Dangerous employee working there. First it was told over the phone that if I arrive at 6: 01 the place will be closed (reservation was for 6pm). When I arrived at 5: 59 and said "thanks for waiting”, the guy said he is not giving me the car because "I have an attitude". When I told him he is the one that’s rude, he proceeded to be aggressive and threatening. I was actually scared to be there alone with this person (other employee left at 6pm sharp and didn’t care that there was a client waiting). I asked for the supervisor, and of course the employee says he is the supervisor. And he couldn’t care less about my reservation - he wouldn’t give me the car because he “says so”. I suspect they didn’t have any cars left - that’s the only reasonable explanation for this odd behavior. Clearly this place thinks it can get away with anything, no matter how much it hurts the Avis brand. Shameful that Avis has this location. STAY AWAY. Rent at the airport. I hope this place gets shut down.

We rented an intermediate SUV. We prepaid to reserve it and I’m president’s circle with Avis. Despite this, they didn’t have an intermediate SUV and instead gave us the choice of a small car or a 7-seater massive SUV. The SUV is covered in scratches and dents - but it was take that or walk home. When I called Avis customer service, they said they can’t help unless I want to drive 45 minutes to the airport to exchange it.

We had paid for the vehicle and they charged us again for the car. We are in negotiations to see what happens.

I had already paid for the car rental ($426) They charged me more than what the employee told me when I picked up the car. I was only going to pay $65 more for the tolls and it ended up being $230. Is a gotcha.

Hey Avis, you charged my card for the toll road, but when I rent the car I used my own transporter.you do not have any customer service e-mail to send the statement.with who should I contact?

I made a reservation a month ago. Came on time and was told my car is not available. I said I could take any other car but he said they have no cars at all! I could see other customers with kids in the queue were obtaining keys, so the receptionist just lied. I told him I also have a family (2 kids) waiting for that car, he promised to call in 2 hours, but this never happened. Our vacation was destroyed! Thank you Avis for going above and beyond for your customers!

Rented a car and returned with no issues. Easy and fast. If there is no-one on the desk there is a phone number to call and they will show up fast. Will definitely rent here agin.

I showed up at 5: 45 for 6pm reservation because I knew the place closed at 6. There was no employee to be found and the hotel staff (who have nothing to do with Avis) told me that the employee had left early. I was extremely upset and frustrated by this service and experience with Avis. Beware of this location.

Only Avis that charges clients one hour late only for being late 15min
While waiting in line and nobody at front desk. Figures why the reputation at this franchise location is horrible. Stay away from this rental place.

The worse customer service ever! Made a reservation all was confirmed. Calling me 1hr before pick to let me know there is no cars available. So why making yourself available online if there is no cars! Be very careful with them

This place knows how to take the reservation, they just don’t know how to hold it. Booked on Avis.com, showed up and waited in line for 40 mins just to have the attendant tell me they have no cars. Not sure if they know the premise of car rentals.

Very low service Car dirty and unsafe. My car in dirty inside and outside with paper inside! Mirrors are dirty and one tire is 10 psi less than the 3 others. Trying to call no answer!

Don’t rent here. Terrible service! They didn’t have the size car I had rented and paid for even though I went there two days earlier to make sure they had the car. Then they transfered my reservation to the airport and I had to pay the Uber.

So when I went to pick up the car it took 30 minutes to get the car and the tire was the. Flat. Another 30 minutes to get the car fixed and the 2 hours driving it the tire went flat.

Then roadside took 2 hours to get to us and fix.

After all this went to drop this off and they had no after hours drop off box. Had to come back the next day.

They should close this office immediately

This place is a rip off! Should be excluded from Avis network. I rent all over the country and I live in Sunny Isles. It is the worst and most unethical location.

This Avis location was a little tricky locating (It is in the lobby of the Double Tree Hotel). But once I found it, they delivered a car with exceptional service. Quite pleased.
