This place has got some of the top-notch bakery and bread items around! Some day, I hope to try a pizza and a sandwich!

Come back to a time when the entrepreneurial spirit was still alive and hard working mom and pops kept the town going. Truly a great place with an amazing assortment of pastries, donuts, coffee selections and even prepped lunch options. Their hot and fresh breakfast sandwiches are the best way to start anyone's day.

I am absolutely floored by my visit today (12/23/23). I had pre-ordered a large pastry platter for Christmas. When I picked up the platter.it looked like it had been thrown together quickly with no care.

I would normally just accept the situation as a one time occurrence.as there pastries have been A+ in the past.

Unfortunately, it was made worse by a rude cashier.who was not interested in being polite and rushed me out the door.

As such. I will need to start visiting other bakeries for my future purchases.

I decided to start a new tradition at work. I would buy donuts, muffins, and bagels for my team every Saturday. I thought the best place to go would be the Italian bakery. NOPE! Nat the person who was at the counter (won't say the person who helped me because that was the last thing she did). Was rude and made me feel like my questions and ordering were an inconvenience. I was sooo disappointed! I always loved coming to the Italian Bakery. This experience just ruined it for me. Especially this time of year when everyone should be joyful and happy. Bahhh Humbug Scrooge Nat.

A confectionery paradise, serving the most decadent pastries in the state. I wish I'd asked my wife to marry me there, then she wouldn't have hesitated because everything in the shop gets an immediate "yes". I've never been to Italy, but if cartoon stereotypes are to be believed, this bakery is why they're so rotund and happy. I've asked if I could live in their lobby and with a twinkle in their eye, they gave me a donut and pointed at the door. Their tiramisu cake is gonna be what brokers peace in Russia.

If you want a true experience of an Italian Bakery go here! Like run here tomorrow! You will not be disappointed. Traditional cakes, pastries, bread, sandwiches. Reasonable prices. A taste of something for everyone. Can not get any better.

Yummy. The absolutely best fresh doughnuts in Lewiston PERIOD. The rest of the menu is just as great.

They have an amazing selection of pastries including lemon bars, dozens of types of cookies. Their cannoli and macaroons are amazing.

I usually get a turkey sub with cheese, toasted the bread, lettuce, pickle and italian dressing.

You cant go wrong with this place.

By far my favorite place to go. When I found out about this place I went everyday for a week straight. Super cheap and every employee is very attentive and nice. Amazing food and a huge selection of cookies, donuts, pastries, etc. I’d say a sixth star is deserved

We absolutely love the Italian Bakery. As far as taste and price go, they are amazing! The staff is kind and they are popular for a reason!

We love the pizzas and italian sandwiches. Of course the donuts and pastries are great tasting and look wonderful, but we are super careful with the sugary and fatty carb loaded foods so we can't have so much of them, so they are a special indulgence if we give in and have some. They have many other savory options as well like pot pie, baked beans, pasta salad and the like.

The other day for breakfast I got a wrap and it was stuffed full and piping hot. So fresh. It was amazing. Excellent breakfast choice.

Brandon certainly has a way with operating and orchestrating that busy little place. From greeting customers and answering the phone to directing staff and filling orders the guy is always running on all cylinders.

It truly is an iconic gem of the traditional downtown Lewiston of a generation ago, with the verve of fresh, young ownership. Definitely recommended.

The best! Pizza and sandwich rolls to pastries and donuts haven't had anything bad. Service is friendly and fast.

I have only tired the doughnuts and pastries, but they are amazing and wonderful. The breads and other food they do look great too and I can't wait to go back and try more!

The beans were great but the dinner roll or I should say not same day they used to be fresh

Did a group lunch order for 8 people. Order was on time, delicious and enjoyed by everyone.

Went for donuts at 6am, I start work at 6am but wanted to grab my team donuts as hours said they were open at 6 on tuesdays.waited 15min thinking they would open late. Other cars waited as well. Also called but they didn’t open. I hope everyone’s okay. Didn’t see a sign etc.and hours on door were same as online.

Best bakery I've found in maine thus far. They don't have one or two great items. It is all good. Great treat for the crew when we're in the area and my kiddos love it too.

One of Lewiston’s best food places! The best bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and donuts in town.

Bacon egg and cheese was so good coming from a New Yorker. Iced coffee was good. All in all will become a staple

Having previously lived in Lewiston I had been to this gem many times. This time I brought a good friend. The food was delicious, the prices very reasonable, and even though the place was packed the staff were friendly while still efficient. This place is a must try
