Well, this is a good restaurant, not amazing in my opinion. Food was good, service was next level service… basically amazing, atmosphere was good. Overall a full 4 star review.
However we had an issue, we reserved the table the day before and we said that we had a 8months old and a stroller. Once we got to the restaurant, the manager asked us to fold the stroller and to leave the stroller at the entrance, then we were escorted to the table which was in a different room. Initially everything was ok with the high chair but eventually our 8 months decided to fall asleep and without stroller we had some issue in managing this situation. Hard to understand why you cannot keep the stroller with you in this restaurant…

I have been eating here for 20 years. It must have new owners, because it is no longer the greatest restaurant I ever went to. The fish used to great. It's not. I ordered the scallops in Pernod sauce. The scallops were tiny (they used to be sea scallops) and it was in Pernod butter, not the actual sauce they used to make. It was 50% of the dish I used to love. They never sold pasta dishes before. Not great food. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Better restaurants in Portland. Try BODA on Congress St. Much better and worth the money.

We didnt have a reservation, but got seated promptly at the bar. Great staff, great recommendations, and great food. Everything was thoughtful, technically sound, and elegant but with enough restraint to avoid being pretentious. Three of us split oysters, the octopus salad, mussles that required two rounds of bread for extra dipping, and then an entree each (Branzio whole, Lobster in pasta, and Cod special.) Full food coma. Thanks for a great meal!

We ordered:
Mussels Provencal: Delicious, the mussels were fresh, plump, and perfectly cooked. The sauce was perfect and complimented the mussels without overpowering it.

Lobster Diavolo for Two with Linguine (Red Sauce) : Very generous portions, we couldn't finish it! The seafood was delicious and the grilled lobster was perfectly cooked and tender. The only complaint was that the sauce was quite salty and the flavor profile of the sauce felt very one dimensional due to that.

Bottle of Sauv. Blanc: Great, crisp and complimented the seafood well.

The service and atmosphere were great. Our server was attentive and checked on us often to see if we had all we needed. Overall I would come back to try other dishes as well next time I visit Portland.

Just go. Be warned. It's a busy place and seating can be a bit cozy. But the staff are efficient, knowledgeable, and the food will not disappoint.

Fantastic, great food, great bar atmosphere, fantastic oysters. The people were so friendly and helpful! Will definitely recommend it to friends and will come back.

Had the Lobster for two and oysters (3 each) on 9/5/23 within an hour of my meal finishing, I was sick at the hotel. Spent 4 hours getting ill. Sent a private Facebook message with no response. It is not close to what it was. Very disappointing.

Very, very good! La vie en rose and sole meunière for my last night in Portland. Very nice service.

This is a neat restaurant in the downtown area of Portland.
Due to the busy hour when we visited on a weekend, it would be a long wait to get inside seating. We decided to skip the long wait and go for an outdoor table. As luck would have it, it was a very good decision. The seating area was located at the back of the building, asking the back alley where there were pedestrian traffic and street performers. A nice band was playing 10 feet away from our table.
Although the temperature was hovering around high 60's, it was not chilly to dine outside. Tables were close. We met a young couple visiting from Canada and struck up a good conversation.
The meal, yes, was Delicious. The mussels were the best we have ever had because they were plump and juicy, not shriveled up. This speaks to the quality of sourcing and cooking.
Highly recommended.

Nikko was absolutely amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable and very entertaining. Entire staff attentive and top notch! From refreshing our water, wine recs and hot hand towels after dinner to the open kitchen meal prep is on point! Food is INCREDIBLE! A must do in Portland!

Great seafood restaurant in Portland's Old Port. Fresh food and drink menu. Lots of locally sourced options.

Very very expensive for 'meh' food and a tired atmosphere. It wasn't terrible but definitely underwhelming. This restaurant is near the other tourist traps for a reason.

Delicious mussels. Great bread. Server was fantastic. Dripping air conditioning was off slightly off putting.

I like the antique atmosphere here. The local beer they recommended was also great. I ordered the lobster diavolo and it was good except for the wrong order of grilled lobster on linguine. Next time, I want to try the Lobster Diavolo. I recommend the mussel over linguine!

Street and Co is our favorite Portland restaurant no matter how many times we dine there. Every item is exquisitely prepared, always fresh and top quality. Tatiyana, our server tonight, could not have been more helpful—thank you!

Wow. We both agreed this was the best meal we’d had in ages (and that coming from a pair of Manhattan-ites!). The drinks were refreshing and creative, the food perfectly prepared and interestingly presented. The octopus was the best either of us had eaten, and the marinade for the whole branzino was addictively good. Definitely get a reservation well in advance to score a table at arguably the best restaurant in Portland!

My husband lived in Portland 15 years ago and raved about this place so when we took a vacation here, we had to try it. The service and atmosphere was phenomenal. We had the oysters, mussels, scallops and salmon special of the day. We ate every bit. The flavors were amazing. We can't wait to go back again!

Great food! We had mussels and octopus appetizers. The broth over the mussels was delicious. Drinks were great too!

Food was very good but service was poor. Our waiter hardly checked on us. We saw the woman who refilled our water more than our waiter… Also took an hour to get our food.

I was very disappointed. Had reservations at 8: 15 pm, was seated fairly quickly. Thank goodness for the young lady who refilled our water and kept supplying us with bread because it took 40 minutes to serve linguine w/shrimp, linguine w/lobster, and linguine w/muscles. It wasn't until I got up to confront the waiter to ask if our order had been lost or overlooked while other patrons were getting the food around us. I would never return back to the restaurant and chance that long of delay in food service, especially with the cost per dinner.

Outstanding rich atmosphere and extraordinary food! It is a bistro style, all-seafood restaurant with over 30 years of experience located in the heart of Old Port district.

Does not have any menu items for people who don't like seafood. No vegetarian or chicken entries. My friends like seafood and I'll eat salmon sometimes but ended up sending back the food and deciding I'd rather go hungry then eat here.

Sat at bar for dinner, did not have reservation and the restaurant was booked. Arrived shortly before 5pm, sat immediately and received excellent service. Limited selection until 530pm, which was stated and was ok. Wonderful young lady (bartender), think her name is Wendy (she was from CA, went to college in Boston) and really made our dinner special. Food was excellent. Met other staff, all very pleasant. Would definitely visit again.
