Scam of all scams! Rented from Carwiz. A brand of Colusa. You are required to buy their suplemental insurance on top of providing your own insurance. And of course the supplemental insurance costs more than the actual rental agreement! Since they are not located at the airport once you get to them you are trapped.
I’ve figured out their formula. They open up these various brands under the COLUSA parent company and then proceed with their predatory practices under the sub company name. Since no one in their right mind rents from them a second time after they have burned you they have a 1-3 yr shelf life and then either hope they can sell the brand or just shutter it and create a new one.
You have to be a special demon to want to operate a business that your model is to prey on others. Shame on you COL. You can and should do better.

The worst company, all they care about is money. Greedy as hell, they didn't mention that I need to have a special insurance before renting a car. The car itself was like a $100, and they demanded $600 for the insurance! After I said that I wont pay that and better go to another company, the manager said that if I write a good review he can give me a car for $400! Can you imagine that? Greedy little people, I wish you well

The worst rental car experience ever.
Payment Discrepancy: The initial amount I was supposed to pay upon arrival was $112. However, I was charged 4x that amount.
Forced Insurance and Toll Package: I was coerced into purchasing unnecessary third-party insurance and a comprehensive toll package, which I believed to be mandatory.
Misrepresentation: I was misled by the rental car company into believing that these additional services were obligatory, despite them not being required under Florida state law. The terms and conditions outlined in the voucher I received with my reservation did not include these charges.

Worst car company ever. AKA carwiz! ITS a SCAM! They require a 300k property damage from your insurance otherwise they make you pay their insurance! Gave me a car with no horn working, lights not working, shaking when breaking and scratching noise when you accelerate.with 2 kids in the car.totally unsafe! Get a car from a reputable company.

More than 30 minutes wait in Miami airport. After 3 call the shuttle did arrive. Our car was not ready and had to wait another 20 minutes at the Colusa office. We returned back the car in FLL and experienced the same delays.

I came expecting this company would take care of me and my family. I should’ve read the many complaints on this company. They get you with the low rental prices but when you get there they push the insurance coverage on you even though I told them I don’t need it. They require you to add all these additional charges and you wind up paying more than Budget, Enterprise and all the other reliable companies. I have never been told to require a $1000 deposit. This company insists on it and that money doesn’t come back to you for weeks after you’ve returned the car. I travel a lot with my family and I would never use this company nor would I recommend it to any family or friends.

Be careful with their cheap prices! They have hidden fees and they charge for a lot of things when you return the vehicle. They also provide you old, noisy, damaged and smelly cars and you have to make a complaint in order to switch it for a better one. I DO NOT recommend this place. Worst rental car experience ever!

I booked a car rental on Priceline in March It originally was CarWiz and somehow changed to Colusa 2 days before the trip via email. Not happy and I will never book you again. You have an unbelievable insurance policy. I have rented at least 30 times in Florida over the years and have never had to get supplemental insurance. My Geico insurance was always adequate. And if I had time to read it I would have canceled the rental. I only knew about it at 7am after I got off the plane and arrived at the off site office Which was another surprise because I always rent from places at the airport i'm going back to Budget.

Worst rental car experience ever. WAS NOT AT AIRPORT, even thought the booking said it was. Uncharges on their uncharges.they WILL find a way to charge you at least double what the original booking was. Pay a few more $$ and get a reputable company.
