Service, assistance and emotional support animals are not technically pets and owners do not have to pay pet fees!

Enjoy your discrimination lawsuit and I'll be sure to tell them you cancelled my room since I didn't want to pay your illegal fee!

I stay for 3 weeks and they schedule housekeeping without me knowing. So they came in my room when i wasnt there and i had all my valuables out. Whatever happened to privacy

I’ve been staying on and off for months and this location is excellent! Clean, wonderful staff and really good prices. The manager Marcel goes above and beyond daily to make the experience a professional and family- friendly one! Great job!

Room was dirty, refrigerator leaked water constantly all over contents and floor, built in microwave broken so instead of fix it replace, there's a cheapo microwave taking up the little counter space there is. Cheap coffee maker No one EVER at front desk. Could go on and on. Would not recommended

Perfect! Wish we could have stayed longer but a family er made us have to leave early. Was very clean and comfortable hotel.

Worst place to go to. No cleaning stuff so you have to clean your own room when you check in - I had to ask the front desk for the vacuum cleaner to vacuum my filthy carpet after I checked in.

They have charged me for another day after I checked out and I’m trying to get a refund. IMPOSSIBLE! Nobody there to talk to. Nobody cares, nobody calling me back or replying to emails.
Over the last three weeks I have been calling and trying to talk to the manager on duty almost DAILY and I am being ignored!
TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!
So many better, more professional and cleaner hotels in the area!

Terrible service. They are short staffed and didn't clean the room at all for 2 weeks for 2 rooms I rented. Then, when I came back they complained that I left the room too dirty and put me on a do not rent list. 2 rooms, 1/2 hr daily cleaning not provided for 14 days each, is 14hrs saved payroll of house cleaners, then they complained that it took longer to clean the usual. Completely unprofessional and unfair. They are conditioner also broke and didn't even work in one of the bedrooms the whole time, And the toilets did not flush And needed repair. Do not stay here. You'll regret it.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very polite and personable. There was plenty of parking and the hotel is situated out of the way in a great quiet location for events and dining. Our room was like a small apartment with all the amenities. I will definitely stay here if I am ever in the area again.

I wouldn't recommend unless you were desperate for a cheap hotel with a kitchenette. If you do, be prepared to clean the entire room yourself and spray for bugs. I'm travelling for business and had pretty low expectations, but even then I was disappointed. The dishes in the kitchen were dirty when I arrived. But the worst part was how many ants I had to deal with. I even bought ant traps and they were still everywhere. I had another two weeks booked after this initial booking that I cancelled because of my experience. There is no cleaning service currently offered because of low staffing, which wouldn't be so bad if the room was initially clean and free of ants when I checked in. The people who worked there were nice though.

The staff is rude and lacked knowledge! Chemical smells and strong weed smell. Filthy rooms. We checked in and checked out! Alexis refused to give us a refund and said she couldn’t call a manager because they were sick. Her response to weed, it’s legalized here! Told me to call Choice Hotels for a refund. After an hour on the phone they said the hotel has to give the refund. This place is so nasty, they should shut it down! Do not stay here!

If you are not a guest and not staying there they won’t allow you to use the restrooms and as a added bonus they locked the bathrooms.

This was by far the most disgusting hotel that I ever saw. I walked in and right out. I don't even know where to begin. First off, the entire floor smelled like weed. The furniture in the room had stains all over them. The bathroom wasn't cleaned and had long black hair in the shower. I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and book at a different hotel.

Ni e concept a little dated furniture was old tub had hair in it but I see what it used to be

Great Stay! Super clean room, attentive staff, only bad, the breakfast was not put out, and the coffee they offered was really weak.aside from that, wonderful stay.

I have been here for almost four years in an extreme extended stay situation. Since it’s switched from Hawthorn Suites, the staff is still amazing, but the new company is cheap and non responsive to customers needs. The “fitness” facilities are a joke and they refuse to update or replace broken equipment.

Flight was cancelled, so I had to find a hotel around O'Hare. The airline provided a flyer with discounted hotels, and this is the hotel that I booked. I was charged through a third party, and received a second charge from the hotel itself. I challenged the charge through my credit card company, and they are fighting me on this. Watch your credit card if you stay here! Also, I thought the room was not entirely cleaned before my stay, as the bathroom floor was gross!

The good reviews on here are bogus or had a 1/100000 stay. I travel for work and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There is never anyone at the front desk, half the time your key doesn't work, the staff has no idea what they are doing, and they do the bare minimum they have to. I wish I could single-handedly convince all of you not to stay there. I was there for 3 weeks (extended stay) and had too many problems to count. It is now owned by Windom but I still wouldn't stay there.

Clean and fresh room that I would recommend to any budget hotel user. Location is off the beaten path but quick on to a good cross street for a trip any where in north Chicago.

Half the staff wasn't helpful and the half that was, was not nice. The key cards would stop working all the time, and I would be locked out. Dishwasher flooded my room first day I was there. Room service left dirty socks in my room. Cleaning was not thorough and typically didn't come when I asked for it. Several times, bath towels had yellow stains that I didn't want to touch. Breakfast was never available due to "Covid" even though other hotels, including other MainStays suites, were able to provide it. These were just the larger items, and I could go on. Overall, I am very displeased. Only reason it wasn't a 1 was because it got better towards the end when some changes started to be made.

The rooms are super comfortable and the view was pretty nice from our suite. Highly recommend this hotel for tournaments!

Lots of bogus reviews. Someone referencing egg sandwiches as an option for breakfast. They haven’t offered breakfast in a year.

Internet always breaks down, or barely works at all 2 Mbps. Black mold in bathrooms, management blames customers for any issues, even though they went a long time without on site maintenance.

Stay somewhere else. Management doesn’t care. We were told this by an employee that was leaving.
