10/04/23. Coming to Orlando is always fun, however travel day is typically exhausting and frustrating. Stopping in for a Rental at this facility was impressively painless. Now, normally my reviews come days or weeks after my initial experience, but, their was an individual that made the experience memorable in a good way. Truthfully, I'm not sure if she works for Advantage or not. Kat was fun, friendly, and courteous. She offered information about getaways and activities that I hadn't known about and proceeded to offer more. Thank you for such a great experience Kat. Overall 4.5 of 5. Was a little disappointed with fabric stains in car and scratches along the outside. Aesthetics.

My husband and I made a last minute reservation everything was easy going I felt I was walking into a hotel at advantage one of the nicest rental places I ever been to. The agent Leo at front desk took care of us explained everything thoroughly. Suggested some places for us to visit and eat. He directed us to Kat to get some activity brochures she got us discounts for attractions also gave us $100 visa gift card to help us out for our sea world tickets. 10/10 will be my go to place anytime in Orlando Fl.

What a scam! The price was more than double what the reservation price was. The car had scratches we had to photograph and have the attendant come out to see before we left. They did not check the air pressure in the tires and we had to spend an additional $30 through the week taking care of that because Florida charges for air in the tires. The hatch did not latch correctly and we had to keep pulling over to take care of that. Had we been on site at the airport I would have cancelled and gone to another car rental agency but you are stuck where their facility is because there are no other options around. Stay away from this location if you don’t want to be scammed.

Randy was awesome. Super knowledgeable and made things quick and super easy.

Also Kat at the front desk in incredible. She hooked us up with free tickets to gatorland and helicopter ride. She's super nice and extremely helpful.

I decided last minute to rent a car after I landed from my flight and I came across this place. 10/10 experience. I made the reservation, was picked up from the airport and was in my rental in 45 min. Leo was professional and awesome and Kat hooked me up with a helicopter ride and introduced me to an awesome resort that provides discounts to local attractions.

After returning the car as agreed and ON TIME, I started receiving emails saying I didn't! What a nightmare, had to spent 80usd to return to the agency to get the contract and receipt copies emailed to me as an evidence and can get back to sleep well.

They charge $60 for tolls and Florida tolls are way cheaper than up north we spent under $10 in tolls. They told me I could not use my own FL transponder. They are ripping ppl off. Also their AC is broken in the building and has been for month s per the staff, and it's nearly 100 degrees outside.

I rented online for 140 dollars, I got here and they charged me 360 dollars just because of the "insurance policy", and there's no way to avoid that. I wanted to go back to the airport to see other prices and they did refuse to do that. So I did it for this time but not again in my lifetime they are going to screw me again.

UPDATE - After 2 weeks of returning the car, I'm glad I noticed a charge made by these thieves for 40 dollars on my credit card I used with them! I wasn't even in Orlando anymore, how is this possible? Good thing I told my credit card that this was a fraud and they took care of me and gave me my money back right away.

Worst experience ever. They will offer you the service and fees are verbally given but they won’t add this to contract.my mistake not to read the contract before returning car. I trusted them with information being provided as it was explained to me by 2 different staff members, They told offered me to pay for fuel upfront but didn’t put it on contract. When I returned car they wouldn’t let me go to counter and return car keys, some lady came and asked me for keys and directed me to shuttle. She stated line was for customers picking up rentals only. When I received email receipt called the customer service line and was told facility manager was going to call me back but no one bother calling me back. I hope people does their research, read reviews and don’t use this place.

This company pulled a fast one at Orlando. Not only would they not allow me to get my rental car I booked but they also required me to get insurance even though I payed for it per my credit card benefits. There is no such requirement in Florida and since everything else was closed when we arrive we were forced into signing the papers for the insurance anyways. I will never recommend this place ever unless they stop there shady practices.

Very unhappy with what they did. They lie to the customers forcing them to pay for optional add ons on purpose to pray on the weak and vulnerable that have not understood there rights. Even then also flat out denied it because they can at that very moment in time.

Avoid this like the plague. I sure learned not to trust this company anymore.

Do NOT rent from them! Rented through Priceline, was not told of any deposit. Got there, oh you need 250 deposit. Scrambled to get it because you need a rental car. Got the car, filthy, could barely see out the windshield, quarter tank of gas, dents on the door. Don’t walk you around the car to inspect it, office is disgusting. And now fighting to get my deposit back to get my car out of parking when I get back to Cleveland. As of yet still no deposit! Was told at the front desk right when you drop it off. Call them, oh up to 21 business days. Worse experience of my life!

Scam company, avoid! Do not rent or reserve from Advantage! As a family of 4, we reserved a rental car at TPA through CarRentals.com more than 6 months in advance. Upon arrival at TPA, we found the Advantage counter was closed and employees at neighboring car rental agencies told us that Advantage had closed for more than 2 months without notifying us or any other customers. We called their service number only to be routed to a call center who could neither provide us a car from another agency nor any other help or support. We had to rent from another agency for > 2.5x the cost. Advantage should not be allowed to advertise or provide a website in any way shape or form while disregarding existing reservations and defrauding customers.

Please do not rent a car at the Tampa International Airport location. Even though the website will allow you to rent, they are no longer in business at that location. We had no idea until our plane landed and we went to the counter and no one was there. Another rental agent told us that Advantage is no longer there. Thankfully we were able to rent a car with another company.

Horrible! Waited for over an hour to even get up to the desk. Only two attendants, and one went on break despite the growing line. The one who stayed clearly did not know how to do his job. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

We arrived to pick up our car to find out this ADVANTAGE location at TPA is closed. Talk about a terrible situation! There were no cars anywhere. Luckily FOX at TPA provided a car for us to rent. Due to on site request we had to pay double for a rental car.

Service was slow. Up on arrival we waited 40 minutes to get the reserved car. Car is not maintained. No windshield fluid, maintenance on car 10 months overdue. One good thing, the car was pretty fresh.

Windows were dirty and very difficult to see out of. Car had severe front end issues. Had to air to the tires every couple of days. When we complained they stated we would receive a call back. It’s been two weeks with no response after several phone calls and emails (also hung up on a few times).

Was told not to go with an offsite airport rental agency but I did anyways because of the value. I'm glad I trusted my instincts because advantage rent a car did not disappoint! I ended up upgrading to an SUV and it was still a better value than any competing off site or on site airport rental agency. Thank you advantage rent a car for not even making us wait one minute for a shuttle to and from the airport. I know it can be very concerning to rely on a shuttle to get you to where you need to go but I have never had such a fast shuttle service experience before! Will return again.

Pick up was stressful. Our plane arrived at 9: 30 pm. At 10: 09 pm. I texted the shuttle for pickup. At 10: 50 pm it finally arrived. Advantage closes at 11: 00 pm.

I made several calls trying to reach the Orlando Advantage location. The number posted on the website is no longer in service. The number for Priceline and Advantage customer service were closed.

The shuttle driver made several stops along the way to Advantage but reassured me it would be open when we arrived. Luckily we got our car. It’s had Lots of interior stain, dents and odor.

The person who check me in was not friendly. I’m sure she was mad having to wait for the shuttle to arrive with us.

They try to upswell everything. I was pretty tired. The next day I called the customer service number because I wanted to make sure I was covered for the toll roads. Plus I wanted to clarify some things from the checkin. I waited on hold for a long time. When I finally talked to them I asked about the tolls roads. He assured me I was enrolled and it would only be $9 a day to use the toll roads. Now have a bill for $60. I was charged $15 per day. When I emailed them asking about the charges I was told I wasn’t enrolled. I responded with the fact that I called customer service and confirmed that I was. They have not responded.

Customer service is awful. Good luck trying to talk to anyone there. I will never use Advantage again. Choose any other rental car company this one sucks.

Please don’t rent a car from this horrible company and make the same mistake my friends and I did. The whole thing was a complete scam. I’ve rented cars from Hertz and other reputable companies and never had such an awful experience. The man at the counter was extremely rude and lied to us about their toll charge. He stated that we should purchase their pre-paid toll package to prevent any fees. I told him that when we have previously rented a car in Florida we just paid with cash. He advised us that Florida now only has tolls with cameras. So of course we were tricked into purchasing it. Then the car we were given was covered in dents and scratches that we had to spend 20 mins marking on their inspection receipt. We were never given a copy of our contract. During our trip every toll booth had a pay by cash option. Then when we got the emailed receipt after we returned the car we were charged so many additional fees that were not included in the original price. So the man lied to us about the tolls and the price of the toll charge. When I called to dispute the charges, another man I spoke to said we could not speak to a manger and hung up on me. Please save yourself a headache and $100s of hidden fees/charges. We made the mistake of not reading other reviews before purchasing.

I had a great experience with the very kind and professional woman who gave me the key and checked me out when I returned the vehicle. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she was extremely personable, polite and helpful. I truly appreciated my experience with her and hope she is there when I rent again!

I gave a 5 star review because of Adrian! He was amazing! Our flight from Providence was delayed, and Advantage was closed when we finally arrived in Tampa. Adrian works for Ace rentals, and he went so far above and beyond to help us! He took care of us, even though we weren't his problem! Book with Adrian from Ace rentals, you won't be sorry! Absolute worst. DO NOT RENT HERE. The shuttles are not even theirs. The service is horrendous and when you come back, be prepared to wait for a shuttle. You can tell that these are not their shuttles. The drivers do not care and neither do the people who work here. Never again.

THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Me and my family rented a car from them and it was absolutely awful. The price was way higher than the price that was told first. When you arrive they will charge you for everything and the car that was given to us was disgusting. The seats were stained and sticky, there was pieces of the inside of the car missing and it smelled disgusting. The odor was so strong and it was very unpleasant to sit in a car with an awful smell. Please save your money and go to a better car rental.

I had a wonderful experience with Advantage car rental. I picked up a car in Orlando. I was very impressed. I was initial reluctant when reserving it but went through with it anyway. I highly recommend them. Reasonable prices and great cars. It took about 15 min to check in and the counter person was very friendly and gave me a free upgrade. The bus to and from the airport was fast. I would definitely use them again

Will never rent from here again. I got a car that smelt like someone just vomited in it. I went and told the big lady in the counter and she offered no help nor solutions. There was throw up stains all over the backseat and the passenger seat head rest. We had to ride in a car that had throw up and we tried cleaning it ourselves and the stain was just horrible. Never rent from a place that don't care about the clients/customers.

Reserved the car through my employer's perks program. Was supposed to cost $271. Paid almost $500 when all was said and done not including the $250 deposit. Luna was the agent we originally started with, a very abrasive and unhelpful person. She told us because we lived in Florida we had to prove the address we lived at with a utility bill which we didn't have on us. Apparently our driver's license wasn't good enough. She told us to step back from the counter because she was not going to help us and she wanted to go out to have a cigarette. What happened to customer service? !? !? We found a manager (Susie) who finally worked with us to get the situation resolved. Took way longer than it should have and a lot more expensive. The car was descent, thus the two stars. There were issues with the tires though, the danger warning displayed on the console and had to put air in 3 of the 4.

Worst rental car experience. Terrible check in. Smelly car and my $230 weekly rate ended up being $338. You are practically forced to pay $9 per day for tolls. You can’t pay cash tolls. That’s at least what I was told by check in. I would have walked out the airport without a shuttle for a higher brand. Dis-advantage car rental. What a tourist trap.

Make sure you have cash to tip the driver! My husband and I only had $100 bills and the driver said “I have change! ” So he took the bill but didn’t give us back the same amount in change. He decided how much to keep for himself! We live a very blessed and comfortable life so we chose to have pity instead of argue. This rental company told us that you get charged extra daily for not purchasing their toll pass on top of the actual tolls so we felt forced to get it. The car itself was alright. This was our first time renting from them and will be the last.

Terrible! Price quoted in writing was way less then what actually paid. Yes hassle free getting car but they rush through the whole process that you don't get a chance to review contract! The sun pass charge is ridiculous! Plus we are from NY and they told us we could not use our easy pass this is false! So I paid $75.00 for prepaid tolls which I don't even think came to $20.00 So that was a rip off. Car was wet in back seat and stunk of POT! Said did not have another car so we were stuck with the smell for 9 days! They don't give you a copy of contract you get it in an E-mail so by the time you do go over it too late to change anything. My Advice to anyone renting a car from them Do your research! We use our own car insurance always when renting there attitude was we had to take the additional liability insurance which I checked with my insurance company when I came back also an unnecessary charge. My advice Renter beware if using this company!

I originally decided to rent a car from here, when I was using my Amex app to book a rental. The vehicle I chose was advertised for ~$208, I knew since I am under 25, I would have to pay an underage driver fee, which ended up being fairly expensive at $250. Overall, I walked away paying $865 for a rental that was originally advertised for about $208. I needed to contact customer service for a question about the return, and it was impossible to contact them. Every number they have will either say its disconnected, or it will transfer you to a scam for "free Walmart gift cards". The car we ended up renting was fairly dirty when we got it, the trunk had a bunch of sand in it, and the exterior was extremely dirty, as well as the windshield having some sort of stain on it, which made it difficult to see out of. My main concern is this company is extremely unprofessional, and obviously has ties to scams. I highly recommend freezing / replacing your credit card should you end up using them.

I've been renting from my company that was called e-z In Orlando Florida That merged with advantage E-z is no longer available and if advantage don't teach they Customer service. To attend customers like they are people. And not just a customer I rent from them from them October 10th I got the car empty I called customer service they told me I should bring back the car empty how was that possible could someone stay there to me

We didn’t read reviews until we were standing in line to get on the bus. Every number we found to call either didn’t work, or no one picked up. We get there and our reservation was under my husbands name, but we wanted to pay with my credit card. They wouldn’t let us do that, so we asked to rent the car in my name instead of my husbands, and she said no. We left and the guy that picked us up in the shuttle bus said he hears all the time the silly rules they have. It wasn’t the first time someone left there on a shuttle bus instead of a rental car and got a ride back to the other rental cars at the airport.

1. I did not realize this company was not on airport property. MCO has lots of rental car companies in property - no shuttle needed- that are the same price as Advantage. However, the shuttle driver was friendly and the wait for the shuttle was less than 15 minutes.

2. When we finally got to the actual location (the shuttle is for multiple companies combined.) We were told the had they had run out of compact cars so they upgraded is to a full size for no extra cost. They have us a form to notate any dents b and sent us asking to find the car. This car was a DISASTER. It had a huge dent with a piece hanging off on the front right, a hole in the back bumper, scratches on the driver side mirror, the wind shield was dirty/very streaky on the inside, and the gas was at less than a quarter tank.

3. At drop off there was no check in process and with the state we recieved the carb in that made me uncomfortable. As soon as an attendant saw the car we were asked if we had our copy of the damage slip from when we got the car and luckily we were able to immediately supply it and show we had marked that all the damage already existed.

Deceptive practices, bait n switch policies. It clearly states on Kayaks website site "You'll only pay if you arrive for your reservation. "

Now I receive a $50 charge due to me not cancelling my reservation within 24 hours. Of course, they have a separate policy in their terms and conditions, but why wouldnt they include that in the SRP page right under the "You'll only pay if you arrive for your reservation" comment? This is clearly deceptive

The customer service was professional, welcoming and accommodating! When I arrived there were no compact vehicles and I was provided with a Totoya 4Runner, course I was asked if the exchange would be okay with me! I fell in love with that suv and will be purchasing within 10 months!
IThey made sure that I was happy! I was out of the office approximately 30 minutes! I will rent from them again! Thank You!

First I'm a loyal customer of Advantage I rent vehicles from this company at least 3-4 a month for a week each time. When we landed in Dallas we were told there were no cars available. Go online to priceline we found a car. $400 for 2 days we had no choice we grabbed it. Go outside its a 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage the car had burn marks on the driver's seat, rips on the back seat. The A/C when u turn it on smelled like a cartoon of cigarettes. On the highway the car would not exceed 60mph without the car shaking like the body was going to come off. The radio didn't work.it was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The fact that we payed $400 for a vehicle of that magnitude and nobody in Advantage has has the courtesy to call and try to fix this is absurd.

I was a bit skeptical due to the reviews. Even rented a back up with budget. “AJ” was the person that helped me. He was quick but pushed the EZ pass too much for me. I got the receipts upon picking up the car and dropping off. No extra charges. Very straightforward. Rate was as quoted. Cleaning does need to be stepped up.

Don’t let them talk you into extras! Like tolls for one.
Could’ve saved myself $70 by paying for the tolls some other way. Just in Orlando 2 days out of the 7.
Office needs some cleaning, carpets behind the desk had dirt trails. Did our own inspection. Who does that!
Only good thing is the car is decent even with 45,000 miles on it.

Staff was very professional and courteous. I was a little nervous reading the reviews of other rental companies, but I’m glad to say that I have zero complaints with the service I received at Advantage. No hidden fees, great customer service, close to the airport, and even the shuttle bus was on time and fast. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great deal and great service to match. I will be definitely be using Advantage next time I’m in Florida.

Would have been 4 stars but they "upgraded" me to a bigger car but then turned around and charged me for it. The windows were dirty on the inside and I bought washer fluid because there was none in the car.

It is not located in the airport. You have tp get a shuttle to walley park. Quick pickup and return. They was additional charges on pickup added tho from what was online. Extra $12 per day. I hate when car companies do that. Just be upfront!

First time I used them and really enjoyed the stress-free process. Pick up/drop off a breeze. Friendly staff. No dumb restrictions, no $1k deposits or absurd fees. Great cars, great price and great value. Most definitely will prioritize them over others and hopefully experience won't change.

Got there and it had tons of cars I do have to give them that whereas other times I've had to rent a car they didn't even have a car available at other places. The car they brought me had a broken driver side handle on the outside it had so many dings and scratches it was pretty pitiful it was clean on the outside but the inside on the back seat had this huge stain on it and the car had not even been cleaned properly inside, dirt on the floors and everything. And it was a brand new car a 2021 so whoever had this car before me truly abused it. So my daughter and I took videos and pictures of all the damage to the car so they wouldn't try to blame me for any of it. I had the car for 13 days, and when I brought it back they only gave me an estimate for the charges which came out to be over $1,000. I didn't even get a proper receipt from them until October 4th. I got to see on my bank statements how much they were charging me and taking out of my accounts but it's ridiculous I had to wait that long to get a proper receipt. And then on top of that I had to buy a mileage package. Hopefully we'll never have to rent from them again
