Hotel Indigo Columbus Architectural Center, an IHG Hotel

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and organized. It was easy to get to all of the nearby destinations by foot due to the great location. I did not purchase any food or drinks, so I am unable to provide comment on those amenities.

The first time we stayed at this location we were woken up in the middle of the night by extreme noise in the hallways and the rooms next to us. I communicated with the front desk, they assured me they would take care of the situation. We agreed to stay the second night, only to find the same noise occurred again. Upon speaking with the front desk, they promised moving forward, we would not have to deal with the noise. Throughout the night into the following morning, the noise persisted. I communicated this with the front desk manager as we checked out. She asked that I call to speak with the manager directly the next time we would be in town as I wanted to rectify the matter by offering a lower rate the next visit. Here we are, current time after speaking with the general manager, Erica at 12 PM noon today, we agreed to give this location another go, with the discount she offered. We reserved a king room on the TOP floor for TWO nights. I did not have my payment information on hand, so she asked me to contact Hector with the payment information as soon as I got back to my office. I contacted Hector at 5: 33 PM, he assured me that the top floor king room was ready and waiting for us. After driving all the way to the location, upon arrival, we were informed that there was no reservation, and there were no king rooms left. Jared was working the front desk, he had absolutely no interest in trying to help rectify the matter. He continued to answer the phone in the midst of the conversation, he reiterated that there were no king rooms, zero reservations in our name, and basically told us that he could not do anything about it. His lack of professionalism, and Customer Service was appalling. After going back-and-forth for several minutes, he then tells us that he has two queen beds available, on the second floor. This was nothing but an extreme frustration and inconvenience. He tells me he cannot adjust the rate, and then I must speak with a manager the following morning. At this point, I have no idea what I just paid for, nor do I have any idea if I will be compensated for the yet again mishap. I highly recommend looking into other options when in the area. Our reservation for tomorrow is obviously nonexistent, and this is a complete disaster. After speaking with another guest who arrived AFTER us as a WALK IN, Jared offered him a king room on the top floor, plus free breakfast, meanwhile telling us that wasn’t an option. Discrimination at its finest! They lack customer service, organization, and follow through. We stay it hotel indigo establishments frequently, this is by far the most unorganized chaos we have encountered not once, but twice. Looking forward to speaking with corporate to let them know how this establishment handle things, or lack there of.

Amazing stay. This is my fourth time in a Hotel Indigo, and this location fully lives up to the hype. Love the creativity, warmth, and amenities of this hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The gym and pool are better than many other brands at a similar price point. Breakfast was hardy, with plenty of choices. This hotel is close to a charming downtown area full of shops, eateries, and entertainment. We are delighted to have stayed here. Glad this is part of IHG’s portfolio.

Beautiful clean rooms wonderful friendly accommodating staff in this boutique hotel. Also great little restaurant. One thing is if you’re short or somewhat disabled, the beds are very high, although when I questioned the concierge about it, she found us a room for the disabled with a lower bed.

Great place to stay in the heart of the city. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available. Other restaurants are walking distance too. Courteous staff and great service. Works well if coming for a business trip as Cummins office and plants are nearby. Private employee parking next door.

Let me start by saying, the rooms are great here but for $200 a night they better be. It was the waitress and counter staff the next morning that makes me mark this down. We sat in the dining room at our table watching the waitress go around from table to table, ignoring us. After 15 minutes I went up and asked for 3 menus. 15 minutes after I sat back down we left. Waitress still hadn't come to our table, and for the prices they charge for their food, you would expect to notch service. So then I go to check out and there was nobody at the desk. 10 minutes later she appears and apologized for the wait saying she wouldn't get any help until later. Again for the price of the room I expect better customer service. I can be ignored for a lot less money.

Perfect place from which to explore Columbus and surrounding areas such as Brown County state Park and Nashville.

I am in Columbus Indiana for a work trip. This hotel was booked for part of my stay so I could not book my full stay at this hotel. I booked part of my stay at a different hotel. Hotel check out was 11am at the other hotel and check in at this hotel is 3pm. If it wasn’t for Mandy at the front desk of Hotel Indigo, I would’ve have nowhere to go for a few hours. Even with a wedding party at the hotel, she accommodated me earlier so I can get into a room. She was very helpful and very informative. I’m only giving it a four-star because I do feel like parts of the hotel is kind of still old looking. You can tell they tried to renovate but certain things wasn’t. All in all though, this hotel is located downtown & convenient to everything.

Our stay was very pleasant and the front desk was friendly. The rooms are exceptionally clean and it was peaceful and quiet. They do a very lavish breakfast, better than Hampton Inn or Marriott. All in all it was a great find and would stay here again.

Their customer service was excellent! We had an air conditioning problem and they were on it, then switched our room because it couldn’t be fixed. I didn’t catch the name of the person helping us but she was top notch!

Nice rooms great service

What a clean, quiet, and fun hotel so close to the quaint downtown of Columbus. Kimberly was so helpful in checking us in and giving us restaurant suggestions and John, bartender, has a wells stocked selection. And who could not love the house dog, Trip? This is our new stop along our route to ATL and back.

I love this hotel the breakfast was not great. Burned everything that day. But the rooms were perfected wanted to take the bed home.

Best place to stay if you are a Cummins employee or contractor. It's a walk away from everything

The breakfast on Sat morn. Was off the chain. They made a fresh hot variety of delicious food along with about anything you could wish for at a breakfast table! My daughter bit my hand and snarled at me when she had eaten all hers and eventually smelled mine! CRAZY GOOD!

Business Professional Women's recently held our State Convention at the Hotel Indigo. Ashleigh, Mandy and entire staff were AWESOME! Their dedication and service to our organization from the planning stages to the event was outstanding. Their rooms are welcoming, spacious and inviting. Thank you for a great experience!

Okay… the hotel is gorgeous and clean, located near great food and has an incredibly kind staff, including a cute doggo who greets guests at the door. My issue came when I laid down to sleep and realized that there’s a train track that runs the length of the hotel- as a light sleeper this was bad news for me. I counted 4 trains that came through the one night I stayed. I would not recommend for light sleepers.

So close to Upland. And a quick drive to Cummins buildings. Some room features are getting worn, but overall a neat place.

Very nice hotel in downtown Columbus. It has a bit more modern feel to it. The rooms are clean and spacious. Tripp the hotel dog is a super cool dude. Also across from bars and restaurants and the park.

Trip the dog. Friendly employees (extra nice when you’re there for a stretch). Good location. Close to work (for me). Did I mention the dog? Great place. Will be back.

Very friendly, Great Breakfast. Only drawback is religious meetings downstairs always have someone acting like a creeper at the door. Do their members not know where ALL their meetings are held?

Close to local restaurants, room was way nicer than I expected, continental breakfast free of charge in the morning, although limited menu. Free parking.

Poor breakfast. Over-priced. Convenient to center of town, but easy to stay a short distance away and pay much less.

We had a King suite with livingroom and a balconey it was very Spacious and the bed was so Comfy, they have a indoor pool & hot tub, free breakfast and pet friendy! Lots of good places to eat within a five minute walk! We loved pur stay and will go back for sure!

Staff were extremely nice, but I would have expected better from IHG.
There were no hot water in the morning, was eating breakfast and noticed that the bread was rotten.

This is not your typical IHG facility. Located one block from several great places to eat, a local movie house and within an easy walk to multiple architectural sites, this is a great place to stay. Visited friends twice as they stayed at the hotel. Rooms are spacious. Presidential Suites have a very small, private balcony that is fun to enjoy a cigar and beverages while winding down. Bathrooms are updated and spacious. Overall, it is a comfortable place to stay, IMHO.

Were in town with a bball team and all stayed for the night. Hotel indigo went went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs! Thanks!

Got up and made me coffee at 3: 30am just to be spry for my race. Rooms are very nice. Best hotel in town.

I have never stayed in this brand of hotel before and I never will again. While the staff is nice they are not really helpful. The hotel has a roach problem and the staff of course makes it like they have never seen a bug there at all. I took pictures and videos of roaches crawling on the wall. The first time I seen one the staff was very helpful in moving me and trying to help. The 2nd time. I literally had to go sleep in my car for the staff to be attentive to my concerns. I was told I wouldnt be able to move until Sunday because they were sold out. (It's Thursday) while getting settled in my car I got a knock on my car that there mysteriously was a room available. While it a very beautiful and spacious. The bugs makes the place e horrible to me.

My extended stay at hotel Indigo Columbus has been the best ever! Staff are super helpful and friendly. I love my room and feel safe no matter what time of the day or night that I return. The hot breakfast is good. The pool room has been my respite. I'm hoping to get in the fitness room soon. I love the ability to walk to local parks, food and small town fun in just a few blocks. This hotel is less than an hour from Indianapolis. There is a premium outlet mall one exit away. My absolute favorite thing about this hotel is their love for your fur babies. As clean and quiet as this hotel is I am amazed at the number and variety of dog breeds and parents I've met. Great job Hotel Indigo. I'd recommend anyone I love to spend time here!

I love Hotel Indigo! The room was spacious and had a balcony. Breakfast during COVID, excellent. There are lots of restaurants nearby and fantastic architectural treasures.

The hotel was very clean and modern. We enjoyed the hot tub and small pool. The breakfast was fine. The only complaint was my husband's new shirt was snagged and ruined on a rough edge of the room desk. We told the girl at the front desk when checking out. Hopefully this will be repaired before other guests arrive.

This was my second stay in this very fun and trendy hotel in quiet downtown Columbus. Recently spent five nights on the road and stayed in four hotels - this one was the best over-all. Clean and quiet. And, there's a complementary continental breakfast bar (nice selection, but the scrambled eggs were chewy). We were really sad to learn that Miles the Lobby Dog had passed away the day before out stay. The front desk staff also gave us great recommendations for local restaurants (there are more than I expected in the town of this size).

Kimberli is amazing at this location. Goes above and beyond customer service. The manager Mandy is always helpful and knows the full meaning of hospitality. Great food always thanks to Mikey and Kimberli. Love staying here!

Best hotel due to attention to details. Beautiful property between a great park with 2 lakes, bridges, trails, and the other side is a walkable downtown. Great bartender and staff, full snack selection, goldfish that can stay in your room, 12p check out, board games, nice group sitting areas, clean large accessible room and accessible paths to park and downtown. Most hotels have removed amenities blaming the pandemic. It feels like this hotel took the opposite approach by doing a little more in every way they could imagine. Very cool.

Way to expensive for the service, the room was nice, but rented the room to take the kids swimming, the pool isnt as big as what it looks n their pictures online.and isnt that deep.

This was my first time to stay at a Hotel Indigo. It is a very unique place to stay. Our room and bathroom were quite spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, and the entire place was very clean and well maintained.

Loved it! Pure class in furniture and decor. Large rooms, shower, comfortable bed. Nice pool and a hot tub that is actually working! Great breakfast buffet with hot items! Very friendly staff and the cutest doggie in the lobby! I wish they were everywhere!

Immaculate, nice and accommodating staff, super clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, awesome showers. Can't ask for much more. The location is perfect.

Amazing stay! We checked in at 3am after driving for 15 hours. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, spacious and comfy! The best part was Miles - the hotel doggie! A must stay for sure!:)

Staff was so very kind and helpful! The room was completely different from any other hotel room I've ever had and was very nice and clean. Definitely will be coming back with my toddler to stay again in the near future!

Loved walking in and being greeted by Miles the dog, so cute! We loved that our sweet boy Levi was welcome. Very nice and clean rooms! The front desk staff was so nice and gave us suggestions for dinner! Glad we were able to stay here! We will definitely come again!

Great hotel ideally located in Columbus downtown. Super friendly and helpful staff, fabulous rooms, and bonus of a resident dog, a super friendly and hypoallergenic.

Highly recommend this hotel.

Clean inside the room. Love the shower set up. Strong water pressure and independent/handle shower head. Bed was very soft. Smaller pillows but plentiful.
Soft water feels like the soap is difficult to remove.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was extra per person every morning.
If you go for baseball ssns have an early game you will not be able to take advantage. They did grab us fruit and cereal bars. McDonald's is right around the corner.
I left behind a pair I'd baseball pants and they did find them and sent them back for the extra shipping I paid.
I must say this.this is a pet friendly establishment. There will be a dog in the lobby. Like sleeping while you check in.

This is such a cute hotel. It was clean, had everything we needed plus more. Miles is a sweet, fluffy dog and we even got a hotel beta fish to stay in our room with us. My kids thought that was so cool! Stephen was very helpful with check- in and throughout my family's stay.

Sorry cute hotel. It's the only hotel I know of that let's you take a fish to your room. They also have a resident dog named miles.

Beautiful hotel, very fancy, great aesthetic. Took off a star just because it didn't have free breakfast like most other IHG hotels.
