Businesses on this block hate homeless vets and those that pray for them. Do Not Do Business With Them. Mr. David Bernard Simmons called the police and threatened to have a man trespassed for asking for prayers for homeless vets. Only a terrible and loathsome human being would call the police over such a thing. DO NOT DO BUSINESS ON THIS BLOCK! DO NOT PUT MONEY IN HIS POCKET! THAT IS ALL HE CAN UNDERSTAND! WATCH THE VIDEO ON YOUTUBE. GENUINELY REPULSIVE. IF THEY CARE SO LITTLE ABOUT HOMELESS VETS OR PRAYERS FOR THOSE VETS WHY WOULD THEY CARE ABOUT THE CLEANLINESS YOUR FOOD!? Do Not Do Business On This Block!

Since the pandemic your food lost it's quality the zucchini fritters were burnt and dry the gyro wasn't what it used to be but the wife ate it because she was hungry. I got it to go and didn't know how bad it was till I got home.

Saw this place of business try to infringe on a citizen’s rights. Be cautious if you ever walk by this place of business, they might call the police on you!

It's sad that the owners of the business would lie to the police to remove someone who is only saying "God Bless Out Homeless Veterans" and not ask for money/food or anything else. For a business owner to disregard the constitution and our veterans is pure evil. It's sad that this owner chose to blatantly lie to a police officer to remove someone who is expressing their first amendment right is sad. Additionally it's sad that the police of Milledgeville Ga.have no clue about our constitution, the one and only document they swore an oath to is pathetic. This town deserves to go bankrupt and will not get any of my money now or anytime in the future.

My dish was well cooked and flavorful, my patrons were friendly and attentive, the environment was clean and well operated. 5 stars! The only thing that could have made meal better was a higher quality of Salmon especially wild caught

My grandson said the shrimp kabobs are the best shrimp ever!
All entrees were great!

Wanted to try something different than the norm. Was very pleased. I like Greek food. My daughter has not eaten much Greek. She got the vegetarian sampler and really like it. Got the Chicken Momo's and Spankotia for appetizers the Momo's were excellent and the Spankotia was good as well. My son and I got the Metropolitan Kabobs. The Kabobs were good but the steak was a bit done for my taste. All in all a very good dine! They had a great vegetarian selection as well. It was also well priced.

Absolutely recommend the chicken swarms! My new favorite! The Greek salad is on point as well!

Good food with decent lunch service. The furnishings and layout are extremely worn and in disrepair but seems that comes from the fact that at night it becomes more of a college bar scene

Good prices on drinks and food. The Mediterranean is pretty good. Kind service. Location does need to work on there cleanliness and sanitary appearance. I normally don't recommend three stars or less but because of the quality of service go and see for yourself.

Great Thursday Indian night specials. The tikka masala and garlic naan are incredible. Good beer selection as well. Always a good experience here.

Great Greek food and atmosphere. We had a variety of dishes including; meat gyros, samosas, tzatziki and pita, falafel and a sensational side Greek salad. All nIcely prepared and spiced. The gyros presentation looks sparse because the meat was not is strips, but the taste was sensational. Staff is friendly and works hard to make you feel at home (they seemed to be slightly understaffed today). Street parking could be a challenge, but parking didn’t stop the place from filling up for Sunday lunch.

We had a Greek dinner for 2. We both loved it! Service, atmosphere, food and drinks were excellent!

The gyro dish is good but sparse for the price. The atmosphere is nice. Our server forgot a few items that we had ordered and the service was slow. It didn't appear they were understaffed that evening. If you have the time and patience give it a try. The food is good and the selection of alcohol is perfect. Cheers!

More people definitely need to know about the amazing food available here. Highly recommend the vegetarian sampler and spanakopita.

Everyone in the group enjoyed their food. I'm a very picky eater so I had the chicken fingers and curly fries. The chicken tenders were some of the best I've ever had.
Review for a different visit. I had the chicken tenders again. They are very good. My husband always enjoys his food here. He had chicken kabobs this visit.

Metropolis Cafe literally saved my life throughout the beginning of my pregnancy. The veggie kabob was my everyday go to. They also have amazing Indian food.

We were very pleased with our meal. Everything was so tasty and service excellent. We had Greek salads, a vegetarian sampler and chicken kebabs. All delicious. I would eat there again any time.

Amazing food, generous portions, kind and welcoming servers, and very inexpensive. I go here often and I'm always blown away by the consistency and amazing food. Best place in town!

I have to admit I was hesitant when I opened the door and entered, looked like a standard pub/bar, but the Mediterranean food was amazing! Please give them a chance, you won't be disappointed.

The food was ok. Sanitation needs work. When I went to the restroom, I had to ask for hand soap. That should never happen. I wont return.
