Yea don't buy your solar here! They lie and give you the run around maintenance team was great after fixing the problem.installers were good. But parts missing on the box, said they'd come by for a final inspection, no one did yet they passed it. Lol? And once we fried to turn it on it failed, that's when maintenance came by and even said it wasn't even inspected because this that and the other. While looking at it, it would Gail a home inspection on how the installed the boxes outside. They promised us a free water heater snd pool pump. Yea where are those 4 months later? They said we have to make a few monthly payments to get them. Like what?

Sunergy installers were excellent. Professional, courteous, and efficient. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

I do not recommend Sunergy or any other solar company. The companies send these young "fast talkers" to knock on your doors weekly begging for you to let them talk to you about solar. I said no several times, but my husband finally made an appointment with them. Literally as soon as the the salesman sat at my kitchen table he started lying.

First lie he said was that you get a rebate. Florida does not have a rebate. So you are expected to pay your entire loan yourself without any help. Second he said you wouldn't have an electric bill from your company. Third he said you had 3 days to cancel after signing up. (That's also stated in the contract, but what they won't tell you is that they won't answer the phone or make long hold wait times so you end up giving up.) I tried canceling within the first 24 hours, but couldn't get a hold of anyone. And the reason I tried canceling was because I looked up everything the salesman said and learned it was all a lie. In the moment it sounds good, and when you tell them you're going to think about it they pressure you more. It's a normal salesman tactic. I fell for it, but now I'll make sure none of my friends or family fall for it.

I have had the panels installed for a few months now. They aren't doing anything. I am paying out the same amount I was paying before I installed them. They will tell you "You're just not producing enough energy, or it's been cloudy in your area, or you're using more than you are producing. " I literally showed the salesman what I was using before he offered me the current plan I'm on. So that also shows they don't know anything they are talking about. Just reading off of a script so they can earn their commission. I now have a solar bill and an electric bill. And you're stuck in the contract until you pay it off. They also cause damage to your roof. It's truly a waste of money and a headache. Hope this review helps others from being scammed.

Also a good tip is if you have cameras in your home have the conversation in the areas where your cameras are so you can keep the video and go back to it afterwards. That's what I show my family when they tell me they are interested in getting solar. I think I may add it to my content page to save more people.

3 years after signing our solar contract and we are not happy or whole. The original site survey was inadequate…after we finally were turned on and up and running (9-10 months after signing the contract) I waited a year to calculate our savings. I was not happy with the results. I reached out to Sunergy and they calculated we needed to add 21 more panels to our existing 34…. The original survey did not calculate our needs correctly. We decided to add the panels, but at this point we decided to put a new roof on our house first. We went through Sunergy to replace our roof. The 34 panels were taken down, a new roof installed and the original 34 panels and the new 21 panels were placed back on the roof. After the roof replacement, we discovered leaks around our chimney. We had the roofing company contracted through Sunergy come back out to repair the leak 3 times. We ended up hiring our own contractor to fix the leak. In order for our contractor to work on the chimney, we had Sunergy come out to remove 5 panels from the roof…. Just the panels. The mounting rails are still on the roof. After having the chimney leaks repaired, (at an additional cost to us), we called Sunergy and asked to have the 5 panels mounted back on the roof. We were told this would now cost us $5500. To remount 5 panels we already own on the rails already in place on our roof. None of this would have been necessary if the original roofing contractor through Sunergy had been able to fix the leaks around our chimney. I just need my 5 panels remounted.

Sunergy truly lived up to its reputation as the best solar energy company out there. They were so informative and helpful throughout the entire process, and they made sure to answer all of my questions thoroughly.

I have never been involved with a company so poorly ran and once these clowns have your money you will never hear from them again. Avoid Sunergy at all costs. It's a scam for multiple reasons. Once you call them and try to tell the truth with a legitimate claim, you'll be referred to a phony, slick fast-talker named Frankie- but you'll never hear from them again. They begin to hang up each and every time you try to call. Most importantly, we pay $91 each month for the "loan" on the panels, and our electricity bills are higher than ever. The Federal government should open an investigation!

Don’t believe this liars!
They keep saying that LCEC recommended their service and that’s not true at all.
They knock on your doors even with no soliciting sign and don’t respect anyone.
They lie so you can buy junk panels and they will disappear if you need any work done.
They use subcontractors and the sales guys will promise everything but they have very long contracts for reason.
After the system is installed they do not work or fix anything. Just do your research and go with local company. Someone that you can go to their warehouse and see the products and not this fly bill night companies!

Josh and Jacob were amazing throughout the entire process. We originally had signed with another solar company and had been waiting for over 5 months for the panels. Getting every excuse in the book about why it was taking so long and we had to chase them down constantly for updates.

I have been paying 2 bills for over a year the represenative said I needed more panels and that I was on the list to get them fixed in April 21 it is now July 21 and no one has fixed my panels and I'm still paying 2 and no one has contacted me or fixed the panels. If your thinking about going solar do not do any business with this Company they are scam artists. When you post your review about these scam artist they are going to call you and tell you they are working on it and some one will call back with a update that day Don't believe it they will not call you back and you will be chasing these people down all over again.

This is May 6 2022 once again my panels have been down for about 3 months every time I call I can't get anyone on the phone. The picture below is showing no lights are on in the system indicating the whole system is not working.

Josh is the best! There was no beating around the bush, he put directly in contact with the head of the company (Tony). I see people are having issues but, one must remember Sunergy only does the install. If a sales team undersizes and/or makes promises they can't keep that isn't Sunergy's fault. Deal with Sunergy directly or talk to them before a sales person from another company takes advantage you. Sunergy just does the installation, permits, etc.

One star is generous on this review. Since our install, our system is not generating the amount of energy that we were promised when we signed up. From the start we’ve had many problems with this system. There are many solar providers out there. DO YOUR RESEARCH and EXCLUDE SUNERGY FROM ALL CONSIDERATION. Our first power bill was $20 and we were elated. The second power bill came out and we owed $80 when we’re in the middle of SUMMER. That’s not right. We were promised that we would generate 100% of our average usage that SUNERGY estimated prior to installation based on our past bills. Now I’ve submitted a request for an audit of our system and have been told that SUNERGY is backlogged with these requests. That means many people are having the same difficulties as I am. I will submit Similar reviews of SUNERGY to as many online forums as possible and anyone I hear of that is considering going solar. Beware of SUNERGY! They will not follow through with what they promise you.
UPDATE: Just received my bill for the end of June into July and it is $123, up from the $80 bill the month before. The problem is only getting worse. There has been no response from Sunergy despite my last audit request.

I have been discussing the benefits of going Solar for my house with Josh. Not only has he been knowledgeable on the financing side, he has helped me understand more about the regulations and benefits of going fully solar. Has been almost a year since signing contract. Still not completely finished with install. Production of KWH amount is fraudulent. Saving 20$ per month is not 70% as advertised.

Sunergy Solar installed my panels quickly but we ran into some issue with getting the solar turned on. Libby worked with Gulf Power and I to get my meter reprogrammed. Took some time but we finally got it up and running. I would recommend them to others.

These people admitted to us that their sales rep have us a load of fraudulent information that will now effect us for the next 30 years. No one from their company will follow up with us. We are reporting them to the better business bureau. Go solar but DON'T use this company.

Like a previous poster, our installation went, for the most part, smooth. Again, like the previous poster, we were pitched we would produce more than our use, and that our house looked like a great candidate for solar. We are 6 months into this and we are still not producing near what they said, and now instead of a $190 power bill, we have a $160 power bill and a $139 dollar payment to the financing company of the panels. With nearly 6 or 7 different people, we continually are told we will be contacted and then nothing happens until we call again and are then told they will call us within 24 hours. I have two different people tell me they are the owners of the company only to find that they have left the company. Sketchy, shady and worthy of contacting the better business bureau and an attorney at this point! OVER IT.

Getting solar is a very long process from the time you sign the contract with one company, dealing with a loan company, getting it installed with another, Having trees trimmed with yet another, then doing whatever FPL has to do. Literally months! The crew with Sunergy were very professional throughout. The men that installed the panels were knowledgeable and got it done in one day. Josh, who supervised, has been with me throughout and has been awesome at answering every question I have thrown at him for weeks. Today he walked me through finally turning on my system. Libby, at the office, took over my FPL application and completed it for me in a matter of a couple of hours after I gave up after trying to do it for a week. I highly recommend Sunergy Solar.

Sunergy failed my solar inspection at the beginning of the year, and now we are ALREADY IN FEBRUARY and nothing has been done by Sunergy to help me past inspection! I have had solar panels on my roof for 60+ DAYS and I am still receiving a power bill! This has been HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, nobody is communicating with me! Starting to wonder if this is even a valid company. Please if you go solar, choose anyone other than sunergy.

So far, so good. Consultation with Luke Hall, Inspection with Marie, and Install with Shawn Crowder all went fantastic. Everyone is friendly, and the install was quick (8 hours or so from arrival to completion). Great job to Shawn Crowder and his team. I look forward to the final inspections being done and getting to flip the switch on the panels.

This process has been a horrible joke, i have tried over and over again to communicate with sunergy, every single time they hand me off like im a hot potato and make promises and then never FOLLOW UP AND NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH, i know im not the only customer experiencing these issues! I am a reasonable man and just went communication and feedback on the status of my project, if i do not receive that i am ready to contact the media and other customers who feel the same and get my legal team involved.i know im not the only one this has happened to! Pick up the damn phone!

This company with a slick salesman, promise to eliminate your power bill, and you only pay for the solar, it is not true, this is a scam in every way!

My husband and I were excited to get solar. BUT.we have had nothing but issues with this company. Not only did they put the solar panels where we did not want them. WE Had to have some moved. They subsequently had to cut trees down to accommodate where they put them. Trees that we have groomed for the 23+ years we have been in our home. The permit was not done. We had to argue with them and point it out to them that there was no permit for the installation. We still are waiting on the hot water heater installation and dealing with the fact that they drug a pallet across our front yard and tore up our yard and then had the audacity to send someone with a RAKE to “fix” it. Do your research. Make sure that there is a permit. YOU as the homeowner pays the fines. This company is a waste of your time and money. Go elsewhere! FAST. Don't believe the other reviews; performed by employees.
