My new windows look spectacular. The brand new window that was installed in the living room brings so much light into the house. I love it. They had everything done in three days. Thank you Mad City for such a wonderfu job.

We had gotten an estimate in June and had been told it would probably be 6 to 8 weeks before anything could be started.possibly longer since we requested a different finish for our accessories. We were installed in about 4.5. It looks great and the work was completed quicker than we had expected. When we are ready to do our other bathroom we will definitely be calling them again!

The gentlemen were professional and considerate. They installed the windows in a timely manner. Cleaned the area when done. Then did a walk through to make sure I knew how to operate and take care of the new windows.

I am proud and very pleased with the service I received from this company, from the first visit to give me a quote until the last when the windows were installed. Nothing stands in their way of doing a first rate job, not even a snow storm. When they said they would be here on that Friday, they came even though we had had the biggest storm of the year the day before. They had to shovel a path to the outside of each window, come in and out working to install the windows and never messed up my house doing it. They were polite, helpful and made the whole experience a joy and the results are top notch, my house is warmer and I use less energy and I look forward next tax season to a nice rebate. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Mad City - one and all.

This business is great, they were on time, introduced there selves as the employees of mad city told us there names, and then started work right away.they told us what they were going to be doing almost step for step and they made sure to lay a tarp to keep the dust off our carpet very polite employees.the workmanship of the walk in shower they put in was fantastic and beautiful, i would definately hire them again. The installation was quick and professional. My shower was replaced with a new one within 2 days!

The two guies that came up were awesome; very professional, clean, polite, and respectful.
If they questioned anything, they would ask me if that's how I'd like it to be set up, and done.
I had some plumbing that was not up to code, and they took care of everything that needed to be done on that end, as well.
Highly recommend this company for any remodeling, or repairs that you need completed. They did my entire remodeling in 9 hours, and it was done right, and correct.

They were on time, very professional, and cleaned up after themselves! Great service! I had a follow up question that I asked on their website, and they called me back and answered in within 24 hours.

Arrived on time. Introduced themselves and tore into it. Two hours the tub was out of the house and walls were open to the studs and plumbing was replaced. The longest wait was for the city inspector. Job done mess cleaned up. Very satisfied with outcome. I will definitely refer to company.

We had our shower remodeled. The workers were on time and very professional. They worked steadily and got done in the promised 8 hours. They asked questions during the remodel to assure that we would be pleased with the placement of the shelves and foot bar. We couldn't be happier with the final product.

I wished these people would stop soliciting me they're constantly sending flyers in my mailbox & when I called the young girl up to tell her to take me off the mailing list she became very rude with me but I bet if I decided to get windows with them she'd be as nice as apple pie. No I'd never go to that place to get any work done. Please stop soliciting people every year! & that guy who does the commercials looks really creepy & creeps me out everytime I see him advertising his products. He looks like a phony con artist.

Dominick Mad City's insaller just amazed me.
It amazed me that he gutted it and replaced it in 2 visits. I would say 2 days put that wouldn't be true. Cause Dominick had it ALL done in 2 short days.

The only thing I would of liked. The 1st shower I had taken after the set time I realized I only had the grab bars. NO towel rack.

My wife and I have been thinking about converting our tub/shower unit into a walk-in shower because of our mobility for quite a while. We came across Mad City's ad in our local paper and although skeptical not knowing much about the company we decided to inquire. We are so glad we did. All of our conversations and interactions from the sales rep to the office staff to the installers were nothing but positive. Tommy the lead installer kept us updated about the progress of the install while maintaining a clean work place and involving us in some of the small details. If someone is looking for a professional job I would encourage them to give Mad City an opportunity. The results is that we love our new shower and actually look forward to using it each day.

Everything was good about our replacement window experience. From the salesman to the installers and every interaction in between, Mad City was a pleasure to work with. I would, and have been recommending them to anyone interested in new windows.

Love the new windows. Unbelieveability that I can turn my thermostat down to 68-70 on cold days and be comfortable! Amazing! The person (Matt) came in and replaced 4 windows in one day. When he left you would never know he had been here other than the we had new windows! Great company - great job! Thank you Mad City Windows!:)

We had two appointments scheduled, first one they were 30 minutes late, and stayed for almost three hours! The second we had scheduled, they were 40 minutes late, and when my husband called to cancel the lady on the phone was short with him and rude! And would not call the driver to tell him not to come. He arrived 40 minutes late, we were told he was running a "few mintues" late 40 minutes is NOT a few! We will not use this company for the simple fact of their lack of promptness, and not caring about our time.

I had my bathtub replaced with a new standup shower. The install with done very professionally and was kept informed of the progress of the install. If there was questions about where to place items they asked and exceeded expectations. Worth every bit of it.

Brandon and Nathan were very nice, polite and efficient in their work. Answered any questions that we may have and showed us the work at the various stages. The plumbing done by David was excellent too and he even added shutoff valves that we didn't have before. All three cleaned up the area they were working on. Also appreciated the calls checking on the progress and if it was meeting our expectations. Would recommend Mad City, especially this crew. Very professional group and business.

From the salesman to the installers, everyone was very professional. The job was completed on time. The installers were careful From the beginning of the job to the end.

I haven't got my windows in yet Mike just came today and we went over everything. I'll get on again later but he was so nice and helpful with finding right financing I could afford. I'm excited and wanted to say something nice about this man right away. Thanks.

This is a long review but hopefully contains some helpful and useful information that others can use.

I have never seen a grown adult pout so hard when I told the salesperson there was no way I was going to sign a >$10K contract after one meeting at 6pm. Who would do this? When you tell a business, "We'll think about it" and they get upset and huff and storm out, they are telling you - "we are not a good business! ". Being a smart consumer means doing research, price comparisons, and asking tough questions. A reputable business would encourage customers to take these actions because they know at the end of the day they are going to still come out on top. Mad City knows they won't come out on top, thus restoring to predatory sales tactics.
Here's a list of red flags my wife and I experienced during an "estimate" for a new bath/shower: (1) Had to sit through slideshows and multiple videos about their "products". It's a bathtub, not a miracle of science. Why am I watching a video about the history of the company and listening to stories about the founder and president? Is the president going to install my bathtub? This tactic of taking a large amount of time leverages the sunk-cost fallacy: people are more apt to proceed in an investment if they feel they've already invested resources or time in that investment, i.e, "well I've sat her for two hours listening to this speil, I might as well go ahead and buy this product". (2) Salesperson asked us to guess the estimate he calculated. This is an old sales strategy that typically isn't employed anymore because it backfires so often (remember they used to do this on infomercials - how much would you pay for this new blender? 500,200,100? How about 50!) It creates an illusion that you are saving money. It also gives the salesperson a sense of price point, or what you're willing to pay for the service. Not really how a contracting bid is typically done. (3) Salesperson kept applying "discounts" that were only available if we decided to sign the contract right there and then. I asked the salesperson why these discounts were only good right now and not tomorrow. You could definitely tell he doesn't get asked this very often because his response was all over the place -"budget roll over", "marketing funds will run out", "well not run out, but they get used elsewhere", "well not used elsewhere, but used". Used by tomorrow? Spoiler: it just means there's a huge markup. (4) Salesperson went through a very observable mood shift after telling him multiple times, we don't sign same-day contracts and we always take multiple bids. He told us he's worked in this business long enough to know we weren't going to call him, and then went into a story about how he works 12 hour days and travels long distances. So I'm supposed to pay this person for a $10,000+ bathtub (just so you know is ridiculously overpriced) because I feel bad for him? Hard no.
The moral of this lengthy review is that people are often taken advantage of because they are so afraid they'll come off as rude. Except a lot of times we confuse being rude with being uncomfortable. There's nothing wrong with being uncomfortable, being uncomfortable is why I didn't pay a dude $10,000 for an overpriced plastic bathtub. Don't be afraid to be uncomfortable! As an aside: we were super polite to this salesperson, made sure he had something to drink, didn't interrupt or rush him and joked around with him. Rude? No. Uncomfortable? Maybe. $10,000? Saved.

Mad City completed two jobs for me within last 5 months, bath and replaced six windows. All aspects were great, from quotes to completion. They kept me in the loop during the entire process and no surprises. Construction mess was non existent, which was great. Installers were very professional. I would rehire again, and highly recommend them if you want to get your job completed. Dan M from Dubuque.

Quality of products and installers was above my expectations. The installers were very courteous and left everything clean when they finished the job. I will use Mad City again on our next project.

We had Thomas, Isaac, for our build and Luke for plumbing. Not only were the guys extremely professional, they kept us up dated as they went along. They kept the bathroom, and work area clean. The were funny, and hard working. We can't Thank them enough! Definitely a company we would recommend!
