Good lobster roll and fried clams. Clam chowder, however, is a bit watery and has tons of potatoes in it instead of clams.

Little ambiance. Chowder average at best. Fried clams well executed but not exceptional.

Great seafood. Very clean. Sides needed some help but good. I enjoyed the blueberry whoopie pie.

A decent place with decent food. Plenty of parking on either side. This is a great place to stop by.

I am 58 years old and let me say that lobster roll I had there last week is one of the best things I have ever eaten in my entire life! The lobster melted in my mouth it was so tender, the bread it was on was absolutely perfect as well, I thought I dided and went to heaven! My husband had the shrimp and said it was the best he ever had. SERVICE. AWESOME! The guys working that day were super nice and helpful. I am from Oklahoma and wasn't sure to order the lobster roll or clams, I am glad I picked the lobster roll but geesh, the clam dinners looked amazing as well! We loved the atmosphere too! I will never forget my experience there and hopefully make it up that way again! Thank you for making such a positive impression and the best food on our 8 day New England Trip! I would give 100 stars if I could!

Make sure to order fried stuff that's where they shine. Chicken tenders are a great sleeper item here.

Excellent fish sandwich and the spicy red tartar sauce option was excellent. I heard the fella in pickup right before me mention it, so I figured I'd ask for it also!

My husband is on a quest to find the best Clams and he thinks he has at Bob’s. He ordered lightly breaded so he would taste the clams, and that he did. And yes, I knicked some off his plate. They were light and succulent and sweet and cooked perfectly. Do go here! I wasn’t hungry so had the chicken fingers off the kids menu, what a gourmet surprise they were!
This place is busy but so worth a detour!

Loved the clam chowder and lobster Roll. We were told the smaller places were better, and it did not lead us down.

For 20 years Bob's was a reason to travel to Kittery for superb fried seafood. After a 2 year hiatus we stopped last week and as soon as we received our food we knew something had changed. The shrimp were tiny and tasteless and the fish was in chunks, rather than a filet, and equally tasteless and smelled fishy. After leaving we discovered that the business had been sold. Never again!

I had the lobster roll with fries. Tasty and plentiful. Hubby had the Cajun fish basket. Fish was yummy, but the onion rings were bland. Onion rings might have been tastier well done and with a sprinkle of Cajun spice.

Was hard to understand when they called out your numbers when ready. Too fast and many at a time. Food was good.

We were very impressed with the scallops and clams. Their service was fast. The food was outstanding. The prices are high, but the food is memorable. We will visit again for sure when we are in the area.

I had such high hopes for my first lobster roll, I came here based on the reviews. I’m not sure if it’s my taste buds or the lobster roll, but it was tasteless. Maybe I should have gotten the one with mayonnaise instead of butter. I didn’t expect to spend $30 on a small lobster roll either. I didn’t have the heart to tell my husband I didn’t like it though. We also got a clam chowder soup and it was barely warm. We had to ask for another one and thankfully they gave us a new one that tasted much better.

There were a lot of people, but the food was pretty quick, considering it was all sea food. And there were a lot of seats in the back that you don't see from the front. It is cute and a great atmosphere. The downside is that we sat inside, a bit chill outside under the tent, it was loud.

A must stop when we’re visiting Maine, the first town in Maine with great lobster rolls and my wife loves the clams. Great atmosphere, great food and staff was friendly

The food here is sooo good, we’ve been a number of times over the years and plan our trip to ensure we stop!

It's a shack that sells great fresh fried food in paper baskets. We loved it! The fried clams were great and lobsta roll was reasonably priced. The chowda and fried shrimp was also very good. The crab cakes were just ok. I will go back again!

Food wasn't up to par to other places I have visited in Maine horrible loud speaker situation happening calling numbers there has to be a better way of giving ppl their food!

Great fried clams! Not cheap, but generous portions. The sweet potato fries are also excellent.

How disheartening to visit Bob’s today for the first time with a new management to see that they’ve done away with gluten-free battered food. The reason they don’t have batter that’s gluten-free will Bob did for years so I don’t consider that an excuse. Very difficult to find places that offers this so it was definitely a shining star. It’s too bad the tradition was not carried on with the new owners. We will not be back sadly!
