Avis Car Rental

Received a vehicle that required an Oil Change. Called AVIS and they recommended to go to the nearest AVIS location. The nearest one was one hour away! WONT RENT WITH THEM AGAIN!

I call to ask for help, because I rent a car by mistake from another store and I wanted from this store, the guy say they have no cars for rent but when I go on the website they jo even fully booked like he says

Great location for picking up cars if you have a family emergency. Great service and the hours are fairly convenient if you live in Weston or in Davie. Great service all around I highly recommend this place.

A disaster from start to finish. They did not comply with any of the agreements and until today I am with debt claims that they made to us and did not correspond. NEVER MORE!

I lost a job opportunity today because I have tried to rent a car through Avis 3 times and have been denied 3 consecutive times THE DAY OFF, TWICE UPON ARRIVAL. 3 times now I have lost out on considerable time, money, and patience, solely because this company has no regard for its clientele. 3 times I have been canceled on day of, without the offer of a discount, help with another scheduling another reservation, common human decency. I have no LOST A JOB OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE THIS COMPANY IS UNRELIABLE.

Given a car with a tire that was dangerously worn that exploded while I was on a highway. The side of the tire which showed just how worn out it was, was placed towards the inside of the car so that the worn out portion was not visible - making the issue invisible for the driver to see. And adding to the danger.

The location was good, the service was quick and professional and the vehicle was clean and well maintained. Doesnt happen very often with rental cars.

The staff at the Kingshighway location is always helpful and friendly. A ride home after retirn is always offered. I always rent from them.

The customer service at this place is superb, the best.whatever they are teaching their workers, they need to bottle it up and sell it because they make doing business with them fun and relaxing. This is the only location that I'll continue to rent from them.

Never a line, rarely a hassle. Exceptionally good location from someone who rents a LOT of cars.

Thursday came and everything went smootly. They helped me with a rental, great service from him and Jacob is awesome and friendly! He eveb gave me back a ride home. I would def reccomend.

Such a great experience! I feel so fortunate to have access to this convenient neighborhood branch. They were was extremely attentive and helpful through the check-in and return process. I look forward to continuing to rely on Avis Car Rentals.

Locked us out on last day. Had to call an Uber to get us to the airport and the tow truck for the minivan.
Customer service was no better. When we called they hung up on us twice.

Great little local agency with good prices, I was a little skeptical about the intermediate vehicle given to me a Kia, because of the recent Tick Tock situation with the theft of these vehicles. I suggest you ask for a different vehicle than the Kia, my wife was okay with it but I was not!

Unbelievable, they charged $2376 usd a friend who booked well and asked to drop there an Avis car taken in MIA…. Customer did everything as specified contract…. Drop before the time required.

After three days she received a huge amount in her credit card, she is very worry. Help!

Scratched rims/tires, dirty and smelly inside, added a perfume to attempt to improve the smell…. Visa agent in Weston limited to none interest to help. This is the 2nd time with a poor experience with this Avis office.

This review is in reference to the past month and a half of car rentals I have had with Avis at the Weston location. Nothing about THIS location screams great customer service. If you are looking to have no special relationships with your repeat or local customers this location is fine. The 1 employee I have delt with in my multiple rentals for the past month and a half there is very good at making you feel like there is nothing more he can do about ANYTHING! He doesn't answer the phone doesn't give exact truth about availability of cars. Acts like he has absolutely no other car than the one he gave you (one smelled of cigarettes, tried to get into something bigger than Kona, tried to find one with a bigger trunk, tried using my free upgrade, was originally told they had no cars, he won't rent you a car unless you come in with a reservation) I could go on and on. Every time I left there feeling like I hated giving them my money and unappreciated as a customer but it was in my neighborhood and convenient. This guy isn't rude and he isn't friendly. He just does the bare minimum. Has no sense of making a customer FEEL like he would go out of his way to help them in any way. I work in the customer service industry, a smile, "let me see what I can do for you", "I'm so sorry I can't make that happen for you", "let me check another location", these small tools go a long way.end results could still all be the same, yet you feel like someone actually cared! I rented many cars from Avis through the Airport, and this is the first time I have rented from this location, and it will be my last. I picked up a Camry and returned and waited for the manager to return to the site to check the car and return my deposit which he did. Two months later, I got a letter that they would charge me for some damage. I called Avis, and they realized that these charges were for someone else, so they waived them. One month later, I got another letter claiming different charges, which again I called Avis, and they waived them again. Today I once again received another letter for other charges, and the agent told me that this was for a different customer. This is inexcusable that they are trying to charge me for someone else problem. I WILL NEVER rent another car or truck from AVIS, and since I'm in the automobile industry, I will make sure we don't do business with Avis.

The front desk person did a good job and was very friendly. Overall, a good experience but the rental prices are expensive nowadays

Came to this location to pick up my car at 8: 10 am on Wednesday (hours of operation posted on the door 8 am-6pm) and it was closed. Someone showed dup at 8: 30am. No apologies. I was late for work because of it. Very unprofessional.

Location wasn't open on time and they were 10 minutes late and no car were available till someone dropped the car off which, was washed and given to me. I did booked the car in days a head of the rental due day.

The guy who manages this location is the worst ever. Never answers the phone and and has zero people skills. Lazy as can be. Would not rent there again. Cars are brought there only "on demand". If there was a zero that would be my review

DON'T RENT from Avis in Weston 2207 North Commerce Parkway! I reserved a Minivan for about $600 for a pick up Friday and return Sunday/ Monday. Called Friday morning, before driving over to pick it up, to make sure they did have the minivan. I used the local branch's phone number and was transferred to a corporate number, when they did not answer twice.
The Avis rep told me she checked and was sure a mini van was waiting for me.
I got there on time to pick it up and they have not had a minivan for a very long time! No phone call to the customer and lies when I called them to confirm.
They tried to get me to take a mid sized SUV with dirty cloth seats and it smelled horrible. The would give me a $15 discount for the total bill. They said it was the only car they had. I walked away.
