Mint Leaf Indian Cuisine

Got a chance to visit Mint Leaf Indian cuisine last week. The food was magnificent and served promptly. The staffs were courteous; the server greeted us with a beautiful smile.
I would highly recommend gourmet who loves Indian Cuisine to check out this fantastic place and savor their delicacies. They have tons of Indian food varieties (North Indian, South Indian.)
They do have options for both al la carte (all days) as well as grand buffet (weekends until 2PM).

3) Lamb Chops
4) Chicken Tandoori

Main Course:
1) Chicken Biryani Special
2) Chicken Tikki Masala
Breads:
1) Garlic Butter Naan

Not to mention, they have options for takeaways as well as banquet.

We remarked on the tasteful grandeur of this restaurant and, I am definitely visiting this place again soon.

Hidden dining gem in Smyrna. One of the best Indian restaurants in the area. They brought back the weekend buffet which has a large selection of veg and non-veg items. They offer lunch specials during the week as well.

Please stop using staples to seal the to go bags! The sharp ends of Loose staples Almost caused a puncture wound on my hand!
Use some sort of tape instead to seal bags

Excellent food and great customer service. They cook to taste. I love spicy food and have never been disappointed at mint leaf.

Well they overcharge without customers knowing it. To me this is cheating. The prices listed on their menu and the prices they actually charge are 2 different prices. I didn't realize until I got home and saw the receipt. Example Andhra chicken curry is listed 12.99 they charged 14.99 Next fish masakkali is listed 9.99 they charged 10.99 the same with bhuna gosht. Out of good faith and honesty I paid it without checking and matching the prices on the receipt. I have saved the receipt to prove of what they have charged. This is really BAD so please match the menu and receipt price before paying. I am not going back to this place.

I come here for lunch often. I’ve always had a good experience, and the food is always great, especially the Chicken 65.

I don’t know if a new chef was hired or something, but the vegetarian curries tasted really off-balance.

One was overly sweet and tasted like tomato paste and another one was overly sour.

I have eaten here before and the dishes were good, but this time it did not taste good at all.

The tikka masala is pure sugar! It’s literally bland chicken pieces mixed with a sugary sauce, no spices. Sadly, I had to throw it away as it was unbearable. Also, if you order over the phone or inside, they will UP CHARGE YOU, what they charge will not be the same price on the menu! Please be sure to check your receipt!

For instance, the chicken tikka masala dish is $12.99, but they charge $15.99, even though the menu states $12.99. When I confronted her, she tells me they haven’t gotten around to updating the menu. Like what?
To get the low price you see on the menu, order online, then go pick it up.

You’ve been warned

The food was hot fast service warm welcome the serve faucet water need lemon to diffuse the taste restaurant appear to be clean however I didnt like the butter chicken.it didn't taste nor look like it. I'm cancer patient it was to sweet. I couldn't eat it. Manager tried to fix it. That s my second time there maybe different chief. Not pleased.

The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was caring. I’d love to visit again. I'd recommend it as a nice place to go with friends and family.

Ordered Chicken Bhuta as carry out. Menu on the web order say it is $12.99.
When went to pickup, charged $14.99 plus tax. When confronted about the price, I was told, it is not updated. Asked to see the printed menu, before giving, he looked at it and refused to show saying it is also old price. Asked for manager, and was told he is not here.

I know the ownership had changed recently. The new ownership cannot be trusted for the invoice or I am sure even of the quality of the food.

I am going to stop going to Mint Leaf.

Pathetic. Found a dead fly? In the food. On top of it, owner's attitude was not good after we told her about the fly.

The food was absolutely excellent. Me and my wife try different indian restaurants in every city we go to. We both agreed that this one is hands down the best indian food we have ever tried. Plus they are vegetarian friendly and also have vegan options.

The wait time was a little longer than we expected, but it was well worth it!

Restaurant is cool with excellent management. Food is very tasty especially the biryani tastes very very good compared to other Indian restaurants in and around smyrna. Biryani spicy levels can be customized per our satisfaction.

The food was so delicious, I tried so many Indian restaurants but I had never have the taste like this and also the service was also best.

What kind of a south Asian restaurant turns hungry customers away 45mins before closing? We just recently moved to Atlanta and literally live 2 mins away from this place. Fair enough to say that we’re never coming back here and won’t recommend our friends and family visit it either.

Have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal.we had tandoori’s, chicken curry and Briyani’s with a couple of beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups. It was a awesome experience.

My first time there. I was concerned that I break out with certain spices but the lady with very helpful and referred me to something that was mild and it was so good.

Many restaurants are good but only a few compel lazy people like me to leave a good review. If there is only one Indian Restaurant you can visit near Atlanta, consider Mint leaf. I have been disappointed with Biryanis most of my life but Mint leaf really delivered. The butter chicken had perfectly sized pieces and also has a generous curry portion.

I have been ordering my food from this since last year in Covid 19 it used to be good but now in 2022 onwards every time I order it’s nasty but last night I wanted to try their vegetarian food I ordered Malai kofta in which koftas where frozen can’t eat and Dal fry had too much of salt and stinked as stale I had to throw all the food.
Never order from these cheaters they want to fool you.

I have visited this location many times throughout the years and have never had a bad meal. Smyrna is lucky to have them.

Friendly and quick service, food was ready exactly 10 minutes from ordering. Excellent quality food. Butter Chicken was on the sweeter side, Chicken Chukka had a lovely spice to it. Naan was good too, especially their specialty rosemary herb naan with the chukka. Everything was packaged with care, which is greatly appreciated. Portions were good size, with one entree being enough to split between 2 people if they're not that hungry. Mango lassi was great too.

This place is always yummy. My only complaint is that they could use a face lift for the interior. It is not welcoming and when COVID is over plp will want to get out more. There is a lost of opportunity at this place because of the interior.

The tandoori shrimp and goan fish curry were amazing! The daal fry and rasmalai were also great. Will definitely order again.

Food is over priced. I purchased a meal, and received just the entree and no sides and paid $20 bucks. This place is not worth the price, however the entree was good.

Wastage of money today very terrible briyani we got, only masala it’s very raw couldn’t eat bitter. Very bad mutton Biriyani it’s like bitter gourd rice…

What a wastage of money and the food was terrible.we ordered Mint leaf special briyani and chicken lolly pop.but the food quality was terrible and nothing was as expected. Lolly pop was rolled with lot of batter & with heavy food color.on the other hand, they definitely have no clue about what's Chicken 65 biryani is.both the food are upsetting my stomach.i thought of giving mintl leaf a try after my last worst experience.but now it makes me to think that i will never be back to this shop again.

Mint biryani which I bought yesterday, the chicken was so stale and smelling. Not at all fresh. Avoid if possible.they don’t even read instructions.

My first time at Mint Leaf today. We had butter paneer and tandoori chicken kebobs today and the food came out for pickup on time. The paneer was great, I asked for medium spicy and it was just right. The naans were good size and tasty. The chicken was terrible though. If you're in the business for bone dry and overcooked chicken, I guess this is your place. The flavor was weak and the whole dish was just a disappointment. Adding extra lime juice or the sauce from the paneer dish did not make a difference with this chewey chicken. I would not come back.

I have some mixed reviews for this restaurant but mostly positive. Special call out for a couple of dishes like chicken chukka and lamb Chettinad (not in the menu). Very authentic Chettinad taste.
Onion spinach pakkora quantity and taste is good. Idly, dosa tasted a bit old, but not too crazy. Overall, good.

1st time ordering food from this establishment. Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Nan, we weren't disappointed. I'll definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Food was horrible and looked even less appetizing. I love Saag Aloo but then I remembered I love it from Swapna not this place. The Naan was soggy. Horrible good experience and it will be the last time I ever buy from them.

I am from Las Vegas where I have yet to find anyone with simmers like Mint Leaf. I love the butter chicken and tikka. The garlic nann is also delicious. It is a lot of food for one portion, so I normally have lunch for the next day. Whenever I fly into Atlanta and have a long enough layover, I always grab some food from here. Thanks for making the food so delicious.

Disappointed experience with Spicy Briyani and chicken 555. Chef mixed green chili paste into mutton Briyani and Chicken 555. It spoiled the real chicken 555 and Briyani taste and it’s so spiceeeeeeee. We are not able eat a bite, be careful when you’re ordering food with Spicy option.

The been shorting me on food. Last two orders I picked up from them, first was missing naan, second time I ordered wings which were very pricy $11.99 for 6 pcs, but they only gave 5 pcs.

Loved it! So good. It was my first Indian food experience in 2 years because I couldn't find a place. NOW, I have a place!

I pray for the day that Mint Leaf opens back up its buffet! We used to eat at the buffet at least once a week, because the food that they made were so delicious! Lately, with Covid, the buffet has yet to come back, but this place has been our savior! My all-time favorite food, which no other Indian restaurants can compare to, is the Boneless Chicken Dum Biryani. You can tell that they really cook this plate with their hearts and souls, because this rice dish is so rich and flavorful! I dream about this dish all day. So far, there has not been one dish here that I am unhappy with. Everything is just so delicious, and the owners are really friendly!

Great place for Indian food. I like that they take the quarantine seriously and offer online ordering through chownow. The food always tastes great.

Good grief that Special Boneless Chicken Biryani was incredible. Pricey, but extremely worth it.

My daughter and I tried their buffet today (5/19/17) after driving by. The restaurant is inviting and the greeter was kind enough to point out items on the buffet that contained peanuts/cashews since my daughter has an allergy. I'm a long time Indian consumer and in all my years, I've never ran across green colored chicken in Chicken Tiki Masala or any other Indian dish containing chicken. The sauce was well flavored but I stopped eating once I noticed that. I asked one male waiter and he must not have understood my question because his response was to confirm that the meat was chicken. Another guy walked up (because he could tell there was a problem) and his explanation was not satisfactory. He told me they prepare all meats together and it is normal for the chicken to look green in a masala and that it is safe to consume. I wouldn't bet money on his explanation and am wondering what a health inspector might say. The food we tried was tasty, however if you serve green chicken and can't explain it with food dye, there's a problem somewhere. Check out the picture for proof. Also, they keep the utensils in the section where two buffet stands meet. The fresh hot Naan is kept in a basket right in front of the silverware so while you're waiting to make it to the next buffet section, people are walking in front of you and hovering over the naan just to get silverware. I didn't grab any naan after seeing that because people's hair and any particles from their upper body could easily fall into the naan basket. Please do better!

Confused why this place doesn't have higher reviews. To caveat, I have only ever ordered this restaurant off of DoorDash and I'm not an expert on authentic Indian food. But this place has impressed me every time I've ordered it. The samosas and naan are lovely and the curries have always been very flavorful, although I could see a complaint about lack of meat. I wouldn't take this restaurant for a dine in option, and will probably only ever DoorDash or pick up, but the quality and flavor of the food is definitely there. My first choice for Indian in the area.

I go there occasionally and used to like the place. But today i didn’t like the food. Found the food stale and didn’t enjoyed much. Found the place less hygienic which may be due to pandemic. Overall; not satisfied. At the end of the day; even my stomach hurts lil bit.

I constantly arrive buying some food in this place. I enjoy the fast customer service and well prepared food. Fantastic work.

I ordered Goat Biryani & Andhra Chicken curry. It was fabulous. Great test. Love it. The bestest restaurant in Atlanta. I have tried many restaurant in Atlanta but not like Mint Leaft. Willl order again & again. Thank you very much!
