Spoon River Animal Clinic

Spoon River Animal Clinic was recommended to me from several coworkers after I had a poor experience with my former vet. Though they're a little more expensive, the level of care and consideration provided far exceeds my former vet, and I feel the cost is 100% worth it. All of the staff are helpful, and whichever vet I see always answers my questions with knowledgeable information.

Everyone here was amazing! Dr. Sarah and the nurse were very informative, and were excellent at helping me find future treatment!

My family and I have been taking our animals here for decades. Quick scheduling and quick service from the waiting room to the exam room. Friendly staff and communicative vet. The front desk employees are very welcoming, and I love the desk cat.

The Drs.and staff are kind, caring and compassionate. Dr. Hahn keeps up with veterinary medcine and treatment is up to todays standards. What makes them the best is the fact they all care about your animals quality of life!

My parents had our family pets with SRAC in Canton and I as an adult have had my cat with them for 13 and a half years. They are very caring and do everything they can to help your furbabies. I'm very pleased with them and the services they provide for my baby when he needs to go in to be seen. They are very attentive to his needs and his issues. I highly recommend Spoon River Animal Clinic, hands down they are amazing people and truly care about your little furry family member.

I first was introduced to Spoon River Animal Clinic when I adopted my beautiful Duke an Australian shepherd that they got brought in from being dumped and had been abused. A kudos to them for saving him and giving me the opportunity to adopt my Heart dog. Sorry that I only had him for two years due to lymphoma that they were there for him till the end. I now have a mini Australian Shepherd and they are his veterinary clinic that will be with us for years to come. Friendly staff from check-in to check-out. Dr. Sarah is always easy to talk with and so gentle with my pets.

The staff are very caring. They will treat your animals as their own. Wonderful care close to home.

The best care comes from spoon river animal clinic. My dog sky in July got out and ran away. She was hit by a car and was left or ran away from the scene. When she walked home she was bruised and her back leg was broken. She was also very skinny. I called spoon river animal clinic and asked sincerely if I could bring her in. The on call vet stayed late just to see her. I couldn’t ask for a better local vet than spoon river!

I very rarely give a perfect 5 star evaluation. That being said, I felt a real confidence from everyone. From the initial phone call to the end of the initial visit. Everyone was caring and friendly and above all professional. I really appreciated the honesty from the doctor about some issues that we discussed.

We have always taken our pets to them and the one time we did not was a mistake. The staff are always friendly!

The veterinarians and staff are great. They always take wonderful care of my 2 small dogs. Plus we never have an issue getting in. I chose this clinic also because they offer 24 hour on call service as long as your pet is a patient there. That is a real plus for me!

They got my daughters cat into to see Jacob standard asap cause he was chasing a bat the night bfore.thanks again for the fast service

This is a great place to take your fur babies. The staff is great and Dr. Hahn and Dr. Sara are wonderful vets. I guess if I had a nit pick it would be it's a little expensive but you get what you pay for and I always feel like our pets are in great hands!

Full disclosure: My cat is a DIVA & does NOT like going to the vet, being in a cat carrier, or riding in the car AT ALL! But the entire staff at Spoon River Animal Clinic makes it all worth it! They understand that this process can be stressful for both the animals & their humans, and do everything they can to put everyone at ease. The only negative thing I can mention is that the wait times can be longer during a Saturday appointment. However, that's not unexpected given the number of patients and the personal attention given to each one.

It's ok. Drs.are all very nice. Seem to be in and out very fast. The vet Tech Kaitlyn knows her job! Super sweet and makes sure she had explained everything and LISTENS to every question and every concern. Other vet tech not so thorough. Kinda like the drs.in and out! The only 3 complaints I really have are.
1. I asked to see 1 vet and only 1 vet. Out of the 4 visits I've made in the last few months I have seen 3 different vets (only seeing 1 twice)
2. I always call to see what kinda money I need to bring. Everytime I've been there they have given me a quote but when it comes time to pay it's anywhere from 40 to 80 more than I was quoted.
3.1 of the front desk ladies is RUDE.

They're a wonderful staff to deal with, also the place is professional to deal with all around but relaxed in how they meet you & explain things. It help whether it's little or big stuff, especially if you stress for your pets when a vet is involved.

Very nice employees. Friendly and helped with my bearded dragon. Surprised they handled him so well and he let them. He doesn't like many people and the vet took great care of him.

They always get my pets in when needed. They truly care I've never had the feeling its just a job from the vets, techs or girls out front (the glue that keeps everything going). They all truly want to make a difference in you and your pets life!

A little slow acknowledging your presence there to check you in and out, but all in all a friendly environment. Only my second time going there so we shall see.

We took our 12 + year old Chihuahua. We thought this might be the end, but Dr. Hahn treated her with the utmost care, and we found out a med change should take care of it. Thank You!

I had an issue with my cat that needed an emergency visit and they were able to get me in that day. They explained everything very well, they were very kind, and the visit was relatively fast. 30 days and a check-up later and everything is good and my boy is nice and healthy:)

Every vet is always expensive but all of the employees are friendly and know how to take good care of my anxious cat.

They were able to get our cat in first thing when he was having trouble with crystals in his bladder and got him on the correct food to where he's only a little bit of a butt now.

Called to make appt for my dog to get his nails trimmed and Brandi got us an appt super quick and everything went so smoothly. Very grateful they got him in so fast

I LOVE this vet. They always get me in super quickly. Called them to get one of my cats an appointment and they got me in that very day! All staff are super friendly and caring.

Didn't prescribe pain killers for our seriously injured rabbit and the next vet we took him to because they couldn't help him was so upset and let us know our rabbit was in a lot of pain. They almost charged for two x-rays instead of one, but we caught it and they refunded one, and they didn't catch that he was sick as well. I wish so much I could give them a good review, and I wish them all the best, but I wouldn't recommend them.

Highly recommend! My vet was out of the office so I took my dog to them because she was sick. Dr Kelso, her tech Cara, and the staff were amazing with us! They kept me updated and was so good to my Bella! Very respectful and their prices are very reasonable!

Was very professional, don't remember the vets name, a gal, but she was very professional and the cat wasn't even scared
