk through the greenhouses and walk among the flowers! It will be difficult to choose from the various ice cream options, all of which are delicious!

They should stick to one thing. And one thing only. Offering fruit picking in that area is just bad business. Its clear to see.

Terrible customer service, owner extremely rude! Will not be coming back to this place! I have an ESA and the woman that takes care of garden came out of her way to tell me that dogs are not allowed. Don’t waist your time and money at this location!

Wonderful selection of Christmas trees, a bonfire, and helpful staff to load it on your vehicle.

Lady who sold us the bag to pick apples was very rude. The orchards for most apples were bare, but they had more trees avalible but had been blocked off. I paid 45 bucks for a bag of apples I didn't even get to fill because of the selection. Wont be back to this farm.

Apple picking is an experience expense. We had a great time. Of course we were bummed we waited so long to go, but were able to get the full experience nonetheless. The woman working inside was friendly, helpful and working hard to make sure things remained stocked. She engaged with us and our daughter, and was very pleasant. The pumpkins were nice, there was a good variety. Inside had many lovely cheeses, produce and of course more apples!

Do not patron Sunshine farms. I rarely post reviews, but they have terrible customer service. Soon after they yelled at a mom with two children for bringing a bag to carry their water, they refused to let us peach pick because our friend had a stroller. They can check all our bags if they’re paranoid about fruit stealing. We asked for a refund and went to Lookout farm just 10 minutes away, which is stroller friendly, super amiable staff, and has a delicious restaurant and lunch menu.

I walked in an immediately got sticker shock. Outpost has far more reasonable prices. I bought a loaf of triple berry bread that contained ZERO berries. Upon returning it i felt like I was being scrutinized by my appearance and she didn’t believe me. I was told that food could not be returned. Hello. I was sold a defective product. She begrudgingly offered another loaf but I was hesitant. The first was missing the berries completely and was under cooked. My only recourse was to take a replacement loaf as she refused money back or credit. The girl checked it and said it was fine and handed it to me. She would not touch my return and brought a dirty barrel over so I could discard it. Yet I should touch things she handled? Evidently she’s clean but I’m diseased. This is not customer service. Not recommended.

A small farm with a good vibe. A Little understaffed and the ice cream is frankly overpriced and not that good. It’s still a nice spots away from the city.
