Why does it take 45 mins after you check in to be able to get your rental? Terrible customer service.also the extra “insurance fees” the minimum being $300? Unreal.never again.not worth the lower price.

Smooth, fast, courteous and friendly. My drop off was so simple I was amazed. From reservation to drop off this company has made my life easier twice now. I will always be using Dollar Car Rental and will recommend them to everyone I know.

Always rented thru dollar or thrifty down here when I visit West palm Beach and always had excellent service even when they were low on stock. Today I flew down for a medical emergency for a family member and on the verge of tears I asked to cut everyone in line so I could get to the hospital as fast as I could and immediately the person at the kiosk pointed me towards the manager (was at the hertz side) and she called someone immediately to process my rental. I was out of there in 5 minutes and on my way to the hospital. I appreciate the compassionate staff for this immensely. Thank you all I wish I could have gotten names but obviously wasn't in the right state of mind.

Terrible they gave me an electric car which I did not want but as per them they had nothing else available. It took me 5hrs from orlando to west palm beach. Had to stop every hour to recharge car. It was at 153mi when I received it, I returned the car at 121 they charged me 100.00 extra I guess for charging which it's ridiculous. I will be fighting it. They rent you these car with no instructions and you are on your own to find a charging station. Would never rent there again

This is the absolutely worse customer service from a car rental place I have ever experienced! I waited over 2 long hot hours for a car that I pre-paid for and was sent an email that the car was ready with at least 50 other people waiting The two managers Evan and the worst one of the 2 named Jenni; Morton Said to me after waiting again over two hours that if I didn’t like it I can cancel my reservation instead of managing the situation getting cars for everyone that was waiting for over two hours this is what this unprofessional untrained manager for dollar car rental says to customers. Absolutely shameful

First, the people at the one by the PBI airport are not very friendly. Second, the girl at the airport desk for the car rental asked me if I wanted them to fill up the car when I brought it back. She then told me if I didn't bring it back on empty they would refund whatever I didn't use. Well that is not the case. I found gas much cheaper and filled up before I brought it back. They still charged me $65. When you call the number they say they don't refund gas money paid. Rip off company!

Highly recommend! We had a small issue when renting but the Manager there, Javier, went above and beyond to make us happy! He took care of us personally. Even greeted us and remembered us the next day when we arrived to return the vehicle. I would def go back the next time I need to rent a vehicle.

Great place to rent car's! A little bit high prices especially with the gas Rising! So they trying to stick you in SUVs which is too much money at the gas pump right now! A car is your best bet!

Excellent service, and kind and helpful staff. The only reason I give this office four stars instead of five is that it is not terribly convenient. You have to take a shuttle for about ten minutes to get there and get back to the airport.

I rented a car through Expedia, they did no have the car at the 5: 30 time, but at 8 they finally had the car ready. At the counter I had Tj pay for the rental again, plus they claimed they had to hold a deposit. However this deposit that was held was then charged insurance, other bogus fees thah totalled Tk 344.00. The car was paid for in advance through Expedia, and was billed again after returning the vehicle. My girlfriend had the same problem.

Zero stars at PBI location! No cars available even with a reservation—you have to wait (currently 1hour), and a list of about 20 people. Update, still 7 in front of our name and we’ve been here 45 minutes! No customer service… example; offer an upgrade, nothing they can do, etc. Why do they accept reservations (even through a third party like Hotwire) if they don’t have inventory. Will NEVER USE DOLLAR AGAIN!

Rented a car 2 weeks ago. When arrived to pick up my car that I had already paid for -of course, they said 2 hour plus wait on a car. They took my money right away (when I paid 2 weeks ago) STAY AWAY!

We had never leased from this company, but the value was interesting, we opted for the choice and then made the lease through the Dollar.com website on 05/30, for a period of 20 days with the total value established at R$4,408.07. We paid R$3,103.75 at the time of booking, being necessary to pay only the remainder at the time of vehicle pick-up, which totaled R$1,304.32 (referring to the security deposit for the lease).
On 06/01, arriving at the rental company, the employee insistently tried to offer Sunpass, insurance against third parties, as it was "mandatory" (even informing that my credit card had a certain insurance included, which we did not want against third parties and that we had also purchased the SunPass Mini), after making it clear that we didn't want anything and still informing the same that the package was Recommendable and not mandatory by the rental company itself, he then informed us that there would be no additional charge for these packages, he only asked us to sign a form that there would be no charge additional (preventing the reading of it, this was my mistake.) I went to the vehicle pickup location where I received a car without any cleaning, containing disposable masks thrown inside, dirty and smelly, as we were tired from the trip and just wanted to get to the hotel soon, we took the car and went to the hotel that was less than 10 minutes from the rental company. After resting and to our surprise, after the whole process I received a transaction notification in an absurd charge of U$795.00, believe it or not. So I started a real saga by contacting me via social media and by phone, where, after reporting what had happened, I was instructed to return to the location of the lease to resolve the issue. I took the car, went to the airport and after explaining again what had happened to another employee, he first tried to claim that the reservation had not been made through the website, then confirmed that the extras were recommended and that his colleague should have acted differently and left everything was clear, after several narratives, he asked me what I would like to do, I explained that I wanted to be charged only what I had actually agreed upon at the time of booking, after several narratives without any justification, he asked me to bring the car to the place of return and that only a small amount would be charged for a daily rate (which was not even 12 hours), I asked about the value, he had the audacity to say that he had no way of calculating it, the dialogue then that was already difficult went from bad to worse, I finally took the car to the return location, after checking by a third employee, I explained the whole situation AGAIN and was informed that NO FEE WOULD BE CHARGED and that I should wait for an email from the company confirming. After that, arriving at the hotel, I again contacted and talked to the friendly employee Tonya through Facebook Messenger, she informed me that she would be checking what happened and would soon return.
The next day (02/06), I received an automatic email with a "small fee refunded" but nothing similar to what was agreed and informed by its employees, with an absurd amount charged on both occasions.
After a quick research about the company, I saw several similar reports, in fact I was injured and deceived, I had considerable damage in addition to numerous false narratives made by employees who earn commission on additional amounts charged to customers. They often take advantage of the difficulty in communication and also the fatigue of the trip to deceive their customers.
The situation was so critical that when I mentioned calling the police, the employee who did not let him write down his name simply was no longer present at the service desk.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! No customer service at all! At the counter the woman didn’t explain any of the charges and didn’t even give me my contract. The car I was given had stains all over the seats and a crack in the windshield! The check engine light came on during my trip and I had to drive 4 extra HOURS NORTH just to get a replacement. Only reason I booked with this company was because it was a little more affordable but NEVER AGAIN!

I did not realize that it's possible to have no customer service in this day and age but these people do not care. Not individuals that work at those locations but the company is set up so you cannot get a hold of any living person. I drove with a broken car for 3 days before I physically went to a branch to exchange my car. On top of it all, instead of giving a full size (as it was supposed to be reserved) they gave me an suv which guzzled gas the entire trip and no one even blinked that i had to spend way more money than I planned. Simply put, the worst experience of my life with a car rental company. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Would give zero stars if possible. Do not use this rental car company. Booked on Hotwire for $108 dollars - returned car as scheduled and was told to just leave the keys in the car, no checkout needed. Proceeded to be charged over $200 in extra fees. When I contacted customer service they told me the contract had never been closed even though car had been returned. Rent anywhere else. Customer service was helpful but clearly West Palm staff are not taking care of things in a timely fashion.

Would give it zero if I could. The guy added all kinds of charges on my card that I did not ask for and currently fighting. Car smelled like an ashtray and the passenger seat looked like someone got sick. I will never ever use these guys again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience ever. I had a reservation just like the many other people who were there but there were no cars available. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, completing the rental contract, they told me to take the shuttle to the lot and it would be at least an hour and a half for a car to be available. Total time, that's longer than my flight was! Very poorly managed, no updates or instructions given to anyone at the lot. Just an unruly mob of frustrated customers.

They don’t ask for your age when trying to book a reservation online. Apparently if you’re younger than 30 it’s an additional $30 a day for “young drivers”. You have to have a major credit card and a debit card just to book according to agent Nia, I don’t see why that’s necessary if a customer plans to pay in full. Way to expensive. And they make it too hard to book. Take your business to Turo, Turo is awesome and a game changer

Refused to give me a car after being paid for as my husband was the driver and his credit card was a different number than my number on our shared account despite having both cards on a shared account. They claimed they had an inability to do anything except for tell me to go speak to a manager. Not helpful unprofessional and lazy workers. I was willing to cancel the reservation and rebook and they saw that there was nothing they could do to help me avoid at all costs! I will Be disputing with the credit card company and reporting to BBB
