Before you even get there enjoy your 30-1h30m wait at the shuttle that never arrives.
Place is garbage. All fees are hidden. Do not show up here even if you are under a package with Priceline or another provider.
They charge you $35 for going through tolls and $15.99 a day if you get a toll package.
You paid for your car to rent but they didn’t include insurance so when you show up you’ll have to pay.
Then you get the car and it’s dented and dirty but they will charge you $250 if you return it dirty.

AVOID! NU = Never Use (also Action Rental)
Horrible experience, toxic employees, and nonexistent customer service. I wish I could give it ZERO stars.

A shady company employing a useless team of con-men using scare tactics to bully you into paying for fees you DO NOT NEED. Upsell on everything, very dishonest about toll roads, and very pushy.
They would charge you for breathing if they could.
Scam: It is NOT mandatory for a consumer to purchase additional insurance from this company.
Scam: All 3 attendants at the desk stated ALL toll roads were cashless (not true) and said the DAILY PENALTY charge for using the toll road without one of their transponders was $50 for EACH VIOLATION. All three attendants stated this to several customers while I waited to collect the car I rented.
Dan (Despicable Arrogant Narcissist) IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM and should NOT interact with customers. Dan is extremely rude, and needs to be removed ASAP.
Dan thinks everyone, especially customers, works for him as he treats everyone with distain. He actually laughed and said he didn’t care if I reported him to the corporate office. I'm not surprised since Dan is mentioned by name in previous posts, highlighting his toxic attitude and arrogant behavior (Customer: Portia Lett).
Unfortunately, there's no one to go to if you have an issue with Dan's unprofessionalism and poor attitude. Dan sets a terrible example for everyone and the place reeks of Marijuana. Dan smokes cigarettes in front of the rental car return, neglects to clean his hands, so the cars smell like an ashtray.
The shuttle was so slow that we needed to take UBER to make our flight, even after arriving 2 1/2 hours early. NU is going to struggle with dwindling sales, as Dan and his lazy cohorts drive this location into bankruptcy.
Once Dan gets this place closed and is unemployed, maybe he won't be laughing. Pictured: Dan (blue shirt) and Fat Freddie (white shirt), his useless cohort in crime.

Horrible horrible horrible experience! My rental was booked via capital one travel. DO NOT use this rental company! The worst experience! I’ll save you all the drama and highly recommend renting at the airport. It was amazing. Easy. They let us pick our own car and drop off was just as easy. They were so kind. Eveyone.

Left my iPhone in Toyota Carola rental at NU Action car rental. Went to Orlando airport and noticed I didn’t have it. Immediately went back to NU car rental to retrieve my iPhone. Upon arrival, It was completely gone and turned off all within 30 minutes. I definitely had phone entering the facility. I also did “Find my phone” and the last location was at car rental place. Asked all employees and no one could tell me where it went. Was advised to call manager or customer service in morning 12/29 around 8 am. I’m sure one of the employees stole my work phone

STAY AWAY STAY AWAY - I'm a Dad on a budget so this looks like a great deal, but you will pay for it with your time. Rented me a mini van with a bad alternator. Wasted a day to get everything sorted out. The people here are very unprofessional and couldn't care less about you. Go to a REAL rental company.

I had a great experience using nucar at MCO. They have a great, easy to use shuttle service. The car was very nice, new, but it had some external wear and tear which didnt matter to me. Friendly staff and an especially great value for the money.

I have been waiting for more 30 days to receive my refund and I cannot reach anyone. I called many times, but their phone just ring all day and nobody answer. I already sent 2 emails and no response. I am posting here to see if I can get an answer. Can anybody please let me know when I will receive my deposit?

Um, gross! Zero stars! Negative 5 stars! How is this company still in business? Desantis needs to hear about this, in fact I think I’ll write to his office. Very poor introduction to the state of Florida upon arriving, since picking up our rental was the first task to starting our vacation.
It’s almost like they go out of their way to provide their customers with the worst service possible. My husband booked a minivan online, months before our trip. I went online and looked at the atrocious reviews and just hoped we would be one of the very few to have a decent experience, even with the inconvenience of it not being located at the airport.
Bad, bad, bad! Bad experience all the way around. From having to wait in the hot sun for the shuttle at the airport, to arriving at the dump, only to have to wait outside again in the hot sun, until finally being placed in a minivan that smelled so strongly of marijuana that we all got nauseous and headaches. We don’t smoke weed. We live in California, and sadly we are exposed to that smell often enough to recognize it when we encounter it. Never would I be willing to pay to have to sit in that smell for a whole week.
We parked the van at the hotel and didn’t use it again unless we absolutely had to. What a waste! I filed a complaint with them which seems to be just another way for them to stick it to you. They put you through the whole complaint process apparently just so someone can sit back and laugh once you’ve waisted your time with that, because nothing is ever done about it.
Terrible! This place is a scam, from the dirty and gross vehicles, all the way to the outrageous fees they bully you into paying, even lying right to your face to get money out of you (toll fees and insurance they bully you into believing you need to pay). Never again!

I do not recommend it. They tell you a price and when you get to the office they charge you for obligatory insurance, which is super expensive. We had a small accident, we had purchased their famous insurance and after 4 months they are sending us to collect the amount of $1,876.48. We made the insurance claim and supposedly everything was fine.and now they sent us that surprise. They are charging us even for the days they could not rent the car. At the airport we waited for about an hour for the bus to arrive to pick us up.

Service has improved immensely. I avoid the add one. Got app for Toll Roads so no middle man charge by NU.

BEWARE, Don't book here! They don't hold up their prices, you will get charged additional cost when you pick up the vehicle! Total rip-off. Our rental was not in great shape at all after renting for 600$. There location is 10 min drive by shuttle from Orlando Airport. Also, they close at 2 a.m. & reopen at 6 a.m, so make sure you don't have an early flight. We barely made our 9 a.m. Flight. Next time I will go with enterprise or a rental spot that is known.
