The hotel was nice and well kept we had a great time and for our booking to be last min it was a great experience

5 days in this nightmare, I called for a cover to the front desk.the answer for the hotel was: go outside of your room and look by yourself with housekeeping.
In those days, they never cleaned my room because because they were doing this service before 10am,

Quaint hotel for rest in between driving. Clean. Great customer service. Very comfortable beds. Affordable.

Place super sketchy, homeless roaming around, definitely not recommended, whole place smells like cigarette smoke & weed! They charged me $220 + tax for queen size been & Jacuzzi! Unbelievable this is definitely worth like $60 a night not $220 STAY AWAY!

This Inn is a work in progress. We could tell they had been remodeling the whole place. Our room was ok, but it needed a little more work.

They went above and beyond to improve their customer service ability. However if you are looking for a top class hotel this is not it. Cleanliness is a low 1 star but customer service is at its highest. They did everything possible for a refund and was greatly appreciated.

I got two beds non smoking room but the smell of cigarette was incredible, the bathroom to simple sight looked clean but when you entered to shower has mold in the curtain, hair dryer and phone not working, everything look old and dirty we were tired and we didn’t want go late night to another hotel, in the morning went for breakfast and we couldn’t eat anything all jars, and everything in the buffet was so dirty doesn’t look sanitary at all the only thing that I can say good of this place was the people on the lobby they were so nice and polite.

The manager CATHY us absolutely HORRENDOUS! She should never, ever be working with human kind! My fiancé & I booked a room for early morning until the afternoon, and we asked for a little bit of extra time (20-30 minutes) to be able to get our children ready to go to the HOSPITAL to visit our family while we are in Bolingbrook. We told her this, and she said “I’ll go ahead and cancel your stay then because I’m not giving you extra time, and I don’t care what your story is. ” …. DISGUSTING! TERRIBLE! FIRE HER IMMEDIATELY SAM! (the owner)

My bed was never made, service was quite poor, and they never told us when breakfast was.
Furthermore, it's just a rugged, dirty, beat-down hotel. The gym doors lock wouldn't open, and no one would fix it. If it was a room door they'd fix it immediately, but since it's the gym and one less thing to clean it wasn't unlocked. I usually never leave reviews, but this is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in.

So typically when ‘someone’ books a room I typically do a whole background check and look into the hotel. Sadly to be nice I agreed to go to this hotel and this time after being shown nice pictures of a room in Naperville.

First this hotel is not in Naperville nor is it nice. As someone who has worked in property management in the past I am utterly disgusted at the owners. The owners are sadly people whom you can tell bought a property and do not have a proper staff keeping the place up. This is such a beautiful property but sadly the owners are not maintaining the property and most likely do not hire the much needed staff needed to maintain this property.

If you do not have the skill set to properly clean you need to hire out. Believe it or not cleaning is a valuable trade and skill. It might sound hard to believe some people cannot clean even mirrors. The family who owns this place obviously can not properly clean in a commercial setting.

Where do I begin…. Check in was smooth you can see the breakfast area hasn’t been used properly in a while. You can see a space heater out front as well and to see that unplugged and just tipped over sideways makes the place look bad.

The elevator sounds horrible once you step in it sounds like it’s going to fall apart.

The rooms are in horrible shape. I got the suite and it looks like it was a well thought out room but it was run down.

Spiderwebs everywhere and I mean long cob webs with pop caps on the couch and a dirty table.

This place has not looked like it’s been cleaned in a while.

The suite has two heaters and the main heater is dirty on the inside and does not heat up properly at all. The fireplace heater actually does emit heat but yeah the place is in bad shape.

I highly recommend the owner look into property management to take over operations here at this hotel. That will cut into your bottom line and you might see that as a loss BUT that’s the problem with owners who are cheap. You are currently losing out in potential consumers and having to have a lower rate.

Your clientele are either

* Drug Addicts
* People on hard times
* People who looked at the pictures thinking they are getting a nice hotel

If you get proper staff AND management with this area you can turn this hotel around and bring in a higher class of customer.

Currently as it stands this hotel has no future, and is falling apart and I wouldn’t be shocked if this hotel was on the local police watch list for various crimes.

Get a proper management team owners, you’re only hurting yourself by being cheap not hiring the proper staff to manage and take care of this property.

I checked out early there was no way I was staying at this place we didn’t even ask for refund. Hopefully my comments will inspire you to work with a proper property management company and allow you to take your business to the next level!

Stay away from this place like the plague. Absolutely disgusting and smelly. From torn bedding to stained ceilings & lamps, dust & dirt in between cracks of the bed frame, brown stains on the phone, bathtub was dirty. I spoke w/the manager about this too. And before anyone replies, I do have the right place because I came here on a business trip w/some of my co-workers. Wasn’t under my name though. There’s nothing quality about this place.

Be warned: this hotel has a serious molding issue in at least Room 106. We had to check out without refund.

Pros: cheap, good location

Cons: cheap, dirty, literally had mold on the walls.

Staff is very friendly the rooms are very clean, quiet. So I had a great stay. Clean laundry side and clean lobby.

Location is the only positive. The Wi-Fi was unbelievably slow and made work impossible. I got faster speeds at the McDonald’s down the street. You’ll get one may 2 towels max. Beds are very uncomfortable. After reading the owner responses to other complaints it very clear that they do not care as the same issues are constantly being stated by multiple people over and over again. Lobby was cluttered, gym was cluttered and dirty. Had booked for multiple nights but only spent one as the conditions are not good. Found another option in Oswego for less $$ and a much higher rating.

One word to describe this place is nasty! Does not even deserve 1 star. Rooms are dirty, shower didn’t work, and the comforter was ripped. The picture that are online are a complete joke, you go in thinking it’s going to be a nice clean place and you arrive to the complete opposite. Do not stay here!

The rooms are absolutely filthy. Uncomfortable beds and looks like they haven’t cleaned the room in months. Also the place smelled like cigarette smoke and later in the evening we could smell freshly burnt marijuana. The property was also littered with garbage and all of the trash cans were overflowing. Avoid at all costs! To top it all off our semi was ticketed for parking in the street. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere that actually cares about running a viable business.

Would not stay here. Rooms are filthy. Questionable stains everywhere. Somehow Cost 150$ with tax. We walked into our room and immediately left. Glitter and white stains all over chair, and a red stain on the curtains. Room smelled like mold and cigarette smoke.

Does not deserve a 1 star. The pictures do not correctly depict the awful conditions of this hotel. It was very dirty. There were bugs crawling on my children as they lay on the bed that was claimed to be a queen bed and it was not. There were bugs crawling on the toilet. The manager was never available and to fix the bug problem one of the staff came and sprayed around the toilet and wanted to spray the bed that we had to sleep in. Is this for real? The garbage cans around the building were overflowing with garbage and garbage was blowing around the premises. When I canceled for the second night stay, I too was told by the manager, (whom was extremely rude and does not care about his guests only the money) ; that he would not refund me even due to the whole bug situation, of which I have pictures of. There was no continental breakfast, unless you like bugs then there was plenty! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Booked business travel for my wife. People were screaming and slamming doors in the middle of the night (first floor room so they can't say they weren't aware of it). Nothing done about it.

Attempted to checkout and cancel remaining reservation to a better location and manager refused to accommodate.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this location if you can.

I wish I had the opportunity to leave zero stars this was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at the sink in the bathroom did not drain nightstand drawers did not open fully there was horrible patch jobs on the walls inside of the room the tall lamp to the right of the closet was broken when you turned it on and it flickered but the light bulb was literally hanging down there was black mold on the caulking in the tub I'm sure I can make this list go on and on I called the next day after leaving after two - three hours because of nonworking plumbing and I had nothing but attitude from the manager did not care what I had to say came up with excuses for everything just an absolute horrible experience I will never return to this location and I suggest none of you ever give this place your money if there was better customer service I honestly would've gave them a good review but because of all the issues and horrible customer service on top of that, that is why they are receiving this review do not stay here

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night. The check in was fast. The receptionist that evening could smile a little. I didn't feel the welcome vibe that I received the following morning. The morning receptionists were more welcoming.
Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. They have coffee at the lobby 24 hours which is nice. Their wi-fi is free and very strong. Parking is also free. This is a very nice, affordable hotel.

I had canceled reservation. I was charged on my credit card. When i had called the general manager, he said since i didn't cancel with him, it wasn't canceled. I then find out that they let someone else stay in the room I paid for. The general manager is rude beyond belief. I asked for a refund, but he refused to give me my refund. Instead I accepted a comp stay. When I tried to book my free night stay, he said he can't do anything about it.

Our room was very clean.per our request front desk staff put everything inside. Friendly front desk staff. We will stay in this hotel as soon as possible, when we come here for another concert. Enjoyable experience. Excellent hotel location.

Don’t stay and not family hotel. I book this hotel for may 4 2022. I checked in and went my room. Room was dirty. Sink was broken and had cracks. Bed sheets had cigratte holes and dark spot on it. Room smells like cigratte. I went to front desk I. 5 mins. And tell them to cancle my booking and I need refund. Manager told me to call quality inn customer center and manager talk to them. Manager said he gave my refund. Now it’s up to my bank. It’s been 3 week. I haven’t received my $81.75 refund from this hotel. I complaint to quality inn corporate hotel for further action. Waiting for reply form owner.

One of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Booked a 4 night stay and check out early due to how dirty the room was. When we asked for a refund for the nights we weren’t staying, prices were retroactively raised to the max for the nights we did stay. We tried to check out early multiple times but the front desk couldn’t help and we had to wait for the manager. He was always to be there in an hour or two but never came.

Only reason to give them a 1 star is because the beds are actually comfortable. However, you have to get pass the fact of how dirty it is. I can guarantee our room was not cleaned between guests. There was hair and pee behind the toilet, hair and shampoo scum in the shower, coffee stains and toothpaste in the sink, and our ice bucket had water and trash in it. The floors weren't vacuumed and there were stains on all the bedding. Some that could have been removed. There wasn't really anything for breakfast. For the money, it was a disappointment.

Entire place is amazing and feels so cozy and just good in general. Especially the rooms which are large and luxurious, loved this place. I couldn’t even describe how GOOD their were free breakfast Hot coffee available 24/7.

I always prefer this hotel, feel like a home. Very pleasant experience before and after stay. Helpful staff serving right a way. Try to accommodate as per availability. Always good to recommend.

I would like to put 0 stars. The front desk guy was asleep in the lobby when we arrived. The room reeked of cigarettes and had a dirty ashtray. Honestly everything was DISGUSTING. The sheets were dirty with burn holes, the bed skirt had bodily fluids in it. The chairs were ripped and duct taped together. The mirror and bathroom door was broken. The bathroom ceiling was moldy. We left immediately. And had to argue with management to get a refund. They tried to make me feel bad that they would be charged by the credit card company.

Whole hotel smells heavy of cigarette smoke. Stained bed set, duct tape on the bathtub. Fire alarm went off at 1am and everyone had to evacuate. Once the hotel was cleared I went back in and told them I’m leaving, was denied a refund. So I checked out and took the loss. Never coming back.

Excellent stay. Very nice people and kindly staff. I always come here. Room was clean and large size, very roomy, and working cond. Happy to stay.

This place is absolutely disgusting and a complete scam, they stole money from us and refused to give us a refund. They fill their own reviews with reviews they’ve written themselves to keep their rating up. I feel bad for choice hotels to have to put up with their lying and rude behavior to customers. I’m sure they’ll write a response on here saying sorry for your experience but they really aren’t sorry because they just scammed you out of $96. Sleeping outside would be a better choice than staying here.

COMPLETE SCAM

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures on their website. They lied and said we would get a refund after we left due to how disgusting the room was. They do not clean the rooms and the staff is rude. They also did this to our friends who were going to stay as well. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We found a half smoked joint in our room and the hotel smelled of weed. This place is a scam.

Nice staff and convenient location HOWEVER the hotel/rooms are outdated, had several broken things in the room, dusty/dirty, cleanliness is questionable.
My cousins’ room refrigerator smelled gross when opened and their tv had no remote. We didnt feel comfortable using the showers. The beds were actually ok and decently comfortable but there werent enough pillows. The rooms smelled of cigarettes even though they were nonsmoking. The elevator made weird noises/jerks which was unsettling.
We only stayed one night which was more than enough, and we over paid for it. We definitely would not return without many major overhauls. The lack of care/maintenance of this property is sad.

Do NOT stay at this hotel. Our family has two small children and we checked in to find a room with mold as well as a deadbolt lock that was not functional/broken in our room. The bed also had a very questionable brown stain. We refused to stay here and you should not book at this place.

I don't know who is giving this hotel a 5/5 but we clearly weren't at the same place. This place is gross and uncomfortable. We didn't even end up staying there. We walked in and the lobby smelled like weed, nice touch. We got to our room and it wasn't what was promised by ANY means. It smelled, it was dirty, and it was just disgusting. I didn't want to even sit on the dirty bed, let alone thinking about sleeping in it. We didn't even stay in the room for 10 minutes before checking the heck out of there. 0/10 would recommend.

This hotel was extremely bad when I went to check in they told me I had 2 rooms booked and I told them I wanted the room that was for the 1 thru the 4th with whirlpool. Then when he charged me it was for the most expensive room They had which was not what my reservation was for. Then the next morning we tried to make coffee and the coffee maker didn't work thank goodness. When I looked in the water reservoir it was filthy. Then we where getting ready to go out for the day ran the water in bathroom sink it was clogged. We left and came back and the card reader on our door did not work and we told him but no one fixed it. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel that over charged me from what my actual reservation was and didn't accommodate will never stay there again and probably any choice hotel.

Staff was friendly. But my comforter was torn and missing a lot of stuffing and there was black mold growing on the ceiling, in the air conditoner, and the bathroom.

This place is a dump. For starters you walk in and I was greeted by the most cold and unfriendly reception person I’ve ever encounter at a hotel. Not to mention she was wearing her wal greens uniform? Was really odd. Then in my room the Tv doesn’t even work. All the walls are thing and you can hear almost the whole hallway at times. This place seems to attract a particular type of people and it’s the kind of place that even with a card lock. I double locked my door because was worried would have stuff stolen. Don’t stay here.

To many holes in the ceiling torn or peeling wall paper with holes also in the walls also bathroom mildew in the caulking

(4005 Gabrielle Lane, Aurora, IL. 60504) on 10/8/2021.1) White crust like substance on TV stand, TV stand, coffee pot and every other surface in the room was dusty. (Photos attached)

2) TV remote batteries were dead (no big deal), took the remote to the front desk. Was told "the remote was locked" because a screwdriver was required to remove the batteries. I informed the front desk clerk that he just needed a screwdriver, he told me "I will bring the remote back to your room in a few minutes" (again, not a problem)
10 minutes later he brings the remote back and says "I'm not sure if it will work, because I didn't have any new batteries, I just had to grab some out of the drawer" (once again, not a big deal) - remote still did not work.

3) Brown sticky substance on bedside table and wall. (Photo attached)

4) Actual dirt in the bed under the pillows

5) "Complementary" soaps and shampoo in the bathroom had been previously used. Meaning the bathroom had not been cleaned (photo attached)

6) Black mold in corner beside AC unit. (Photo attached) there was also mold growing out of the seam of the wallpaper a few feet away. You realize this could make someone seriously ill right?

7) Fitness center was not available for use as it was advertised.

8) There was no breakfast items available in the lobby as advertised

And my last issue - I spent a total of 1.5 hrs on the phone with Choice Hotels customer service and was told that I couldn't be refunded by them, that they could only offer me points.

I dont know about you, but if I pay for a clean fully functional hotel room, access to a fitness center, and a breakfast, I expect to get those things. If those things cannot be delivered upon as promised, why should I have to pay for that?

I checked in after 11pm, and was not about to spend more money and time finding a different place to stay for the night.

The issues mentioned above are far beyond anything I have ever experienced in any other hotel my life

My complex is getting remodeled so this place was commendated to me and my kids and in our room above the mirror is a crack pipe. NEVER AGAIN!

Myself and descendant perspicacity involvement within our stay at this hotel was very lamentable

Disgusting! Dirty, stinky, bugs, dirty microwave, doesn't look like they ever clean the bathroom! Will never go back there!

The manager is rude the place is absolutely disgusting on the inside and when we tried to talk to them about it they got defensive with us and yelling saying we were rude to them. We walked in the place and it smelt like weed and when we told them they said it was the car outside that smells and not the lobby. Tried to get a refund for the room and they told us they could only give us 50 percent back. Do not go to the hotel. The Hilton down the street is way nicer and cleaner.

When I arrived it was to find the desk help sleeping in the lobby. It was 6: 15 am check-in and breakfast wasn't even started. Not even hot coffee. I used the late check-out option and thankfully it was accepted after a call to the manager. The room was orderly, however the air conditioner wasn't functional and there was no tissues. Still getting over my second Covid vaccine shot my nose wouldn't stop running.
The room seemed clean and the rest of the appliances were in working order. This is one branch I would recommend passing on though as it was in desperate need of a facelift. It was quiet and looked mostly empty but it was a Sunday night. Good access to the Interstate was the main draw for my stay. Two stars is being generous.

If I could give this place no stars I would! I was booking it for someone. Don’t even get me started with the process of booking. It’s super sketchy and they are not professional, they were rude and the place is so disgusting and dirty nothing like the pictures! As I was booking 2 gentlemen came down to demand a refund and I’m so glad that happened! Cause they told me that everything was a scam and the room was a complete mess. So I didn’t book it at all. They also kick you out if you change your mind about booking. Don’t consider this place a choice!

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever! Stay away! We made a reservation and showed up the place was nothing like the pictures at all I walked and stayed in the lobby for over a half hour nobody was there to check us in at 5 in the afternoon. We then called multiple times and nobody answered! We then had to call choice hotels who owns quality inn who said they would not be able give us a refund without approval from the on site manager. After two weeks of trying to reach the manager we finnally were able to make contact with him and he cursed us out and said we were lying! Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!

The worse stay I have ever had in a hotel. The shower didn’t work at all the bathtub was so dirty wouldn’t have used it anyway, the guest before left his frozen peas in the freezer, bathroom mirror was all splattered from the previous guest along with pee on the toilet, toilet paper holder wouldn’t hold the paper it kept falling off, the smoke from cigarettes & weed was so overwhelming, the door on the side of the hotel stays propped open with a rock so anyone can come in the hotel that wants to. Not a secure hotel & safety is an issue here. The only positive was at least I didn’t see any bed bugs. Will never go back here!

Facility is older and not maintained well. Clean enough but items such as AC are on their last leg.

Excellent stay. Nice and cool room. People were nice and helpful staff. It was close to my event and everything work out good for me. Location was perfect. No problem at all. I would like to recommend this hotel. This is really fair review for me. After i read all reviews.

We got in late due to a concert in town. Within 30 mins we left.here's why.

First off, I should've just cancelled the reservation when I got a call back after I placed the reservation online being YELLED at that they can't hold my room because my card declined (2/which was a simple mistake because I typed a number in wrong) so from the moment BEFORE I even checked in, I feel I was treated rudely but because there was literally NO OTHER hotels available I went ahead to keep reservation

-we come in a little after 1130 check in just fine, arrive to our room, everything is unplugged, the ac would not cool the room down at all on a 90 degree evening and there was specks of dirt ALL OVER the bed. Very dirty. The tv did not work, we call the attendant and didn't get any response or interest to even help us fix the problem.

Overall l not at all worth the 185 we paid for the room, probably won't get a refund but at least I'm not bringing home bed bugs. STAY FAR AWAY

Wish I read all these reviews before booking and wasting money and time

Had to switch rooms 3X the smell was disgusting in the first two even the 3rd room smell was funky but not as bad. Room was dirty and in disrepair sheets looked like someone had slept in them once already. If it wasn't so late at night I would have left and stayed somewhere else
