Have to say I had a very bad experience!
I had a wisdom teeth situation and was groaning in pain when I came for an appointment. I was attended by Dr Yaz and an attendant (don't recall her name).
They gave me an antibiotic but when I asked about pain relief, they left me in the dark. I was rushed to the ER the same night I came here and the ER Doctor laughed at the dosage of antibiotics given to me. If I were handled well, I would have needed the ER trip!
Would have given less than 1 star if I could.

I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer as my hygienist. Jennifer is knowledgeable, has great chairside manners, and is an all-around consummate professional. She multi-tasked effortlessly with trainees in the room observing. In short, she is passionate about preventive dental care, and it shows.

I’m continuing to have a bad crown experience here. Cleanings are still good. Also they appear to be scaling their business at the cost of customer experience (call center).

They recommended a preventative crown and I haven’t been able to chew without discomfort on that side after 7 months and 3 follow ups. Just got the bill for the third follow up. They keep shaving more and more off. The crown was placed too high by inexperienced staff. The experience was of the crown procedure also involved an inexperienced assistant not able to perform proper suction, repeatedly being corrected as my mouth filled with water

I had wisdom tooth pain for years and always had different dentist offices give me appointments months from the time. Once I found dentologie they were able to take me in right away. The front desk ladies were nice. And the extraction process went smoothly it made me feel relieved to come in again. My other wisdom tooth started aching and they were able to take me in the very next day. Always satisfied with their care. Dr. Ray and the nice lady helping him helped ease my pain.

Before you read this review, please know that I am not a patient. I work for a private dental practice in Chicago, so please keep this in mind when you read this review. I needed to contact Dentologie in the South Loop in order to retrieve x-rays for a mutual patient coming to our office. This is a very standard request. I have called 5 times now in the last two days and I have yet to receive any word from Dentologie about our patient's x-rays. Each time I call I never speak to a person who works in the office, I only speak with their answering service, and all they can do is leave the South Loop office a message that our office needs these x-rays. As you can tell, I have had the answering service leave around 4 messages, and I have not received any word from Dentologie. After feeling frustrated I tried to contact Dentologie through their insurance dept.where I finally was able to speak with someone in the office. Her name was Tina, and she said that she that she was sorry to hear about my struggles, but that their phone system has been down so that would explain the poor communication. She assured me that she would email the patient their x-rays as well as send our office an x-ray release form. I thanked her and got off the phone. It has been 24 hours and I still haven't received any form from Dentologie. I spoke with the patient and they have not received anything either. This is starting to get ridiculous. -UPDATE - Dentologie has finally called to take care of my request but before I finished speaking with the representative on the phone they hung up on me. SO I called and left another message with the answering service to leave Dentologie South Loop a message to call back. They did and they profusely apologized. They said they would send our office the information we needed. I hope that this can finally be settled.

Well, I’m disappointed. I should have read the reviews first. I got a root canal and a crown, but the crown looks more like a marshmallow that a molar tooth. Because of this, it doesn’t function as a chewing tooth. It just packs food into the tooth above it. I let them know, and they invited me back for a consultation to see what could be done. They said the crown was great, and everything looked good. They said they could do a filling for the tooth above it (which is a separate issue) or replace the crown which is quite involved, and likely it would look the same: not modeled after my real tooth. Don’t waste your time and money here, they are cutting corners and charging as if they’re doing it right.

I had not been in to see a dentist since before the pandemic. What were small problems then became bigger problems now, and I was full of dread and of shame that I had let things get out of hand.

Dr Patel (and her assistant Miranda) made me feel comforted and welcome. I have seen several dentists over the years. You know how some do the "tsk tsk" look and say stuff like "we should have been flossing moorrrrre"? There's nothing like that. At all. It showed me they were concerned for me and for my health and getting me to a better place.

It was probably my best visit to any dentist ever.and that is WITH the root canal I needed.

The crown turnaround was only a day, too, because they do them in-house.

We planned my care and took x-rays, and I feel like by this time next year, I'll have the best dental health I have had as an adult person.and I am so excited.

The plan is flexible, too, so we can use my benefits to their fullest extent and not pay as much out of pocket.

I've been going to Dentologie since 2015 and have referred a number of family and friends over the years. Everything about the experience has always been, and remains, top notch. In addition to great dentist, hygienist, and administrative staff the space is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. If going to the dentist is something you dread.trust me the Dentologie experience will turn that around for you!

My first time visit was great! There was about a 5 minute wait. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Yaz was patient, kind, and informative. I appreciate Dentologie's follow up after the visit was completed. Overall, the office was clean, organized, and well-managed.

I've been going to Dentologie for over 4 years now. I feel confident in my quality of care, and every doctor and hygienist (and the office staff) has always been welcoming, patient, kind, and transparent. I had one issue with billing when insurance rejected covering a crown and dealing with the billing office was unpleasant (they were grossly unresponsive and ignored my emails and calls over a period of months) which is why I deducted one star.

I'm seriously going to pull my hair out with these guys. I can NEVER get the office when I call. The call always goest to the concierge and they call me back, of course, at an inconvenient time for me. Why am I chasing them? Seriously, don't waste your time. There are plenty of other dentistry offices to chose from.

I've been a patient here for 5 years and sadly this place has gone downhill. The space and staff onsite are still great. The issue is you can never get an appointment and never get anyone on the phone. I've been waiting for my permanent crown to arrive for nearly a month and every time I call, I get the concierge service and have to leave a message, which I may or may not get a call back. And you better make your appointment for cleaning when you're on-site because if you wait, you'll be pushed out months. I'm finishing up my crown work here and then will look for another dentist.

Watch out. They will also use dirty equipment even if you point it out you still have to ask for clean equipment. This experience was provided to me by tech Priscilla

Dentologie Streetervill location is close to both my work and home but they sent me to South loop location for my implant. After paying more than $2300 and few visits, finally I got to the final step and finished last scan for implant. However, I got a voice message from the office saying that I have to come back for a new scan. I called back to get a new appointment but the personnel who answered couldn’t set the schedule and asked me to call back next day. I did call next day and the receptionist was saying the office had to call me and she could not make the appointment either. I waited but no one called. So now I have to keep calling to see if anyone can make the appointment due to the mistakes they made. Unclear what was wrong with the scan and unsure what’s going on with this office. Hopefully I can get it done sooner or later. I will not recommend this location, doctors & nurses are all nice but “the office” staff is not doing their jobs apparently. Very disappointing.

I have been going here for about a year, and have finally decided it's time to move on after a truly 3 star experience. After my first consultation I had a deep cleaning and then a few cavities filled as well as a crown. My crown and two fillings went well, but one tooth has continued to bother me and I haven't been able to properly chew on that side in months. I went for countless followups about this tooth and the dentist did make many adjustments and even refilled it with a different material at one point, but it has remained an issue for me. The longer it has gone on the more I feel like he was increasingly brushing off my continued pain, while always saying that "next time" we would escalate our intervention to some other step, and then next time he would just try the same thing that hadn't worked the previous 4 times.

After all this work to get my dental health back on track, I was instructed to make an appointment for a cleaning at 3 months, which the receptionist told me wasn't necessary or possible and booked me for 6 months out. When I went for the 6 month cleaning, I was berated and told I should have been in at 3 months. I told them I tried to book sooner and was told it wasn't possible. The hygienist then helped me to book two more appointments 3 months apart, which I appreciated. However, due to work I could no longer make the followup and asked for alternate times. My schedule is very flexible but they kept offering me slots outside of times I said I was free, and they're always trying to get me to travel to another location. The only reason I came here in the first place is because it is close by, I definitely don't think the quality of care is good enough to warrant traveling for it. Eventually whoever I was texting to reschedule just stopped texting me back. At this point, I feel like I'm chasing after this dental conglomerate asking for the bare minimum, and it just isn't working out. I appreciate all of the work that was done well, but I think it's not a good fit anymore and will be moving on.

I went to Dentologie South Loop and had Dr. Nikhil Patel as my doctor. He belittled and spoke down to me more than any other doctor has in my life. To this date, this was my worst experience with a doctor. He spoke to me like I was a child who didn't understand basic concepts, and didn't express any sort of compassion for my situation. Dentologie as a place is probably okay, the person who cleaned my teeth was very nice, but make sure that you request another doctor (literally any other person other than Dr. Nikhil Patel).

I hadn’t been to the dentist in too long and was not looking forward to my visit. But any apprehensions I had towards the dentist are now gone. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Parker enough; she is kind, knowledgeable, and most importantly honest. I left feeling confident and determined, and I am almost looking forward to my next appointment, weirdly enough.

I’m scared of the dentist office, but at Dentologie it’s the best. I Loved my experience here. Everyone is very nice and professional. The bonus was Dalia and Dr. Song did not hurt me one bit and made me feel comfortable with my jacked up teeth. I can’t wait to have them create a new beautiful smile for me!

Caring professionals and modern conveniences. I appreciated how easy it was to navigate their website and make an appointment. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time & watched Hulu during my cleaning! I found their hygienist and doctor to be friendly and helpful. Recommend for those on the near south side/south loop!

I'm still sitting in the dentist chair but I can genuinely say this the most pleasant dentist experience I've ever had in my whole life.

I did Invisalign at Dentologie with Dr. Hany Kurdi. I was told that my treatment would take a few months, with 4 days between tray changes (the standard is 7-14 days). The tray changes were too frequent and my teeth stopped tracking properly. I switched my treatment to an orthodontist and I have been undergoing treatment for 1.5 years. They were shocked that I was doing 4 day changes.

After I signed up for Invisalign I never saw Dr. Kurdi again, rather Dr. Robert Villa did the installation. Dr. Villa did an improper IPR which made the process more challenging for my orthodontist. Dr. Villa also asked if I was planning to fix my teeth. There is a strong emphasis on aesthetics and image at Dentologie.

The Invisalign treatment plan from Dentologie was not correcting my bite, which was the whole point for my treatment. They said it wasn't possible to correct it fully, but that is because their goal is to get you done in 6 months. I am currently under the care of orthodontists who have corrected my bite. I don't think my oral health was important during my Invisalign treatment at Dentologie. Their social media presence is important to them.

Invisalign is a serious commitment and if you're interested you should consult with an orthodontists office as well. From Dentologie's current website, they are all dentists and not orthodontists.

I did not have a positive experience here. Dentologie has told me I’ve had cavities, and when I went for second opinions at another dental office (after hearing other stories of Dentologie patients being told they have cavities when they do not) they did not find any cavities. Even after x-rays. Previously I had dentologie “fix” three cavities, I wish I had gone to get a second opinion sooner.

At Dentologie you are just a number. They could careless about you. I went in for a deep cleaning and tried to book my mandatory 3 month follow up and they had no available appoints for 6 months. They give you a treatment, but can not schedule you for the follow up treatments the doctor requested. In addition to not being able to schedule follow up unless they are 6 month or longer out, the dentist had to ask for working tools twice as his tools were broken. I watched the hygienist test his equipment, tell another hygienist it is broken and then they say it’s okay. They won’t know anyways. Looks like the dentist knew his tools weren’t working. I then had to watch and wait for another doctor to get done using the tool my doctor needed. My doctor then decided to go see other patients in the middle of my deep cleaning while he waited for the tools he needed to get done with me. That is how busy they are. They don’t even have enough working tools to do their job correctly. Very disappointing to find out they do not care about the health of your teeth only how much money they can get you for. They recommend a treatment schedule and then once they get the big ticket items done they say they can not book appointments until 2023. Stay away from this dental office.

I dread going to the dentist and get a ton of anxiety going in. Today I ran into the best possible scenario! I got to work with Asher and Dr. Song and they were both incredible. Asher was more than patient and kind while being willing to work things out together. Thank you for the great experience at Dentologie!

I have been going to Dentologie for Invisalign for about a year and a half. I think their staff is their best asset. Recently was assisted by Dalia and she was informative and answered all my questions thoroughly! I also have loved working with Dr. Patel - she has super sincere and informed recommendations. The only reason I am giving the four stars is because their claims department has been a struggle. Seems like they have a new system in place to combat that. Overall, I recommend visiting for Invisalign.

I went to dentologie for invisalign treatment. I only had a few appointments to attend and they were all short, sweet and to the point. Treatment was very straightforward and all the staff were so helpful and kind. Not to mention i’m extremely happy with my results in only a few months, way less than traditional braces! Thank you Dr. Kurdi and everyone at Dentologie south loop for a great experience going to the dentist!:)

I was recommended by my orthodontist to visit a general dentist there which he checked my teeth and recommended me to do a deep clean (I wonder if every new patients are recommended for a deep clean even they have regular clean every half year?). Everything went well until then.
After that, I got 2 different young specialists to clean my teeth which makes me uncomfortable with and none of them do polish or use floss in the end. So I guess I'd better go some other places for further dental Appointment.

I enjoy going to see my dentist. Not a sentiment shared often. Because,
The folks at Dentologie are awesome! The irksome tasks of teeth cleaning, cavities being filled and as I’ve gotten older, more and more repairs and replacements become bearable, comfortable. I’ve been going to Dr. Kurdi since 2014. My trust in his professionalism and humanity grows.
Equally important is his support staff.
In particular, Deisi Diaz has been the welcoming smile that greeted me when
I entered. Her role has grown and she has been an immense help in navigating through my insurance issues and getting me where I want to go. She does more than anyone I’ve known in any healthcare system and goes out of the way to provide support. I received a fruit bouquet from her after sharing some sad news. I was so touched! Who does that? I wholeheartedly recommend Dentologie!

I had my very first crown (shame on me) done this week at Dentologie. Dr. Nye was my dentist, and I have to say that I was pretty surprised at how easy the whole thing was! I went in expecting it to be really uncomfortable, but it wasn't.

The process is super high-tech, from the 3D scanning, to the zirconium oxide cube that gets cut & formed to look just like my tooth (zirconium oxide crowns are much tougher than porcelain and most metal alloys). You can see a pic of my crown being born, like something out of Westworld. Kinda.

When I left, I noticed the tooth felt sort of rough on the chewing surface, so I went back today and Dr. Nye worked on it for about 15 minutes and it was as smooth as my real teeth! Totally pleased with the quality of work and professionalism at Dentologie. Definitely the best dental experience I've had in my life.
