Super 8 by Wyndham Emporia

We were traveling through and needed accommodations for one night only. The Innkeeper greeted us and was very proficient and quick at identifying an available room which suited our needs very well.

The desk clerk was profession and efficient. The check in system was up to date. Lobby was clean.
Not all Super 8's are up to these standards.
The room was great, just a little worn.

Easy to find and updated location. Metal frame made a lot of noise during adult activities. Massage chair was a nice touch! Great place to poop

The room was really hot, and the A/C did little to cool it. I had to take a cold shower, the hot water was barely luke warm. If you like to relax in a hot room after a cold shower, this is the right place.

Super clean rooms. Would of rated the hotel itself and 4 star hotel due to the carpets being outdated and holds smells. Other than that the hotel was great. Management was superb.

Traveling across the country for a job. I had my first GOOD nights sleep here. The room was really clean and I had zero worries about picking up bedbugs or other critters you might get at other motels.

We were very happy with this hotel. The manager and staff were very cordial. They explained everything to us when we checked in. Check in was very quick because I had called ahead to make sure that they had a room that allowed pets. The rooms were very clean. We had a massage chair in the room which was a plus. Breakfast included waffles, pancakes, cereal, prepackaged muffins and honey buns. There was coffee, juice, milk and packets for hot chocolate. The grounds where we took our dog were clean and there were doggie baggies available. We were very comfortable there and will use them again when we travel to Emporia.

Rooms were clean. Beds were hard and the only protein on the contental breakfast was burnt boiled eggs.

This was my second visit in 2 years. Consistently good rooms, good people, and safe environment.

I have no complaints! I was a little worried about noise when i first pulled in since the parking lot had a lot of construction/work crew trucks in it, but it was good. I couldn't hear anything. Beds were comfy, room was clean, AC kicked out good cold air and the owner (I think it was) was very nice.

Nice quiet comfortable bedrooms the people that run the place are wonderful. They are on top of everything great breakfast as well. Very nice place to stay.
I come back through.

We stayed at a couple Super 8's over the course of 2 week trip. They all were good places to stay. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Room was clean, comfortable, and quite.

Wonderful place they call you in your room to see if everything is ok and let you know they have breakfast in the morning

The property itself is well-kept and very clean. The owners of the hotel clearly care about the hotel. All areas of the hotel were clean. I can't speak for the breakfast as we didn't get up in time but the breakfast room looked very clean and nice. The property has clearly been updated and is just super nice. We planned to stay for two nights and that room was great. We checked out after the first night and then decided later to stay another night. So we had two different rooms but both rooms had a nice-sized mini-fridge, microwave, mini-keurig with plenty of coffee supplies and it was updated and clean. The shower had great water pressure with an adjustable faucet. The hotel was relatively quiet. We did hear some footsteps above us but that is to be expected and it wasn't bothersome at all. I highly recommend this hotel if you will be staying in Emporia. For the price and quality, it can't be beat.

We were disappointed. Clean, friendly staff, but not a good value and previous ratings were misleading. Worn. There were only 2 choices offered for breakfast. I understand Covid, but other hotels are able to offer better options.

It is always clean. They are pet friendly with a grassy area for the pets to use and a post there that holds doggie poop bags.

We requested the senior rate. When we arrived we were given a handicapped accessable room. It was very clean and comfortable. We slept well on a comfortable bed and woke up rested. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased!

Great place to stay when working out of town and close to everything you need to do the job and everything you need

Very nicely remodeled. Very clean and bright. Cleanest bathroom we have seen in forever. Reasonable rates.

The room was very clean. It had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and large screen television.

Don't be fooled this is a good place to rest your head. I love this place, staff very friendly and helpful, it is very clean and they have. Massaging recliners! Yes please and they are heated!

Close to my job in emporia, Ks. Easy access. Room was clean and well kept, huge flat screen tv and a recliner with a massager. Deff worth a try when in town.

Tonights room is room 225 of the super 8 in Emporia Kansas. Over all This is a better than average Super 8
(The rocking heated massage recliner in the room was an unusual and welcoming surprise)
The young lady who checked me in was quite polite and extremely efficient
They do not have parking for oversized vehicles however I did fit my bobtail semi tractor (barely, but it did fit)
I would be happy to stay here again, I normally stay up the street at the Rodeway but this place is much nicer

The owner/ manager takes great care of this property. Provided me with a courtesy call to the room after I got settled in to ensure everything was perfect.

Book hotel room through Expedia - receive call 24 hours later from hotel with 110% price increase or must cancel room - no reason given and then hung up on - called back several times to no answer and to be hung up on again. Terrible customer service as well as very shady business practices to offer/advertise a room at one rate only to call 24 hours later to increase price by over double.

I had rented 2 rooms for friends and the manager called me later and said they had stolen a pillow case and several towels. I was charged 25$ a towel and I could have gotten better towels for cheaper.

It is a clean place, and the beds are good, but the rooms are so small that you barely have enough room to move around in them.
