This was by far the best experience I have had at a car rental Agency. From the airport counter to the pick up and return of the car. All staff were amazing!

Everything was great. Price was good. Vehicle was good. Service was good.
My only issue was that I did the skip the counter option due to a very early AM pickup. My vehicle was not parked in a clearly marked area for the type I requested.
I had to stop in the office to get help finding it

The representative that helped us out was Devin. He was very patient with us when we were running into problems, and helped us out a lot. If anyone gets a rental car from this place I definitely recommend him. And because of that we had the greatest experience on our vacation

I do not recommend renting a car at the Fort Lauderdale airport. I rented online and when the agent Raúl, who speaks Spanish, came to pick up my car, he made a thousand excuses and in the end, he canceled my reservation. I don't understand that I rent a car and have to prove a return ticket to rent a car for me. Lack of professionalism from the agent and the manager who did not want to listen to me. They should hire qualified personnel or better prepare their agents.

Alamo is the BEST car rental I have ever worked with. They give you a quote and when you check out they actually keep that price. The staff is exceptional as everyone has always been incredibly helpful. The cars are clean and well maintained. I now only rent from Alamo.

Alamo, esp at Ft. Lauderdale and PBI, are always the best! Best rate, best choice of cars, cleanliness, friendly staff, etc. I always rent from Alamo when I am in those airports, and many places around the US as well.

Whenever I travel to Florida I rent from Alamo, as well as continually recommended Alamo. The cars and customer service have been good.

Recently rented from them again and chose their "skip the counter" to save time. That didn't work and caused a delay. Not a big deal and was handled.

Traveled to WPB for a death in the family. Traveling on a main road I got stopped for speeding. First I haven't had a speeding ticket in decades and second I thought I was traveling with the traffic. I preceded to show the police the speedometer and to my surprise it in was in kilometers not MPH.

I reached out to Alamo's customer service twice who noted my situation and said it will be handled by the West Palm Beach office. You can't speak to someone live, you can't leave a message you can only e-mail.

I emailed day one, I emailed day 3, day 4 and day 6. My frustration level is high because I can not get a response from West Palm Beach.

Maybe I should have known that I wasn't driving a vehicle equipped for the United States but rather a speedometer that read in kilometers. However it was a stressful time and if Alamo notified me of this when taking the car, then it would have been me. But this wasn't the case.

All I expect from a company is decent service if needed, which usually not the case however in this instance a resolve could have been accomplished in minutes.

The solution is simple. Respond to your clients in a reasonable amount of time, if justified settle it quickly.

What I am looking for a response about the vehicle I rented and reimbursement for the speeding ticket received.

West Palm Beach Alamo rep Maxwell Webster went above & beyond for me. Acted very professional in a stressful situation. Location didn't have any cars and lots of people getting upset at how long they had to wait. If he lived in New Hampshire I would hire him for my company in a heartbeat.

The worst car rental or any other service i have ever experienced. After renting at enterprise many times before i wen there to extand my rental like i did many times before. This time from some reason “Alamo” employees took over the operation at that location. A very angry and irritated person named Lauren or Laura wanted to charge me extra 900$! For coming to them instead the original rental location in miami. When i asked why is it 900$ extra she became very irritated angry.
I ended up spending there 3 hours and talking to more than 10 representatives and manager to simple extand my rental agreement.
During that time i witnessed the same representative making fun of customers behind their backs and even occasionally swearing. The manager who she transferred me to was saw everything that is going on but chose to ignore it. That manager is incompetent and doesn’t seem like she wants to be there. They should all be replaced there by people who actually want the job and will enjoy providing the service.

The check in process was fast at the Alamo at the WPB Airport, when i was at home i realized that one tire had a screw or something, so i drove back to Alamo and they asked me if i want another car or wait to replace the tire, was really fast and the customer service was amazing, the dropoff was fast again, and thery credited me 52 usd to my card also!

As someone who used to be a branch manager, I understand the complications and stress of not having cars at an airport location. However, I cannot relate to a manager stooping to be snarky with customers.

Jamie, supposedly the manager, lacks the emotional intelligence needed to be in her position. She could not understand why we would be frustrated that there were no vehicles despite having a prepaid rental. As opposed to checking other branches for stock or suggesting a time that a vehicle would be available, she told us that it was our fault that we booked same day. As for the vehicle being paid, well that was our responsibility to call the credit card company and cancel the charge - which amusingly enough the cc company had to call Alamo to confirm they couldn't complete our reservation and we had not received the car. The whole experience was awful. I pity the trainees under her guidance.

We made a reservation for a car and turns out that upon arrival there was no cars. On top of that, the manager was nasty about it and unhelpful.

Not the best. Picked up the car at night in the dark. Next morning saw there was stuff all over the outside of the car. As if the car was not cleaned. First day of my vacation I spent trying to get in touch with someone. Next day someone finally calls back and now wants me to waste more time on my vacation to drive the car all the way back to get a new one.

It was our first trip to West Palm Beach and Alamo hooked me up! Jenice was so helpful & so kind! I asked for a fun car.they got me into a sweet mustang convertible & it was freaking lime green! So much fun! The staff was so attentive to me as I waited for my rental. The service from start to end was superb! Thanks Alamo! I can always count on them!

we arrived at the rental center and there was 10 persons on line and one at the counter working with the only agent. A half hour later the agent who obviously had no concern about the 10 persons waiting. Was still working with the same customer.
At that point I left my partner on line and walked a 1/3 of a mile to Enterprise waited on line for 2 previous customers to finish and I had a car in less than 30 minutes. I then drove to Alimo to pick up my bags and partner. The line was 9 persons long and there was only 1 agent.
Alimo obviously has no concern about its potential customers.

Worst place to rent from in West Palm Beach! I travel and commute for work often and THIS company has not only been unpleasant but VERY unprofessional! The communication is horrible and the harassment is the worst! I was in the hospital sick and only two days past due after renting for MONTHS with this company and they did the worst most unimaginative and unimaginable things to me with no compassion, no regard and no sympathy to human kind. Here's the updated pictures as promised! Now, Ive tried my very best to communicate, however, misspelled threatening text messages and booting the vehicle on private property goes way beyond even human compassion!

Alamo PBI airport overcharged me more than $100 on a rental car Labor Day weekend. I’ve made numerous attempts to allow them to make it right. Always promised a call or message from management at this location. Crickets. Alamo lied to my credit card company as to why I’d been over charged. Will be escalating my efforts. Do not believe them when they tell you they are notating on your account the discrepancy between the car you ordered and the car you received.

I am so disappointed to have to write this review. I have been an Alamo customer since I’ve been renting cars. But this experience has been the polar opposite of everything I’ve come to expect from Alamo. I will not be bringing my business to them any longer.

To start, I reserved a Full Size car, but when I checked in that evening, I was encourage by two different people to take an intermediate car because there weren’t any full size cars available at that moment. I asked how long a full size would take to get ready and the answers were vague and created the image of me having wait a significant amount of time. The Intermediate that was sitting up front was described as “cleaned, fueled and ready to go” it was late, so I took the intermediate.

However, the next day, in the sunlight, it was obvious the car had not been cleaned. There was residue from drink spills on the door panels, food caked into the seats, a glob of who knows was in the corner or my instrument cluster and more. Amid the pandemic, when so many people are excessively preoccupied with exposure, Alamo puts out a Complete Clean Guarantee and boats conducting a 20-point inspection on each and every rental. But at a time when I’m doing my best to avoid exposure to myself and my grandmother, Alamo hands me the filthiest car they’ve ever given me, and then to top things off, refuses to respond to me when I reach out to complain about it, twice.

What could have possibly happened for a customer of over 10 years to be treated with such disregard? To hand me a car that forced me to invent other solutions for my grandmother was extremely frustrating. To ignore me for a week is unacceptable. I’ve cancelled my upcoming reservation for the 9th and have given up on ever hearing a meaningful response.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM ALAMO. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RUN AROUND ABOUT A RENTAL AND WAS CHARGED $998 FOR A 3 DAY RENTAL. I RECEIVED ONE CALL BACK FROM MANAGEMENT AND NEVER ANY CORRESPONDENCE FROM THEN. DO NOT RENT!

Horrible service. My flight to Long Beach was canceled so we are flying into Los Angeles instead. So we called to see if I can pick up the car at Los Angeles apparently because we payed ahead we have to cancel and get a refund minus a 100 dollar fee! They lost 2 customers and the customer service wasn't supportive at all I'd rate 0!

The service was VERY good at the Alamo at the West Palm Beach airport. I was able to pay ahead and not have to wait or talk to anyone. People were all friendly. I very much appreciated the positive experience! The ONLY reason that I wouldn't always come back here is because Alamo doesn't offer free spouse driving. This is something that we value, but went without it on this occasion.

I rent a car from this location almost every month and up until this past time on March 22 I have been completely satisfied. Actually they go above and beyond! This past time was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any car rental There was ONE person at the desk in the airport while every other company had at least two or three. There was a line of many people waiting and when I asked the person behind the desk where his help was he said they were on the way. Twenty five minutes later no help! I finally gave up and went out for the shuttle. When I arrived at the pick up location and waited on another line the people in front of me had the same complaints! When I finally got to the front of the line and told the person there of my experience her answer was "well it's Spring Break" to me all the more reason to have more then one person at the desk. All in all a terrible experience! And a huge disappointment for me with Alamo. When I left the parking lot the attendant asked me how was my experience, "I told her not a good question to ask me" with that said I told her the whole story. A day day later a manager I believe her was Molly called me to apologize. She asked me what she could do to make things better? By the time I hung up with her all was well. Yes I will continue to use Alamo and chalk it up to one VERY BAD time!

Vehicle rate was best in industry. Pre-Checkin allowed immediate access to choice of car @ 11: 05pm to get me on my way within minutes. Upgraded car available at no extra cost. Clean and lower mileage.

Tire pressure was low in all 4 tires, but everything else was as expected. Car was clean and ran well. Gas tank was full at pick-up.

Our rental experience was phenomenal as always. Fantastic service from counter help. Car was perfect and clean but the backseat was not. I can't understand why rental people abuse your cars. Because of the car we rented I just bought a new 2019 Cadillac. Lol

Picked up at FLLand for a change there was no wait. Paperwork was easily taken care of and minutes later I was picking out my mid size car and Iwas ready leave. Car was clean, just washed and pretty new with only a few thousand miles on it. Retuning the car at PBI was a breeze. We just missed a shuttle
and I thought we would have to wait another ten to fifteen minutes for another. Surprised it was less than five minutes for the next shuttle to load and leave.

I took a convertible from the West Palm Beach Airport station for two weeks and was very disapointed.

My car was not well cleaned (disgusting for a road trip) and the service flag was beeping (oil change requested since 5000miles). The staff was arrogant and discussed my wish to have another car. Not even had second possible choice.
After 3 days the BMW even got an engine warning because of low level coolant.

First time and also last time with Alamo. I you want to enjoy your holiday, take another one.
My company has Alamo as rental partner, they should consider moving to Hertz.

Very friendly and competent service. We arrived 2 days late on 4/21/19 due to flight cancelations in Charlotte NC. The customer service was not helpful on the phone (toll free number) when I tried to inform them that we cannot pickup the car on time. It was all pre-paid from Germany, they said 8 times the car is cxled due to no show. I gave up in Charlotte and waited until we arrived in Palm Beach. Then it turned out at the actual rental car station that the car is saved 2 days and I don't need to worry. My biggest wish here: pls let your employees know, I cannot believe customer service didn't have that info. That is just unprofessional. Anyway, today one day before we are returning to Germany, our car got hit by a truck and we had to drive to PBI again to exchange car and report damage. Nicest and most calming service ever, first question was are you OK? Had the incident report from the police to hand it over, quick exchange of cars below 30 mins.incl.their time to document the incident. Kudos to Alamo for very friendly customer service and very customer oriented service. Would have given 5 stars, 1 less is due to the experience with the customer service of their hotline. Maybe the reason is that European contracts cannot be accessed on the US side? They could see the reservation, but not modify it. For me, it does not matter, if car reservation is made and fully paid for, all Alamo employees should be able to have access. But again many thanks to the Belvedere team at PBI.

No stars give here but you have to give one to actually post. You really don’t want my feedback. West Palm Beach Alamo (Enterprise and National) is a joke. Brendan a “manager” promised to split the cost of my rental in half due to the FOURTH vehicle brought to me being FILTHY. Soda or something sticky all throughout. I was in a hurry after being there for over an hour trying to rectify it (I had to keep asking them, as they would forget I was waiting). I had to take a fiery vehicle or be stuck. Needles to say, I paid the full price. Will not do business with any of them again.

We rented a Camaro Convertible on 4/5/19 from this Alamo for the long weekend. Car was clean, low miles, and performed great. The prices wasn't too bad either. Alamo would have earned 5 stars here except we had to wait about 20 min for the car to be ready. It wasn't a deal breaker because we were just happy to be in sunny, warm, Florida. And while we waited the staff brought us out waters. They were friendly, fast, and informative when the car was ready to go. Have that car ready next time for star 5.
