Fox Rent A Car Orlando

Agreement Number MCO-784729 so they know whos leaving this. Orlando location! Do not let them talk you into doing the extra fees like pre paid fuel and pre paid tolls for convenience. I was told that I would pre pay for a full tank and would be refunded for the difference of what they actually use. Dropped it off with 3/4 of a tank and never got refunded anything. Called billing department and they said nothing is refundable! I explained what the desk clerk told me and they said that's not what the agreement states I signed. I paid $66.36 for a whole tank when it only needed about $15 of actual fuel. They also said I returned it with 1/2 tank and that was a lie also. I pre paid for tolls at $10 a day, barely used any tolls so there's more I didn't need to spend. Use another company that tells the truth and has better reviews!

Fox Rent a Car is a company run by bunch of liars and cheats! They deserve a no star rating,! Starting with the dishonest representative Waadie to the owners! I negotiated the price of my car through Priceline using this company in May 2023 and paid ~$240 to rent a Toyota rav 4 the week of 6/24 to 7/1. Waadie asked me if I wanted insurance on the car and I said no. He also talked quickly about the Sunpass and how it worked. I repeated to him several times that what I understood is that I would only be charged for toll usagefor the Sunpass. He assured me that all you pay is for the toll usage and that he had me as declining the insurance. He asked me to initial in 4 places on a pad stating that I was initialing for for declining insurance and the usage of the Sunpass to only pay for tolls. Waadie then assured me that I was all set and could go after a long day of travel and three hungry, tired kids waiting for me in blazing heat! Fox Renta Car never provided me with a contract at that point or when I dropped off the car confirming that what i had DECLINED OR AGREED TO! Then these “snake oil salesman” send me an email while I am boarding my flight to return to NY that my credit card was going to be charged an extra $360 dollars, about things I NEVER AGREED TO! I called customer service right away and they said there was nothing they could do and that I would have to call back Monday. They also said that I would have to get in touch via email with the branch supervisor to try to put a dispute in. It ended up being a whole bit rigmarole/ runaround! DON’T USE THIS SMARMY COMPANY OR THEIR PARENT COMPANY (EUROPCAR MOBILITY GROUP) THEY WILL CHEAT YOU!

So I emailed fox rent car as they said to try and resolve the issue. First they did not answer in the 48 hr.time frame they gave. Secondly, I had to email them again to get this chain email reply that they were still going to standby by their unethical business practices: see below

Please do NOT rent a car from this place. The price may seem lower on the website but when you actually go to pick up the car, they tack on almost 200+ dollars worth of fees so it ended up being more than enterprise, hurtz, etc. I will NEVER go back to this horrible place. Also, they said that the gas price is cheaper if you just bring the car back. My foolish self actually believed them and I brought the car back with half a tank left and they charged me 65 dollars for the gas. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Anthony was very polite and made the transaction quick and painless. The car selection is broad. For a weekend trip it was a good choice, they have a shuttle to and from the airport.

Best car rental experience I've ever had. Ask for Gregory, he's a gem. Extremely professional and personable. We rented a red Dodge Charger for our beach vacation and the car was in excellent condition. I will never rent a car anywhere else.

I will never rent from them again. The car was great but they charge for everything. They charged $13 a day for a toll pass, we only had 2 tolls in the greater Orlando area. But we less than $1. Then they charge $20 extra to return my car a day early, isn't that crazy. Never again!

We had a tough issue with a third party and they worked till everything was fair and right.

Dump cars but if you want a cheap rental then I guess it works. But cheap rental doesn't equate to cheap service.

Customer service from representatives were amazing especially our on-site manager, George! He was very helpful and ensuring that I was comfortable with the vehicle and understood the terms of the contract. We are definitely be rent another car for fox in the next two weeks when I’m back in town.

When you rent the vehicle. At no time did I look or see that we had to leave a deposit of 500 dollars. When I handed it over they said that Ivan would return the deposit (500) but they did not return it in full, they took it (30 dollars) and did not tell me or specify why They charged me 30 dollars. I just think they should be clearer and more specific.

Worst experience ever with a rental car company! My reservation was booked through expedia only to be told I need a different card to be on file for $350 on top of what I paid already. The man at the counter was very rude and unprofessional. Will never use this company again. Don't recommend.

Great experience from the beginning to end. I loved the vehicle and the service was great. Definitely will continue to use this rental service.

Great prices, wonderful shuttle and rental services, quick in and out-bam! Kudos to the Orlando location.

I wish I would have gotten the name of the shuttle driver but he was a tall dark man with a African accent but he was awesome very informative and made us feel very welcomed. The rental experience itself wasn't too bad except for the fact that the car looked like it hadn't have been cleaned in visits at least. Rims were dirty windows were dirty and the car interior had a odd smell that didn't go away the whole weekend. Other than that the rates were awesome the vehicle didn't have any mechanical issues except for some new wipers could have been put on especially in hurricane season in Florida but we survived LOL and we will be using them again.

Very competitive rates! Use frequently. Lots of hard plus selling though to get you to buy various coverage etc

The employee, Neka, was very rude. I understand it must be frustrating having to explain things over again, but to sigh, roll her eyes, raise her voice and saying oh my god because we needed help with understanding the various charges was not ok at all. She made us feel like we were idiots for not understanding when it's because English is not our first language. Neka needs to really improve her customer service skills.

If you need a rental car in Orlando this is the only place to go, trust me or you’ll be wishing you did, had a bunch of nightmare experiences at the other nearby rentals trying to charge me outrageous added fees, insurances, waited for hours in line, but with Fox I’ve rented three different cars with them in past two weeks while my car in the shop and I’ve been in and out everytime only a few minutes! Abdul I believe his name is awesome he’s helped me most of the time even getting me into cars I wanted to try driving instead of what Expedia got me for no additional charge so if you’re lucky enough to get him to help you should have no worries.

The treatment was very cordial but they did not allow us to rent with Debit and our deposit was accepted with debit. When we arrived it took us about 3 hours to find a car rental that could rent with debit. When we got there they told us it was credit when they had already accepted Debit. We are still waiting for the money back. And I can't get in touch to complain.

The were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their vehicles. We got a ride from the airport and then back to the airport after we returned the car. We are very pleased using Fox Rent a Car.

I had the worst experience with Fox. Never book a Fox Car through Priceline/Expedia. They ruined our vacation. They are scamming people with their pricing strategy. They have a guy named Henry (I don't know if it's his real name also) who is literally scamming people to pay for all addons.

Booked a car through priceline and prepaid for per day car rent with taxes and drop off fee ($60). But when I went to pick the car, they gave me an extra bill of $131 which again included the per day car rent, drop off fee and taxes AGAIN. When I asked him to explain the charges, he rudely told me to call priceline and ask them.

The person at the desk clearly knows what he is doing as he told me either pay extra $131 or lose $60 that you already paid. It means they are doing this with other people also.

I wasted my precious vacation time and money with this company.

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was a great vehicle for the Florida sunshine with the soft top - easy to operate and drive.

The fees that pop up after the fact double the amount quoted. They don't clean the cars out in between renters. I had to car the car and clean/vacuum it out myself.

This was the absolute worst car rental place avoid it and go somewhere else.

Everything was pretty inexpensive at first and decided to rent a car from them online, added insurance and when I got there the attendant he asked if I wanted to purchase some endless toll service which he said was 12$ and I asked if it was for the whole rental or day and replied for the whole thing. He then asked if I wanted insurance for the car and I told him no I already purchased one online I’ll be fine.

When I returned the rental car and returned home i was surprised with another bill that was even more than my initial rental (I believe 380.00 for 7 days). Customer service told me that the toll service was 12 per day and they added the other insurance that I didn’t want.

Save yourself some peace of mind and money and go anywhere else.
