I've been coming to Destiny Dental for almost 10 years. Both the management and the dentists have been very responsive to my special dental needs. They are pleasant to interact as well.

To keep it short, don't bother. Go somewhere else.

I went in for just a cleaning, nothing else. I've been to a handful of dentists in my life and this is hands down the worst experience I've ever had. From the moment I walked into this place I felt unwelcome. The front desk girl has an attitude of not caring and not wanting to be there. The location and equipment all seems old and tired, as though nothing is kept up. I could go on and on and on about these tiny details but let's just move on.

Before starting the cleaning they needed to take x rays of my mouth, normal that's okay. What's not normal is needing to take OVER 25 X-RAY SHOTS. I've NEVER had to go through that many X-rays at once. The girl doing the X-rays wasn't even leaving the room? Does she not care about her own well being or does she just not know what she's doing? Either way, afterwards the dentist actually performing the cleaning came in. She mentioned some fillings along with other things I needed and I denied everything but the cleaning. I like to feel out my dentist before letting them do more than a cleaning and I am glad I did. After denying everything the dentist left the room and had me waiting in the chair doing nothing for OVER 40 MINUTES. Again, I'm patient but I've NEVER had to wait in any medical office for that long. After the wait, the dentist came back into the room (coincidentally when I heard the cleaning in the room over finished up) and it seemed like the attitude of the dentist went out the window. Like she didn't care since money wasn't involved anymore. And this is where the actual cleaning started.

Horrible, rushed job, felt like nothing was cleaned. Took her less than 5 minutes and before I could even wipe the spit off my lips she was out of the room. No floss work, no recommendations, absolutely nothing. I could still feel the plaque behind my teeth with my tongue. Almost like someone just "scratched" my teeth clean and it had "streaks of clean" (I confirmed this later with myself after looking at a mirror, my teeth looked exactly like this, dirty, unclean)

The last nail in the coffin was STILL getting a treatment plan invoice after denying everything and even with my ID in front of them THEY MISPELLED MY NAME. I know I sound like I'm being petty here BUT ITS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. HOW DO YOU MESS THIS UP. H O W.

To end it off, this place is a joke. I feel like I'm usually level headed with these types of things and wanted a 2nd opinion about them. My family originally recommended them to me a few months back but after telling them about my experience they recounted a couple recent bad experiences too, all similar. This place looks like it used to be much better but that time has come and gone. Go somewhere else.

The receptionists were really rude and unprofessional. And the quality of their work are not good. Not recommended to visit

The Destiny Dental employees are very welcoming, friendly and did a great job for my checkup. The facility was also very clean. I definitely recommend Destiny Dental for your dental needs. I would rate them more than five stars!

I drive all the way from Chicago just to go to this dentist office location! It's nice clean and quiet and definitely can bring my 2kids and be out within an hour! It's worth the drive and I will always come here.

I recently went to Destiny Dental and all I can say is that it was the best dental appointment I’ve had. All the staff was super nice and helpful and the doctor was very patient and thorough. The manager was also very kind and organized. I am very impressed by this office. I highly recommend!

My experiencene at destiny dental was great. The dentist and the hygienist were so kind. The dentist provided a gel for my sensitive teeth and was able to fill my cavities the same day.

I was a little skeptical coming here from some of the reviews but after actually getting treatment at this Niles location, I am glad I came. I had gone to another Destiny office last year and oh what a difference. I'm doing a review because people need to know that the staff here at Niles is fantastic, I had had several appointments now and from the very beginning they have been so wonderful.at first they couldn't find my insurance because of a mixup from the insurance company and Maria went above an beyond calling them and getting it all worked out before my appointment, then not only did they take care of me right on time, Dr shah explained everything and was very patient. Cynthia is so sweet and works great with Dr Shah. I had a lot of work and when it came time to explain what was covered by insurance and what steps they were going to take, Maria explained everything in great detail, she has great professionalism and care and was able to get me in right away to start my procedures.also, the office is clean and has great vibes of great management and team work. I am glad I finally found my forever dental office.

Great doctor! Had a great cleaning done once again by Dr. Shah. Very thorough in her work and takes her time to make sure everything is explained, and the manager there was very nice and helpful with all questions I had. Highly recommend.

I hope that you have the luck that I have had with Destiny Dental. From the front desk to the hygienist and all the way to Dr. Shah and the others too. JUST FABULOUS and NO PAIN whatsoever Thank you Destiny!

This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. I just went for a cleaning and never in my life did it hurt so much. My gums were bleeding so much and even when I left there’s dried up blood between my teeth. Awful. She was so rough.

What kind of medical professional organization denies a patient access to preventative medicine because they've missed an appointment? One that makes more money yanking teeth than they do cleaning them.

Love this place Dr.shah is very nice and professional. She made me feel comfortable and helped my anxiety while I was getting my deep clean and fill in. I’d definitely recommend her it’s worth the commute from my house

The manager and the front desk girl are very rude they have no idea what's customer service mean I work 15 years in retail dealing with all types of customers so I know what's good customer service is and what is horrible I went their for my daughter first time ever dentist appointment she has autism so gets distracted very quick so my wife usually works with visual cards to help her and she have it on her phone their policy is no phones I understand but my wife told the dentist about my daughter conditioning and she was fine with it but the manager came back and pulled the dentist on side saying no phones they could be recording while my wife heard all this even the dentist told her the situation I highly HIGHLY recommend no one goes here the place is very dirty you Walk in it feels you walk in the dump nurses and dentist were very nice they need get rid of manager and the lady at front with glasses you didn't want phones so you afraid someone will leave bad reviews well it's your lucky day please VERY HIGHLY recommend not to goto this dumpster of dentist clinic

First time here for me and my daughter! Everyone was very nice and professional! Well experienced and very informative! They did wonderful with making me and my daughter comfortable! Found my new dental office!

Also, the office I must say is very clean and the receptionist is also very professional in all ways. Have been to many dental offices in the past not only for me but for my children as well and by far this is the best! All of the staff and doctors are always extremely courteous and professional.

If you want great dental care this is the place to go! They take their time to explain what is needed to be done and the staff is wonderful! Thanks to all of you!

I was recently there for a root canal, and I’m giving my honest feed back. I’ve been to other dentist offices where the service has been horrible especially if you have a medical card you know you get bottom of the barrel. However, their service surprised me. I was hesitant because of all the reviews I read on here. I took a chance and was surprised of how I was taken care of, I felt no pain during my procedure. The dentist took her time and asked if how I was feeling, even explained as she was going. Lastly, root canals are expensive ball park $2000+. They have a reasonable price and assist you with your insurance to pay as minimal as possible. I’d definitely give them a chance, because it was a good experience on my end.

I am not one to post a review very often. In fact, almost never. But my visit today at Destiny Dental was just too positive of an experience to not be mentioned. This was not my first visit, and honestly, I could have posted something great after any of my visits. But today was special. I needed a decent amount of work, which I had convinced myself not to look forward to! However, it couldn’t have been any easier. The entire staff, and I mean everyone (!), is so friendly, comforting and just amazing. And Dr Patel …. Well she is about as great at what she does as anyone could imagine. Effortless. Incredible expertise. And finally, such a reassuring and knowledgeable demeanor. Which I consider almost as important as being an awesome dentist! So, I strongly recommend anyone, no matter what your dental needs, visit Destiny Dental in Niles, Dr Patel and her wonderful staff. They make going to the dentist easy ️

Myself and my 3 children discovered Destiny Dental when a girlfriend recommended I go to a very child friendly atmosphere. She was absolutely correct. Everyone on staff is very kind and make you feel very comfortable. My children do not have any fear of dentists even when they had to have a few fillings. I would have given 5 stars but I feel there is always room for improvement and my only "complaints" is that the office lobby is so tiny and sometimes there isn't anywhere to sit and at times we have had to wait quite a bit while standing. And the temperature in the lobby is sometimes unbearable. Also, I think the lobby should have some children's books. While waiting, my 8 and 5 year old can get very bored and then start to mess with things they shouldn't It would be great to see the office get a nice fan in the lobby. Maybe even expand the office in the future.

The front desk staff is super nice, friendly, helpful and professional. The Dr is very good great job done on my tooth and again super friendly and they make you feel at home. (First time I say I love my dentist) I definitely would refer this office to my friends and family.

This office has made my visit superb. From the reception to the office manager then the dentist herself. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a reliable, patient and comfortable experience at the dentist.

I came here for a implant/Maryland bridge consultation and instead the unprofessional hygienist aggressively cleaned my teeth (without my consent) and charged my insurance and my mother noticed she dropped the materials to clean my teeth and used those without cleaning. What kind of place is this? Do not go here under any circumstances. This place needs to get sued for how dirty and dumb they are. Go anywhere but this place.

The whole office is professional, understanding, and works with you to understand your concerns. They helped me after I chipped a tooth and were very efficient in fixing the problem.

Terrible customer service by the lady at the front desk. My mom, who is 81 years old, had an appointment at 5pm, we were coming from downtown Chicago, where we had an interview with INS. Unfortunately, we got there at 5: 08 pm. The lady on the picture asked my mom for an id, my mom gave her a Mexican ID, which had her picture and date of birth. The lady told her that the office did not take that "kind" of ID. They took my mom, who walks with a cane, in and did not allow me to go in with her, by the way my mom does not speak English and they were aware of it. I told them I had my mom's xrays with me and they told me that they needed to do new x-rays. Then, the lady on the picture asked me when were the xrays taken, I told her, January 29. She said they couldn't take her X rays because of her insurance, I explained to her that those x-rays were taken in Florida and that she didn't use her insurance, because Florida does not accept that insurance, to what she responded "people tells us all kind of things, it doesn't mean it is true". At that moment I confirmed that this office is very poorly organized, unprofessional and completely ignorant about what they talk about. I told her I could email her the images, and after trying several times, I told her that the file is too big and couldn't go through, I asked her if there was another way for them to see them to what she said no. After 30 minutes of being there they took my mom out to the lobby and told us that she couldn't be seen because they did not have her Xrays and it was late for them to take new Xrays. We will never go back there and I have told my family about my very sad experience there. They will never go there.

Great office located close to my home and very convenient. I wished I had switched to them earlier. The team is very friendly and the front desk lady named Cynthia is great. I had to get my cleaning and my daughter’s braces evaluation done and the staff was very professional, courteous, and was able to get it done within a week. The orthodontist was honest and straight forward. Every other dentist I have been to have exaggerated what my needs were. Definitely recommend them!

The staff and the doctor was very courteous very friendly and kind. They were very informative answered all my questions. This was my first visit and I’ll be their patient from now on and I’ll recommend this office to all my family and friends.

Worst service ever. I brought my entire family here and I truly regret it. I went there a few days ago andI had an appointment and had to wait 25 minutes. The only reason I had to wait was due to the fact there was a friend or old co worker that showed up and took over 20min talking to the staff members which I found completely unprofessional.

On top of all that I called and spoke to that same staff member named Cynthia to tell them that I shouldn’t have to wait that long when I had an appointment. Just to hear her tell me “you only waited 25 minutes” and hung up the phone. Very unprofessional act, instead of trying to accommodate the mistake they made.

Completely rude about the situation and does not value peoples time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.there are many better dentists in the area that value you your time and know how to run appointments on a timely matter.

The dentists are very kind and nothing hurt during the cleaning process. My teeth are really smooth. And while you wait in the waiting room there is a TV. There are also TV's in the rooms where they clean your teeth so you can be entertained while waiting or when the dentists are cleaning your teeth.

An amazing experience for my sons. Both the staff and the dr are really friendly and the treatment given is just perfect. Thanks to everyone.

Cynthia was super nice to my mom and was at the front desk. Dr Patel was very nice and also the assailant nurse was very helpful. I hate the dentist so they made it better for me.

Destiny Dental located in Niles is such a good dentist office. They send reminders for dentist appointments and every time I’ve called, they have always picked up right away. I’ve never had any issues with the staff. Everyone is always upbeat and happy. Any questions I’ve had, they’ve always answered them happily and thoroughly. I’ve been coming here for about over 3 years now because I had to get braces back in 2018. I have ALWAYS been very insecure about my teeth and the very first day I came here they did not make me feel bad about my teeth at all and still till this day they never do make me feel insecure about my teeth and they have made me feel more confident and I can’t thank them enough. All of their staff is extremely sweet and caring. Would never choose a different dentistry to work on my teeth!
