Dont take a loan with them. Terrible service. I paid off my auto loan and they never sent me the title. When i complained they made me go to the DMV myself to fix it. Cost me $50. Never taking another loan with them.

Be very very careful at this bank. We’re getting a loan they will sign you up for a special insurance and they will take it out of your account secretly if you don’t click on the account to see also be very careful they send you our debit cards before your debit card is even expired and all someone has to do is pick up the phone to activate it. Also, when you come to the bank, they will tell you that their system is down. They can take your check to deposit later but they cannot give you cash be aware.

Great place for all your loan needs. I financed 3 motorcycles with Numark over the years and I am very happy with the service and the loans. I will definitely continue being the customer.

I worked with Nicole on a loan for a vehicle. I was in and out so quick. Numark and Nicole saved me hours of haggling at a dealership. I highly recommend going with them next time you’re looking to finance a vehicle.

I had a great experience with refinancing my truck. It was quick and painless. Courtney Rosalez was wonderful she made me feel so comfortable. I would definitely recommend to do business with Numark bank and request Courtney.

They do not have great customer service. They don’t return calls when they say they will.when you directly talk to someone saying they will call you back nothing!

They are charging my account for saying I don’t have insurance when I have never lapsed insurance ever! I am being charged monthly $90 each month $360 saying I don’t have insurance. My insurance company hasn’t sent out my statements for months. I have been doing business with you for over a year.

I want all these charges off my account.you don’t respond to my emails.

Used to have great customer service. Would greet you by name. Now, I don't recognize anyone. Had a hassle trying to deposit my tax refund check so went to another bank who was happy to take my money. Update, today I went in and they couldn't find my 6 accounts and a manager finally found them. I have been with them for over 30 years. When it was Northstar everyone knew my name and I knew theirs.

I was happy customer when this place operated by NorthStart Credit Union (especially Matt Bretz was exceptionally supportive and caring). Since Jan 2021 (for 5 months), I could not talk to Numark representative. Tried all possible ways to communicate. They do not answer calls, online chats and emails. I will refinance and move away from them.

Update: I was contacted by NuMark representative and was informed that they are resolving the issue caused due to pandemic and transition. I believe that they will be successful in this. They are also working on project to start reporting loans to Experian, which was not the case before merging of NSCU and NuMark.

What a shame. This used to be a good place to bank. Something definitely broke. CHanged for the worst. I dont know what Numark's policies are but the customer service went down the drain. I hear many people will move away from the bank. I am actually thinking of moving away too. Can never get a hold of someone and everything is difficult. I understand the merger was difficult but it is not the same.shame.

I’ve been trying to make a payment on my car loan since the bank got bought out. I’ve been calling and leaving messages but no call backs or anything. I’ve sent emails out too and still no response. Wish I could give them a. 5 star instead.

So far I have had to go in 2 x to access my account. Now I sent in a transfer of funds and still not showing up. I may have to close this up. I want to support local credit union but this is ridiculous.

Absolutely terrible. Seems like this mega bank bought up a small town credit union and can't even be bothered to answer the phone or reply to emails. I've been trying to call for over a week to access my account. Looks like I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Called this morning, and was waiting for 10 minutes for help. After listening to there ads for 10 minutes. Then listened to ringing for another 8 minutes I was prompted to leave a message!
This used to be a great customer service location in the small town of Winfield!
I just needed to get a 1099 for 2020!

I love. This Credit union! I got a car loan around feb before this epidemic started! Of course I contacted the CU and they worked with me to delay my payment! Very quick n Easy!

Bicki D helped us refinance our mortgage, and the process could not have gone more smoothly. She was prompt, responsive, returned our calls quickly, and let us know what to expect. The Credit Union offered a great rate and we closed on a good timeline. Five stars!

Have a loan through this company. Was not disclosed there was a PAPER STATEMENT FEE every month. You have to sign up for online banking on a loan that is auto paid? Ridiculous. $2.50 a month for 2 pieces of paper for a loan that has auto payment. I was charged twice and caught it thankfully. They did refund my fees that I was not told about. Honestly, that shady sneaky fee made me rethink this bank. If you are going to work with dealerships on loans you SHOULD be informing them and the customer about your fees. I don't understand why I need to sign up for online banking to save $2.50 a month on an auto payment! 2 stars for gving me the fees back but still NOT liking this bank or processes.

NSCU is an excellent Credit Union! The staff at the Warrenville main location are all five star employees [or they don't stay long]: friendly, courteous, kind, knowledgeable, and oriented toward community service. I have been banking with NSCU since it merged with the former Western Electric Credit Union (WECO) many years prior and could not be happier with their staff and services. Give 'em a try.:)

This credit union is terrible non-professional people work there and manager sarah is very rude i had a very bad experience and all the people leaving good reviews are the people who work there.

Amazing people, amazing service, and they treat you like family as soon as you enter their doors! I have my car loan through them, as well as a perosnal loan, and any issues I have, they are willing and enthusiastic to help with. Sarah is an amazing branch manager, and the girls on the teller line never fail to put a huge smile on my face. Everyone at NorthStar is incredibly friendly and banking with them is the least stressful event of any day- their online banking is very easy to use and I know if I have questions, I can call and get a person, not a machine!

After being here for years i can see i am just a number to this bank.i cannot recommend them i had a clash with a couple employees if i would of been able to get the loan i needed i wouldnt of had to file chapter 7.after 4 years and crabby woman as customer service fielding calls we had enough, we love our new bank.

I had this "bank" chosen to me by a car dealer.i haven't even made a payment yet and all I have to say it what a horrible set up everything is for them. Paying a payment isn't easy and if you pay online they charge you 10$+ what a bunch of crooks. Also if you want auto pay they need a voided check, its 2019 people don't have checks no more. Byee I'll be refinancing in a couple months to get away from this company
